My partner and I arrived early for the final of the cricket world cup. Being some of the first people in the bar, we grabbed a table and drank and ate for about 5 hours (till half time) then played our bill and told the staff we'd return in 30 min. The staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful. 30mins later we returned. There was tennis playing at the time, so being polite I scanned the room for a few minutes and noticed no one was actually watching it. Therefore, I changed it back to the cricket. After a about 15 minutes while an old German man (who I later realised was the owner) stormed over and asked why I changed it. Despite the fact he'd been on his laptop and hadn't even realised I'd changed it for 15min. He went on to say it's only England and New Zealand playing and no body cares about them. He then hassled his staff to make us buy drinks despite the fact we'd spent a lot during the day and had just ordered more food. But that wasn't enough. I heard him grilling his staff to make us buy drinks. He basically singled us out because we changed the televison he wasn't watching.

A great place to watch sports on the 3 TV's even though German is the preferred language option. I would not order the Chef Recommended Pad Thai.. was one of the worst we’ve ever had.. and the nachos are horrible, they use wonton flour as chips.. should take off the menu really. I would imagine the European food must be good but we wee 0-2 on what we ordered :( Also the hot chocolate was not hot The Beer Leo was awesome though ;)

This little pub/cafe/beer garden is perfect for those looking for some good German and European beers, and a place to relax and unwind. They have a really good selection of beers, and a great drink menu at very reasonable prices. Their happy hour goes until 8 PM, and prices for drinks are reduced significantly. They have a good menu of Thai and Western food, and daily specials, too. There is plenty of seating, a pool table, and some large screen TV’s that usually are playing sports channels with soccer games or other sports. We will definitely return here again sometime soon.

Watched the 2022 Fifa World Cup Final here. Hats off to the staff who did an amazing job serving everybody. It was a great night. The German pretzel was my comfort food for the day. Quite passable. The crowd of course are mostly youngish Westerners. I expect this is a Czech + German style bar on a regular night. Pretty low key, and serves European comfort food.
