Nice hotel but not as I excepted. Not 4 stars, expensive, pretty old facilities, no fitness centre, very poor brake fest and food in general. The rooms are pretty big and comfortable but old, we had problems with the hot water and it was unconvincing. Location is good. Good coffee outside next to hotel (savory).

This resort was such a great find for us. The staff was amazing, the grounds were immaculate, and the pool was crystal clean. The open air restaurant has a great breakfast with many options. Our room was spacious and the beds were so comfortable. There is laundry service within walking distance and they will deliver your clean laundry back to the hotel. The hotel is a short walk to a huge market with all kind of souvenirs and plenty of great food options. I highly recommend this resort for your trip to Chiang Mai.

Cute traditional place to stay when visiting ChiangMai. Great location with a Walking distance to night bazaar. Our room is Junior suite. Comfy with plenty of space. (No signal for TV though 😅) Breakfast included. Ok but not much choices in my opinion. Staffs are nice and helpful 🩷

I had a very enjoyable stay at Yaang Come hotel. The verdant gardens and pool are really well designed and the pool is a place you can lounge and swim all day if you want. The bedroom was large and spacious as was the bathroom even though it was a bit dark. I slept soundly there as my room was tucked in the corner away from the street so didn’t hear a thing. Everything has been put together in a traditional Thai Lanna style as that is the design aesthetic. If you’re looking for minimalist and modern this isn’t it. The staff there are friendly and accommodating and I felt well taken care of. I appreciated being able to use the pool after checking out as I had a few hours to wait so that was nice. There’s a lovely cafe right at the entrance of the hotel parking lot with really good coffee which is a bonus. The location of this hotel is close to the night market but a walk or a taxi ride to the walled city. I didn’t enjoy walking around there very much with the busy streets and some seedy girlie bars close by but the hotel itself is a welcome oasis from the bustle and traffic. It really has a tranquil relaxing vibe.

I read somewhere that this hotel is like an oasis in the middle of the city and I completely agree! Once you're on the campus it's like you're somewhere else. The staff is amazing and the area and very relaxing! I'll stay here again for sure.

we stayed at Yaang come village 5 years ago and always thought of it fondly. so when we returned to Chiang Mai we wanted to stay there again. unfortunately this place is nothing like it used to be. we booked two rooms and both showers were dirty with hairs of the previous people. the shower curtains are all mouldy .one room smelled of sewage so bad that it made us feel sick. we asked for 2 days if we can have a different room but the staff didn't care at all. at some stage we were looking at different hotels to stay as we had 3 further nights at Yaang Come. both of our rooms were on the ground floor with barely any natural light. the family rooms must be on top because from 6am all you could hear was screaming running kids. the rooms were also flooded with mosquitoes, there were no mosquito coils or nets or anything to protect yourself at night. the hotel also failed to mention that the restaurant is only open to 4pm. what once was an amazing breakfast is now just a sad selection of tasteless food. on our first stay the rooms had fresh fruit and a welcome drink, now you only get an empty plate and cutlery in your room (why the plate?) the hotel used to be sprayed for mosquitoes every day on our first stay. we were there for 5days and it has not been sprayed once. this once amazing hotel is now absolutely run down with a lack of care but still charges the same price. I assume it's a new management. I hope they take time to read the bad reviews and improve.

Young Come Village is a very good hotel with beautifully decorated rooms and Thai style buildings. It is surrounded by trees which makes you feel staying in a jungle or sacred space. Hotel is very close to touristic street. We stayed 6 days and loved everything they offer. Breakfast would be a bit better ,maybe make some new things each day. Personnel was kind, lunch menu was good. Swimming pool was the best part , cold water and fun with our kids. Thanks for everything.

If you want an upmarket hotel experience in Chiang Mai, give the Shangri-las and Meridiens a miss and try this instead. Despite its location on the edge of the old town, Yaang Come manages to pull off the feel of a rustic retreat with wind chimes, incense, densely planted gardens and rooms in jungle cottages. The service is attentive yet discrete and the vibe is calm and cool. I want to live here forever.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yaang Come Village. The employees were very nice and helpful. It is in a great location and our room was gorgeous! The grounds and the pool are very beautiful. You feel like you are tucked away in your own little private village oasis. I highly recommend anyone stay here during your visit at Chiang Mai!

