The reception staff is friendly and most of the reception staff were able to communicate in English. Modern and clean waiting area with free Wi-Fi service. I made an appointment (went personally) to clean my teeth. I was able to come back in 2 days, which was great (no waiting for weeks or months). I was told the estimated cost is around THB 500-1500 and needed to come about 15-20 minutes earlier for the appointment to complete the paperwork as it was my first visit to this place. While I was discussing the cost of the process, I was also told that there is an additional cost of THB 400 for Fluoride application but I can't remember informing me about a THB 100 steralization cost/per session. The day of my appointment, I completed the paperwork, and my blood pressure was checked. I was told that there is a delay of 5 minutes (this is great customer service). The dentist had a look and she said she won't be able to finish the cleaning in a single session and I must come again to complete the job. This is bit unfamiliar to me as in my home country (Australia) I don’t need to come for a second time complete cleaning process of my teeth (which I do every 6 months). It looks like they have a 30-minute time slots allocated to this process. The cleaning process was intense and continued without any break. Probably 30 minutes need to be fully utilized for economic reasons. A couple of days later my second cleaning session was done. I paid altogether THB 2600 (cleaning 2000 + Fluoride 400 + Sterilization 100/per session = 200). For the teeth cleaning process, you should expect THB 1000-2000. The best is to discuss the cost in detail before going ahead with the treatment process. Overall, I am satisfied with the treatment process and the customer service of Dental World Clinic.

The staff are polite as other Thai people. But my experience is not as good as other reviewers. I was going for a basic cleaning but was recommended a fluoride toothpaste application near the end and wasn’t fully informed of the price, which turned out to be 400baht while the cleaning itself costs 1000baht only. I later was also asked to do an x-ray which doesn’t seem necessary as I haven’t made any further booking for future treatment. In all I understand all clinics need to make profits but this one doesn’t make it transparent and clear enough to customers. Follow up their response on Oct.7: What is 100% clear is that the dentist did NOT mention, whether verbally or in paper, the price of the fluoride thing and X-ray. She did talk about the prices of Teeth cleaning and filling though, upon my request only. In other words, she NEVER let me know any service price in the first place. In fact her English is more than enough to make me understand those important basics. So it’s not just about mis-communication or in which way to communicate, but more about keeping patients fully informed with the necessity and price of each treatment. While I appreciate the prompt response from the clinic team, they seem to have shifted the focus a little bit here, which is another pity. PS. I’m not going home anytime soon yet but still appreciate the X-ray report which may or may not be useful when seeking other dental treatments in Thailand.

But if a customer calls you,books the appointment and then asks how much the total cost will be to bring the right amount along. Please just give the total cost, I really don't mind that you charge 400B extra for sterilization and or a difficult clean or whatever but if we have been coming every 6 month can we please just stop playing the surprise extras game when it comes time to pay the bill at the end please.

Here, they can perform CT Scan and computer guide which is over my expectation. The doctors clearly explained me about the procedures with alternative with affordable price. My first trip was for placing the implant posts. After that I went to Chiang Rai, Dr.Surasak was calling me every day to check my wound condition. I am very impressed with his closely follow-up. At Dentalworld, I had very comprehensive treatment for two weeks staying, 10 crowns, fillings, root canal treatment and a bridge. Everything was done fast and efficiently, great explanations from the dentists and a sensible alternative offered when my budget was exceeded. Plan to come back for routine checks up in next 6 months. Worth to do dental works here compared price in the US (for my case -about 40% less). Absolutely 100% recommended and the prices are extremely reasonable.

I saw Dr. Phoomisak for 2 root canals. One was due to a failed root canal by another endodontist, and the other was from a newly infected tooth. Dr. Phoomisak did an excellent job doing both root canals. The procedure was virtually painless, (just a couple of very brief moments of mild pain, unlike my first root canal with another Thai endodontist, which was extremely painful). He used a microscope in doing the canal. Since then, 2 dentists have seen x-rays of one of the root canals he did, and both complimented his work. One was a holistic American dentist, who said he did a very good job. Another was an Asian dentist who has had training in Canada, who said that the root in that tooth is curved, and that doing a root canal on such a tooth is very difficult, and that Dr. Phoomisak had done a good job on it. He said that very few endodontists in his country could do a root canal on a tooth like that. One of the root canals failed (the one that had previously had a root canal done by another endodontist and had failed), but it was not Dr. Phoomisak's fault. The tooth had developed a perforation in the root, which was causing the tooth to get infected, and could not be saved. Dr. Phoomisak had me return several times to check on that tooth, hoping that he could repair the perforation, but it was too large to repaired. Then I read that Dental World was one of the few dental clinics in Chiangmai offering the laughing gas sedation. I was unsure if it would help me with the treatment but I decided to try to overcome my fear and made a booking to have an infected tooth removed. They could offer me an appointment within a week, under laughing gas. The extraction ended to be much more complicated than a simple extraction, and the 30 minutes planned for the intervention gradually became about 2 hours (including a needed bone graft)! The laughing gas made me feel so relaxed and my fear was all gone, to the extend that when the treatment was over, I would have loved to get an additional hour!!! Dr. Surasak and his team did a truly amazing job. 3 days later, no trace of any infection nor pain. Of course, complicated quality dental work doesn't come cheap. But they managed to offer the most incredible dental experience I've ever had. For this, I can't thank them enough 🙏

Very modern and quite cheap but I kind of doubt the experience of some of the dentists as I was asked to do a panoramic xray instead of a local one. They couldn't see anything on the panoramic xray so they couldn't give advice about the source of my pain, they even suggested a wisdom tooth extraction! (turns out that was an infection).

Light pain killers (I don't like them), nearly no discomfort, I've even had something to eat. I'm no expert, but the equipment at the Clinic looks very good, the Clinic is very professional, costs were probably the higher end of Chiang Mai, but still a fraction of US or Europe. I don't make these decisions with money in mind, but this was an excellent and very professional experience all around. Day 2: Still a big 5 stars. Totally normal day, no discomfort at all.

Been to few places but they did not help and after my tooth get broke with extra pain. Need to choose the best option . I got reference for one of the dentist at there who seems like to be the owner. Any way to get to the pint . My tooth was extracted very slow and professional . Wich is make me Feel thankful ! But our brain alway remember and negative site too. Which are poor and cold customer services . Dentist did not want to talk with me on English so my girlfriend talk with him on Thai and I got overcharged for about 30$ in total 307$ . But when you visited places like this need to be prepare !

PRICE Gouging at the finest- as soon as the dentist knew I was from N Zealand.. For a simple wisdom tooth extraction (the tooth was above the gum- it wasn't buried at all) it cost 4000 baht all up (including Xrays/meds). This is probably the same price I would have paid if I did it in NZ. Should have gone to CIDC instead- I think their prices are more transparent and I think it would have only cost 1000-2000 baht (on doing more research) With regards to service- no complaints here- it was professionally done. Clean and modern facilities. So the lesson is to know the rough prices and shop around. I was swayed to come here on the recommendation of a tour guide. Unfortunately there is one price for the locals and another price for tourist.
