This place will give you a free drink if you write a review. So a lot of these reviews aren't super honest. They'll have you show them the review to prove that you do posted it, and then they take a picture of your phone. It's kind of difficult to leave a bad review while you're still staying there. Not a bad place, the receptionist try to help as much as they can. The doorman is really nice. The pool was cool, and the rooms were great. Breakfast was good as well. Not really a four star though. Inflated reviews Bad location

Quite a comfortable stay, the largest bed I have ever slept in. Good pillows too. The breakfast had a good variety. Very good service from all the staff. Loved the pool, large and warm. Not too crowded. Spent most of my time there. The restaurant and bar had reasonable prices. One negative aspect is the location. It's close to nothing, and most of the taxis we took had no idea this place even existed. We rented a motorbike in Phuket Town to save some money.

Located at a 'quiet' part of town where there isn't much happening. Room was great, clean & decor looks new. The staff at seabed grand hotel were friendly and cheerful. It was a good experience being there under their lodging.

I booked this thinking it’s a 5 star hotel. However in reality it’s more of a 3 star hotel! The decor is very dark in dingy. Even with all the lights on the room feels very dark! Hotel staff cannot speak even basic English so it’s very hard to explain anything. Breakfast isn’t the best, I returned my omelette twice after telling them twice that I want a vegetarian omelette but they kept putting pork in. Pool is nice. The room wasn’t the cleanest looks like they’re taking shortcuts! After room service they didn’t replace the toilet paper when there wasn’t any left and the towels I felt like the ones I had dropped on the floor were folded back up and put on the railing as they were very creased and didn’t look or smell fresh.

POOP STAINS FROM PREVIOUS GUESTS were discovered when we first checked and before we started using the bathroom. To be fair, they sent someone up to clean and sanitize the toilets, but this encounter should be enough for anyone to re-consider booking here. We did not feel comfortable staying in the rooms after our experience with the toilet poop stains. Staff team was nice and hotel is close (but not walkable) to the old town area with lots of restaurants. However, cleanliness is the top priority for our trips, and our rooms were just not clean when we checked in. Besides, this is NOT a 5-star hotel as advertised. It is a 3-star at best.

Amazing property but it is a little far from the main Phuket or Bangla Street. It very close to old Phuket Town. The rooms are big and spacious, the pool is awesome, the poolside bar is also good. The breakfast on the other is not that good, they don’t have a lot of option for people to eat for breakfast. I mean who eats green Thai curry for breakfast? They don’t have any sort of bakery, like pastries, muffins, cupcakes nothing. The food was cold. The servers making omelettes were not wearing gloves or even a cap. The timings for the breakfast will confuse you, they at the reception say it starts from 7am, so one day we had a city tour at 7:30 so we decided to have a little grub before we left. But the staff at the restaurant said the breakfast starts at 7:30. I would suggest anybody to not take the optional breakfast even if you’re getting it for free.

From very beginning, the hotel met all my expectations. Perfect place to chill out and hide from all the hustle and bustle after Patong town. Rooms were super spacious, big TV and bed. Staff was outstanding. Was a bit sad to leave because place was spot on and my time flew by. Single regards going to Bee, my room attendant. Such a lovely, hard working and very honest young lady. Can't thank you enough for looking after me throughout my stay! Looking forward to staying at Seabed again.

I am really sorry to say that the hotel does not reach the standard of a 5 stars hotel. We have been to 4 different hotels throughout Thailand and we really enjoyed all of them except seabed… The rooms are clean but they do not have basic things that, all the other hotels we went, had like body lotion, conditioner and other stuffs that we found even in 4 stars hotel… Despite the breakfast is quite good, the resturant service is very bad, they do not speak a good English. When i sat at the table at the restaurant they brought me the menu and then they forgot i was there… i waited for at least 20 minutes, and then i had to go and call them. Then they spent half an hour to bring me a simple salad. We have never experienced something like that… and for sure this is not what we were expecting from a 5 stars hotel.

Im quite impressed to this hotel. Good quality of room material & room is quite big with full facilities pool 🏊‍♂️ gym. Well trained staffs with good manner. The pool bar is quite small and no proper table beside the pool. Only white plastic tables are on the side which quite distract overall mood and tone 😅

I really like this place, the facilities are complete, the cleanliness is very well maintained, besides that the service is very satisfying. For the price of staying at this hotel, it can be considered standard for a 5-star hotel, it seems that next time I will come to this place again. Because the food is very delicious.