Lovely peaceful hotel in its own little jungle surrounding. Great harmonious energy. Breakfast was adequate and good quality with decent choice. Entirely acceptable for a 4star hotel. Rooms very spacious with a big bathroom and working TV. Cleaning staff were good and the whole hotel has a laid-back vibe to it. Restaurant staff are helpful. It would be nice to have a few more greetings on the way in and out of the hotel. Other than that everybody was polite and helpful. There was the usual shenanigans from some parties with Children and just noisy people outside the rooms and at breakfast area on occasion. However, it’s very difficult for the staff to deal with that and unfortunately not everybody is well mannered and as considerate as you may be yourself. I would definitely stay here again. Ps. Haven’t read some of the other reviews. I would just point out the in my view this place is not dated. Rather it is rustic and authentic in the vibe of peace and harmony in a jungle surrounding. It’s deliberately designed this way.

Really amazing environment. It’s simply beautiful. Very traditional and cosy hidden from the busy township. 1. Staff is great 2. Location is great 3. Hot water works well 4. Breakfast is simple and nice 5. Decors are super nice and if you like artifacts you will love the place 6. Environment is very clean Only 1 thing to improve, The rooms are pretty cold. It’s because of the tiled floor. If you can put a carpet I think it’s much better. The weather is super cold there these days and you end up shivering inside the room. There is an aircon but I believe it’s better if there was a heater. Other than that everything is perfect!

Great pool, amazing staff very close to the night market, massage place and a motor bike rental, the only thing is our room only had one wall plug to connect all our devices, the bed was not the best.

This Village resort was such a great find for us. We had pleasant experience here! The staff was amazing, the grounds were immaculate, and the pool was crystal clean “very clear “. The open air restaurant has a great breakfast with many options. Our room was spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The hotel is a short walk to a huge market with all kind of souvenirs and plenty of great food options is really easy to walk I highly recommend this resort! We love to comeback soon

Hotel itself has a beautiful setting with a great pool area. Rooms are a good size with comfy beds, could do with some better cleaning. The staff there were a let down which is very odd in Thailand as everyone is usually so friendly. Everything seemed like a hassle for them and they were quite cold. Only one lady we dealt with by the pool was full of smiles and a pleasure to talk with.

My friend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yaang Come Village hotel during my trip to Chiang Mai and I have to say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful and serene surroundings. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, which creates a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always going out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Location-wise it was ideal for what I wanted to do. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to old town and a 3 minute walk to the night markets. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities one could need. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet.

Horrible hotel. It looked nice from the pictures, but due to mismanagement, lack of customer service and poor maintenance this place isn't worth it at all. They put us in a room near the pool with screaming children and after asking to change rooms, they requested an additional 1500/night (more than we paid initially). Told us to call Agoda as they didnt want to or couldn't help. Stayed for new years and the staff didn't know fireworks were happening right next to the hotel, told us they were cancelled. Breakfast was missing eggs first morning, it seems you had to know to ask staff to order it. Second morning staff asked us after we already got our food... Even though they sat us down and got us drinks a while before. The worst part is yet to come. Like some other reviews, there are problems with the shower. You can't take a hot shower or the system will cut. They told us "you have to balance the cold water carefully so it won't cut" so basically their heater is cheap and doesn't work well, however it worked fine for the bathtub. Finally, on new years eve water started leaking through the ceiling in the bathroom and we were told there's nothing that they can do. This place is falling apart and in need of major renovations. Stay somewhere else.

Definitely staying here again. Big and clean room, friendly staff and breakfast spread was not bad as well.

  • 4/5 Gina B. 8 months ago on Google
The place is a little dated but nice. They are tucked away from the street but quiet. They only offer breakfast and lunch, which is fine because the night market is around the corner from them. We had a family room. This was a room with twin beds in the main room, then a separate bedroom with a king bed. The beds are very firm. We had a roller-away added, and we had enough room. But all the beds felt like the rollaway. The room did have an ant issue. So if you have food in the room, put it away properly. The staff was very nice as the people of the country were very accommodating.

We stayed here after staying in a “big American chain” hotel in Phuket, the large room and quiet jungle atmosphere were much appreciated. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was on par with other hotels. As others have mentioned, it’s not a five star hotel. We were on the top floor, so it took a little while for the hot water to get flowing. But it’s these little things that make it unique. We would recommend it to anyone who wants something different from the big stale concrete hotel rooms that you find elsewhere.

