This Wat gets points for history. It must be preserved for the future Generations. The temple is not the most beautiful Teakwood Temple but it is historic and it is very well-preserved the side of the temple has been a temple for over 1,000 years obviously this beautiful wooden Temple could not be 1,000 years old but it is very old and it is worth a visit

the most impressive temple in Phrae and northern Thailand, made from woods which is different from most of other temples. it is said that women not allowed to sit in the uppermost level. there are musical instruments and...lovely cats who would ask for some caressing from visitors.

This was not on my list, And I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised upon visiting this beautiful wooden temple. I found this to be quite unique being made of wood. I am really glad I’ve found this temple.

Visit 26/3/2019 - Historic Teak wood Buddhist Temple. Lots of historical importance.

More than 100 years old breathtaking Burma-style temple, I would say.

A perfect example of a Burmese style temple easily recognizable by the roof. Sadly, it was undergoing renovations at the time of my visit. The interior is also recognizable as it is more square than a Thai style temple. The Buddha is made of bamboo and gilded. The temple is over 100 years old.

Beautiful Shan style temple with the history of teak wood concession in Phrae. So you can offering the buddha image with the flowers and golden coil of yarn.

Burmese style for the temple. Worth to visit and respect while you are in the city. Park in front of temple. Minimal one..