Our family trip to Phuket turned into a beautiful experience, thanks to the Seabed Grand Hotel. Nestled conveniently near Phuket Town, the hotel's location made our exploration of the local areas a breeze. The fact that it's a new establishment was evident in the fresh and spacious rooms we stayed in. There was ample space for our kids to play around and us to relax. But the crown jewel of our stay was undoubtedly the floating afternoon tea in the pool. It was not only a delightful treat but also served as a perfect backdrop for our family photo session. My wife couldn't get enough of it! A varied and wholesome breakfast spread was another highlight that kickstarted our days on a positive note. Plus, the ample parking space was a boon for our rented car.

Wonderful place. Wonderful experience. It couldn't be better. The hotel is bright. Small in size, but feels spacious. The rooms themselves are also spacious. It's nice to be in them. Very clean! Cleaning is carried out every day. And after the departure of the guests, the rooms are carefully cleaned. It was easy to notice when walking down the corridor. Very comfortable bed. Large and with a very comfortable mattress. Beautiful pool, it's nice to swim in. In general, the design of the hotel is thought out to the smallest detail, down to the handles of the wardrobe and a welcome drink. It is clear that love and resources are invested in this place. The breakfast is varied. There is both an Asian menu and a Western one. Our favorite is a freshly made omelet. Responsive, friendly staff. And this is an important component of the hotel!☝️ Special thanks to the hotel manager, reception staff. To the restaurant manager and her assistants. Thanks to the cleaner who cleaned the room. Qualitatively and delicately. In general, providing service and being inconspicuous at the same time is a high level, and this is the place to be in this hotel. The hotel is ideal for couples or families with children who are looking for an elegant holiday with taste. Parties in the rooms and noisy behavior here feel inappropriate. Seabed is a small oasis in the center of Phuket.

DON’T TRUST THE 5-STAR REVIEW AS THE HOTEL GIVES A WELCOME DRINK FOR THOSE GIVING A 5-SRAR REVIEW. This has been the worst stay we have ever experienced in Thailand in term of services. We booked a pool access room through hotel agency website but the receptionist (Tee) informed us that the pool access room was full and tried to give us a standard room in which the price was 800THB lower with no further refund. At least the receptionist should have offered us a room upgrade instead of a downgrade. WHAT A LOGICAL SOLUTION TO THIS. Plus, the old female receptionist was very unfriendly to us.

Superb location where you can go to many local restaurants and Phuket old town. The room is very spacious and their bed is very big and comfortable. All needed amenities are provided in the room. USB sockets are in everywhere in the room. LOVE!

This hotel is drop dead gorgeous. The ambience is minimal and aesthetic. The room service is prompt. Everything here is clean. The food is affordable. And finally, the staff are the kindest. A huge shout-out to Sooraya. She's the sweetest!

The hotel is very clean, new and modern. It has a great pool with a bar. The rooms are nice with good facilities. The pool is really a highlight and it stays open late which is nice during a vacation. The breakfast was very good. There is also gym. The hotel is not near the beach and taxi is about 10-20 mins to old town, a Family Mart is nearby but guests need transport for most things. The road in front of the hotel is well connected to Phuket's main roads.

The price is reasonable and we had a great stay! Love the pool and gym, room is clean and has everything you need! I’ll come back with my family again. Although it’s not near the beach but if you like to visit old town, shopping and do some tour. It’s good to stay here for a few days.

The entire property was very clean. The pool and gym were very pleasant to use. Toilets were very clean and the bed was very clean and comfy. Service in the hotel was excellent as well! The hotel is located about 5min drive away from Phuket Town. Not exactly walking distance, but that distance means that the hotel is in a quieter part of town which is excellent. Bonus, there's a Family Mart (convenience store) right next door! My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Seabed.

