One of the most beautiful cave we have ever visiting. There are 9 zones in the cave which I strongly recommend you to take a local guide with you as you can enjoy the 500 meters walk path in the cave. The guide will help to explain you the different shapes of the stone and safely lead the walk where some part could be slippery or otherwise you can get lost in the cave too. The cave is hot and humid but there are electric fans in there or the local guide will lend you the hand fan which is very helpful. Local guide service is by local people and their service price is up to you appreciation but I suggest to help them with some money as it will support the tourism and the local people.

We went there two day ago. (Sunday ,5 March 2023) Khao Prathap Chang is very good open zoo for kids to walk around and enjoy feeding some animals with glasses. We spent half an hour to be a harmony of wild animal such as deers, camels and bears. Do not miss to take your kid here if you visit Ratchaburi Province.

I found myself at this zoo. It was free entry I think? I liked the location with the towering limestone cliffs. I was not too keen on the zoo. I don't see the point of them. This zoo had big paddocks for some animals and really small cages for others. There are a lot of deer and caged birds. The lemurs were in a small cage and had their backs to visitors. As primate cousins I hoped it was a peaceful protest on their confiment. An ostritch, two camels, two tigers and a few other animals in often confined spaces. It did smell too but, hey, animals. One python. A few Asian black bears and iguanas in with other animals. All the animals looked bored. There are a lot of enclosures with multiple spieces in them. Without pictures, how can you identify the animals? Bizarre. Anyhow, I'll post a video on Our Man In Bangkok - YouTube if you're interested.

The greenery is Thailand, which is tropical - naturally. The layout is good as the place was built/designed around a mountain. To see it is an experience -

A fun zoo stop for a family. They had camels, ostriches, crocodiles, monkeys, birds, tigers, a leopard, wild cats, deer, and more. They had a new restroom. We got in for free but you can give a donation. It is small but my kids really enjoyed it.

Sadly we didn’t get any photo due to the phone battery died. This place is absolutely free of charge to visit and you can see many animals being rehabilitated.. personally I think they could improve the quality of the cages and the cage sizes for the animals. I found so many were walking back and forth in their cages and were littering everywhere and walking on their litter. I’m not an animal expert but I’m a cat lover with 4 cats. The wild cats and the foxes there certainly looked sad and depressed .. hopefully they will be released into the wild

Lovely little zoo situated in a natural storm valley so some of the animals can have decent size enclosures in fairly natural surroundings. Some of the cat enclosures were a bit small but the Tigers had loads of space, and I imagine the panthers get some outdoor time somewhere. Good range of animals, kids loved it, and an easy walk. Amazingly it was completely free and even had cheap food / drink stalls in the car park that you could take in. Wouldn't say it was worth a trip from Bkk on its own but if you are in the area worth a diversion.

This small zoo offers tigers, bears, deer, birds, and many other creatures. Some have large enclosures to roam in, though others live in cramped cages. Surprisingly admission is free. The zoo is just a few kilometers from Khao Bin Cave.

Great sanctuary zoo in the middle of no where but we'll worth a visit. All of the animals have been rescued from various people dealing illegally with animals or animals that have been treated cruelty previously. Free entrance but you can buy food to feed the animals or just make a donation or not if you don't want to. I defo recommend this zoo as it's based at a research Centre and I seen no tourists here just the local people. A great place to see amazing animals. You would spend an hour to 1 hour 30 mins here so good for a quick stop but bring your own lunch and water with you😁
