I can only speak on their restaurant- I had the masaman chicken curry with roti and it was AMAZING! The best meal I’ve had in Thailand so far. Kind service, too. Thank you!

Beautifully designed hotel! Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, but not perfect. If tanning and swimming in the pool is a priority to you, this place may disappoint, as the pool is very shallow and also too cold to swim in because it is filled using a hose and the tanning area is almost completely shaded at all times because of the trees and buildings lining the pool. Also, the rooms are quite dimly lit, they could use more lights/lamps in there, and if you’re taller than 5,10”ish you will have to crouch in the shower to be beneath the stream. Also since there are so few guests, the breakfast isn’t great either, and if you have a room near a road it will be very noisy during the night. Like I said though, it has everything you need, beautiful rooms, room service, helpful staff, breakfast included. Location is relatively good as well. I overall recommend just because the hotel is so beautiful.

Beautiful family run boutique hotel in Burmese style with red exterior, black wood, white sheets and lovely old furniture & blue china. Close to the old town I highly recommend this place for your first few nights in Chiang Mai.

Incredibly cute, colonial style Hotel with beautiful Rooms, comfortable beds, and a calm courtyard with a pool. The owner went out of her way to make us feel happy and welcome. Fantastic value for the money!

Nice place with a very unique style, we enjoyed a lot our staying. The location is 5min walking for old town and 10min from the airport. The staff was so helpful . I recommend this place.

We stayed at this hotel for seven nights. It is a nice hotel and located close to the city. There is a good morning market nearby and some excellent restaurants. Two restaurants in the area I recommend are Shori, a Japanese restaurant, and Faces. Both establishments are walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is located on Wualai Street and on Saturday nights the street is blocked off and it becomes a night market. It is an excellent market, just as good as the Sunday night market in the city, but less congested. Recommend this market to all. I used the hotel's swimming pool most days during our stay. The pool is small but refreshing. It is not heated so I found the best way is to just dive straight in because once in the water is OK. Sunbathing beside the pool with a cool bottle of Chang beer is great. Our room was good; it had an excellent shower and it was cleaned each day with fresh towels supplied. The only criticism I have is the hard bed, but this seems to be common in Thailand where the beds are generally harder than we were used to. The hotel staff are friendly and the service is OK but not up to five-star hotel standards. Breakfasts were satisfactory. Sharron and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel and despite the hard bed we would probably stay there again.

At first a little bit disappointed about the noisy big room. But finally after changing for an other one, everything was nice. Friendly staff.

Our host was one of the kindest person i've ever met. She arranged us everything in a few minutes, she does not know impossible. The room is really quiet even if it is market time in front of the house.

Not far from city center. Still cosy, quiet place. Owner is very caring and wants to help with anything. Roons are traditional, not a 5star hotel, but that is not what you want from this place. Feels like home almost here. :)

Beautiful food. We didn’t have cash on us and the friendly owner gave our meal for free.

Service is under average. Food was ok ,nothing special. Sai-Aiou (Northern Traditional Sausage) reckoned in here, I didn’t try coz I think it’s a bit overpriced. No draught beer, but bottle is on service. Wine is awful choice. Many mosquitoes , you can ask for the mosquito repellent spray. The only thing I like here would be theirs water bowl.