Not very good service, we arrived at the hotel at 08.00 after an 11 hour bus journey and we were told check in was 14.00 asked if an early check in was available but told no. Told the reception about the overnight journey and we asked if we could get a coffee while we waited as breakfast was open (we didn't expect any food - but wanted something to drink) we were told there's a 7 11 up the road. We had a walk around the area outside the hotel but there isn't really anything nearby. Asked about a shuttle service to phuket old town - they don't have one (sure I read somewhere that they did). We finally received the key to our room at 13:45, after watching many others check in. When we received our room we were disappointed that the only view was of four, large concrete squares full of stagnant water and a blank, white wall. There was a balcony with a table but no chairs. There was a strange smell when we entered the room, we had booked a superior room but we were too shattered to complain. The first night there was a private party in the restaurant and we could hear every beat of the music, which went on till after 11pm. Next morning, we noticed the electric had gone off in the room over night. We were up at 06:30 to go on a trip we had pre booked and had to use mobile phone torches in the bathroom in order to get ready. We asked at reception if someone could look at the electrics, and we complained about the music, we were told that they had a private party and they don't have any more that week. When we returned from the trip 18.30 we asked again if they had looked at the electrics and if they had any more parties planned, and told it was OK and no more parties. Entered our room and were greeted by the strange, foisty smell again. On our 2nd morning (Sunday) we were woken up 07.00 with a band banging a drum outside the hotel something to do with the hotel thanking Buddha. That was the final straw for us so we booked flights back to Bangkok for the next day, the hotel says they have a shuttle bus to the airport but when we asked it was 900 baht, so we booked a grab taxi for 450. On our final morning at breakfast which is directly below our room I discovered that the funny smell in our room, was the same as one of the thai dishes they served . We were booked for 4 nights but only stayed 3. Not a good hotel in our eyes, on a brighter note the pool was good and the pool side rooms looked lovely

Most of all, after 5 nights of stay, its great stay at seabed hotel for a couple, its newly built, and everything looks fresh. Excellent front desk staff hospitality - this is our top positive experience here! A bit disappointed with staff at the bar as theres one seems to be not so helpful when we are about to pickup welcome drink and simply we forgot a voucher at the room and we decided to drop it due to a bit rude rejection from the staff. We will definitely come back and expect pool bar staff improvement!

We recommend this hotel! Very nice and kind staff, clean room, delicious food and drinks, amazing pool, perfect for kids. Just one thing, the room were a little damp. But it’s not so important. We love it there❤️ Thanks!

This place is not far from the old city and it is easy to go to popular beaches. The staff is nice, the room is clean. The only downside is that I smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom. This should not happen in the non-smoking room.

We love this hotel! My friend and I stayed for 2 nights and it was wonderful. Very helpful and polite staff and they made us felt very comfortable. The breakfast had many variety and taste very good. The facility is close to the old town and easy to get around if you use Grab app. The swimming pool is also amazing. We will definitely come back again next time. ขอบคุณค่ะ

⚠️ Not ideal for solo adventurers! Please note the hotel discourages solo travelers to have guests over by charging an additional 1.500 baht per night. 👨‍👩‍👧 The hotel seems to cater towards couples and families wanting some peace and quiet. If that's what you're after, this will be the right choice. 🍻 Patong is quite the drive away: about 30 - 40 by car. I ended up staying several nights there. 🏡 Old Town is near and definitely worth the visit. 🍳 Some wrote how breakfast isn't good. I paid the 300 baht and tried it for the sake of this review and honestly, it wasn't so bad.

This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. It's a 3 star hotel so our expectations were not met. Staff were somehow polite, those at rhe reception better than those at the bar. Breakfast is good but limited options for vegans and celiacs (Gluten-free) Rooms were regularly and well cleaned. The hotel was also quiet. The rooms however did not have some amenities. No lotion. No plugs in the bathroom. No fragrance in the room. The room was kind of humid and had a strange smell. The restaurant service is slow and food is not that great.

  • 4/5 Jasmine T. 5 months ago on Google
Definitely not a 5 star hotel, 3-4 stars at best but very good value for money. I'm giving a 3 rating for the room because it always had a dank humid smell.

Absolutely love this hotel! We stayed for 7 days and wish it could of lasted longer. The pool is incredible, plenty of space for everyone & they have a poolside bar, cocktails are a little watery so I stuck mainly to the beers all reasonably priced. The breakfast is good, lots of western & asian selections which changed each day, we didn’t include it in our room but the staff made it easy for us when we wanted it, it cost 250baht per person. Staff if I could give them a 10/10 I would, kind and always helpful. They had a few trainee staff who were amazing as well. Rooms are well cleaned, great sized safe to keep your personal items safe. Only downside for some may be the location but taxi’s are always around the area ( we used Grab ) or you can rent a scooter. We didn’t find it an issue at all. Would highly, highly recommend staying here the next time in Phuket, especially if you want to avoid the heavily tourist areas. Thank you Sea Bed Grand!

