This is a landmark of the Old Town, and there are exhibits where you can see the past and present of Phuket.

This building is beautiful, but the museum isn't impressive inside. The first floor was nearly empty, and the second floor consisted mainly of photos, which was quite uninteresting, especially in comparison to the neighboring Baba Museum. One highlight was the opportunity to climbe the clock tower, that's interesting. Unfortunately, some sections of the collection seemed neglected and dusty. On the plus side, there was air conditioner making this place comfortable to take a break from heat.

The building is super stunning but inside was very bare. There were only photos of what phuket old town looked like in black and white photos (don't remember the date) next to what it looks like now. They were interesting and in my opinion still worth popping in briefly for but not the best museum to learn much from. There may have been something in the building opposite though as it was unclear if it was also a part of the museum

There's a lot more to Phuket than the beaches and night life! This museum tells all about the rich history of Phuket and is a great place for anyone that wants to see more than just the beach!

Phuket City, on Phuket Island, is the capital of Thailand’s Phuket Province. In the Old Town, Thalang Road is lined with colorful 19th-century shophouses and Sino-Portuguese buildings. Built in 1903 by a wealthy tin merchant, Baan Chinpracha mansion has Italian floor tiles, shuttered windows and antique furniture. Set in a 1930s manor, the Thai Hua Museum has exhibits on Phuket’s culture and history.
