The owner lived in Mexico for 16 years. So, she has brought all of Mexicans' favorite foods here to Chaing Mai. They make their own tortillas, chips, and tacos. It's much better taste than off the shelves from grocery stores. They give good size free nachos with great tasty salsa and guacamole. They also give free homemade assortment of pickles - it's a must try!! It's very tasty to add those to your ordered dishes. Staff were kind and so helpful, spoken well enough English to help with ordering. Dish portions are generous, which is awesome, but best of all, it's very tasty to feed the craving of Mexican foods. No need to run to South of the border - just stop by at La Casita for your craving.

Where to begin? This Mexican restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The food is delicious and the staff are amazing. We visited this restaurant twice on our visit to Chiang Mai - it easily could’ve been every night. Tried both the quesadilla and the enchiladas and have had real trouble picking my favourite. I highly recommend stopping by here if you are in the area - you will not be disappointed.

Brilliant little restaurant. Beef tacos very nice, gorgeous fish taco w/ very tasty salad in it, spicy pork nice too. 10/10 experience Simple, tasty, clean and delicious.

I was craving some Mexican food for days before I stumbled upon this place. What can I say? It really hit the spot. As some people have already pointed out, this is not authentic Mexican food— and they don't claim to be. Personally, I think they did a great job getting those Tex-Mex flavors with local ingredients. Free chips w/ salsa and guac was enough to win me over. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were very flavorful. Warning: the margaritas are POWERFUL. One sip nearly had me on the floor. I appreciate the fact that they do not skimp on alcohol. Service was great, and staff was friendly. Overall, the food is a little pricey, but I think it is worth paying for a little taste of home on a long trip.

Awesome food & drinks here at La Casita. Everything is made from scratch and the owner is onsite to make sure everything is perfect! I had the Chicken & Green Chile (fresh from the local market) and Pork with Red Chile Tacos and they were awesome.... 2 margaritas for desert and im totally in Mexico heaven 🇲🇽🏜️😎🌴😍

You wouldn't think in Chiang Mai you can get very authentic Mexican food but this is by far the best I've had and I'm from Chicago and I know a thing or two about Mexican food. The free guacamole and salsa and chips accompanied by all the Pickled condiments is very special and the service was very friendly .

Dynamite chorizo enchiladas were a wonderful treat. It was like the good old days in Texas. But the biggest thrill was fresh made pickled veggies. Jicama, okra, onions, peppers were super and made in house. Jars on the table so you can help yourself. Everything was well done.

I cannot speak more highly about this place, the food or service. It was a fantastic experience from the corn chips with home made sauces through the 2lb tender ribs to the home made to finish off. Each month there are specials at a special price. We were lucky to get the end of November special of 2lb of beautifully BBQd and tender ribs with salad and potato. Next month is chicken. Guess where I’ll be going!