This place is magical. Starting with the staff, the food, the accommodations all top notch. My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and comfortable resort. The beds were so comfortable! I highly recommend this hotel. It is within walking distance of a wonderful market for shopping and local food. The Peak spa (6 min walk) was amazing and very professional for all types of massage. SIDE NOTE: BUYER BEWARE Our trip to Chiang Mai would have been perfect except we had tuk tuk driver who offers to drive us to a "factory" for silver, silk, carpets, wood working and other discount products... we got sucked in and were scammed. I really wanted to support the local economy...but now I know. DON"T GO TO THESE PLACES. My lesson learned... My hope is that I can save anyone else from spending money there. Go to the Women's correctional vocational training center for massage and buy gifts as the money goes back to the women who do the work. Go experience cooking Thai food at the organic farm and visit the elephants at Into the Wild elephant camp...very ethical and so much love for the animals. Have amazing local experiences, DO not not get sucked into high pressure sales....The man told me the money would go to the local family who made the carpet, and he would send me the history and information about the family who made it.... all lies.

Accommodation was perfect! The staff was super friendly, we had enormous rooms, with a beautiful design and bathroom. Breakfast was great and you have an extensive choice of food. Swimmingpool was great. Its perfectly located if you are searching for a quiet place on walking distance to the city or nightmarket. It feels like an accommodation in the nature, but its not. As said, Just perfect!

One of the best places I've ever stayed. Very beautiful, beautiful nature, Lanna Style Architecture and art. Amazing pool. But the best of all, amazing staff. Will come here again when I come to Chiang Mai

We were here 3 years ago (2019) and it was beautiful. 3 years later (2022), time has not been nice. Must be not enough guests but maintenance has fallen off a bit. What was super clean and well maintained, it's dusty and empty. Too bad, hopefully they can make a come back ones visitors and guest returns after the virus.

  • 3/5 Jos W. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice rooms, but breakfast could be more varied. And eating and drinking is far too expensive for Thai standards, and in the end there are 10% service charges and 7% VAT, that's a no-go.

Stayed in the junior suite 3 nights over songkran. Felt like royalty in this place, the room was like a palace and the service was impeccable. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed.

My family of 5 stayed for 4 nights and loved it. We stayed in the family suite and the room was huge, clean and such a cool feel. We wish we came prior to covid because things were a bit slow. The restaurant was only open for breakfast but we were out for most of the days. My kids loved the pool and I also enjoyed the oasis feel. As soon as you turn out of the hotel road, you’re in the busy area, but by the end of our day it so nice to feel as if we were on our own resort. Would definitely come back!

Lovely hotel, it was just let down by the shower. We had travelled 5 days by motorbike and we were treating ourselves to a little bit of pampering we were so looking forward to a hot shower. The shower unit was old and unkempt. The water was boiling hot then the next minute freezing cold, no happy in-between. The bedroom was big , a little dark, but that's a small minus, very comfy bed. House keeping were amazing and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

My family looked for paradise in Chiang Mai - and found it in Yaang Come Village... Loved everything- the lush green jungle gardens and surrounding,  the traditional Lanna architecture,  the peace and quiet right in the middle of the city and very close to everything (A bunch of tuk tuk drivers will take you anywhere for 100 BHT but we also walked to the old city and night market - 15 minutes at most.) Wonderful huge rooms and the biggest bathroom I've ever seen,  comfortable bed and a lot of attention to artistic details.Very clean Delicious breakfast and amazing pool which was just the right size and temperature. Staff was very polite, friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR FAMILY'S TIME IN CHIANG MAI SO PERFECT!

Lovely and lovely. My only complaints: (1) Nescafe Coffee unacceptable at an expensive 4 star hotel. (2) TV is room is TINY; What you expect in a typical 400 Baht Thai hotel.

Retreat within the city. Loved everything about it. Room was a bit dated, but we didn't stay there for the room.

  • 5/5 Adeline O. 4 years ago on Google
Beautiful property, well maintained. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Location is an easy 20 min walk to old town. I would prefer for them to be more eco friendly - to allow drinking water refill and refillable soap, shampoo etc instead of little plastic bottles.