I stayed at Seabed for the sandbox program and I really enjoyed my stay. The room is very spacious and clean. Breakfast was really nice and a lot to choose from. I loved the Money Mixed cocktail I had at the poolbar and also enjoyed happy hour! Because the hotel is more in a quiet area I did rent a scooter to get my way around because taking the taxi for a few hundred meters is already 400 baht. I think the only minus thing I can think of is that I had really loud neighbors who were slamming the door in the late night and forgot to close their doors and then the door alarm goes of if you do not close your door properly. But in overall a really nice stay and see you again when I'm in Phuket!

Highly recommended. Amazing stay. Especially the hotel room as it is very big and comfortable stay. 10 out of 10. The pool is also very relaxing. Enjoy my days with my friends here. 7-11 is nearby. Very convenient

Fantastic 5 star stay. Room service food was crazy good. The breakfast buffet wasn't the best, I wish there was more in the Thai selection since there was only assorted curries. It was our last stay and best room we had.

Normally I stay in 5star chain hotels, but decided to give a shot to this one this time. Wasn't disappointed. It's righteously 5star place without 5star posh style. Room was spacious and clean, everything looks new. Bed and bedsheet quality is amazing. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise - plenty of choices for different tastes. Pool is great as well. Location is great (perhaps because we had a car) - just next to it is good japanese buffet place and great Thai massage - it's advisable to visit those places as well. Keep up the good work guys

Amazing place to stay and very affordable for the level of comfort, cleanliness, amenities etc. They have a huge pool for swimming, and multiple smaller pools for just hanging out (kids) but you can also float on the big cushions - the pool is BIG! The bar by the pool also took orders for food, service was very fast and all the servers were very attentive and pleasant! Front desk check in was also easy, the staff were engaging and friendly. The gym was well equipped for various types of workouts and very quick to access and kept clean. Breakfast had western variety and Thai food - definitely a good choice to have breakfast here itself simply considering the variety each day! 10/10 would recommend! Also there’s an amazing Japanese restaurant right next door which had very fresh food which we tried for dinner! It was a welcome, relaxing stay that we thoroughly enjoyed!

The hotel was decent, but we dont really understand the hotel policy counting babies as one person, and only let 3 people in a room. We had another 3yr old child, and its counted as four people already. Other than that, the room was clean, and the buffet spread is ok. Nice view of the pool from the room.

A great hotel in the middle of town close to all the local amenities. There is a great market on the next main road, alas I cannot pronounce the name! We hired a scooter from the hotel for the entire week we were here for 300 baht per day. What more can I say? Great hotel!

PROS: Big beds, clean rooms, decent pool, value for money, really good showers - strong water pressure and fast reacting temperature adjustment. CONS: No electrical outlets in bathrooms. No chairs on balcony (mine didn't have one, at least). If the room doors aren't closed a warning noise will go off this woke me up a few times in the middle of the night by late night drinkers coming back to the hotel. Bed sheets are a bit too small, for a 200cm bed used on a 213cm bed (two singles put together), so I find myself tucking them back in often. The pool has only 1 stairs for entrance, so you can only get in and out of the pool on one side if you don't want to climb out (no pool ladders either).

Be sure to use it when you visit Phuket. I felt good because there was a kind staff who welcomed me as soon as I came in. And with the new information she told me, I enjoyed sightseeing and the impression of Phuket was even better. (NAM, thank you) I went around another hotel in Phuket for 5 days, but I liked this place the most. In particular, indoor shoes were good, considering the use of the swimming pool. Of course, the swimming pool is pretty! Among them, the air conditioner in the room is well maintained, so it's much better to breathe without dust. everything is perfectly.

Staying there the second year in a row. This time (March 2022) paid 1050THB for superior room + 500THB breakfast for two. BKF worth the money: freshly brewed coffee and good selection of food with egg station. Huge parking. Like everything about it. 1000THB refundable deposit upon check in.
