Chang Hua Man Royal Project is the last project of late king Rama IX. It is a little bit out of the way but if you have some Thai friends that can take you or you want a bit of an adventure it’s worth a visit. This project was set up as an example how to best use the land for agriculture. There are bicycles to borrow or you can take a free small bus tour around the project. Also take a walk around the small lake up past the Royal residence overlooking the project and up through some beautiful gardens .Before you leave you can purchase some fresh fruit & vegetables with other products grown produced at the project from the Golden place and other stalls.

It is a very nice facility. There is a shuttle bus to go around the area for every half an hour. You can also walk around. It is a very educational. It is a bit on a down side since we went during the COVID-19 period: a few things like bike riding is not available.

This place is initiated by our beloved King Rama9. This project is for Thai citizen. Bicycle is free for everyone to ride and learn from our father. How can we find the King who dedicate for other people like this ? There is no beautiful castle here for King but only the small house and his farm for everyone , researching and experimental about agriculture. I do LOVE my King

Recommended for anyone who like to see remarkable plant and agriculture. The majesty 9th king has a passion for developing the nation agricultural efficiency and this is one place to see all his work. From massive lemon to 200 banana in one branch. As a side note, this is the second time I been here since they first open which was beginning of 2014 and a lot have changed. They have a gas station now, which is extremely impressive and classic. The tour van was filled even though it was a rainy day. There is also a milk factory and a store to buy a lot of the product produce there.

One of his Majesty the king rama 9 heritage. Only activity available is 15-20 minutes tram touring around the place. Very small souvenir shops. There is a new building worth to visit at the nearby hill, it was formal royal mansion but nowadays small museum. Majestic scenery. Be note that this place officer are not fluent in English.

Place to study royal agricultural project of late king Rama9. Totally free of charge. A bit far from the city but trust me it’s worth visiting. In remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Great Royal King Rama IX project. A bit far from main road but worthwhile for coming here. A great area for take a break of. As you know, there are many people describe about this place. You should see by yourself, staff here are very friendly and would like to explain what they do at this area. You should not miss this place. PS. Be aware for the local woman monger who set a small shop (with motorcycle) beside the road at the car parking area. She sell fruits (as i went there, she sold rose apple). The price is a bit higher than in the shop and the quality is not good as it should be. (I bought one kilogram about 80 baht. When i drop at the PTT gas station, price is only 60 baht and quality is better : same kind of rose apple (Chompu Muang Phet) and the merchant is local monger, too). I think this is not the path of the Royal Project. She seems local person who live around there and i would like to help her. I am not mention that you should not buy but be aware and check it.

One of many belated king's project to improve local farmers potential. You can walk around and learn a thing or two along the way. Kind of like a living museum.

We are so happy to visit here during our stay in HuaHin. The staff in learning center welcome us with hospitality and showed rich knowledge about the project established by be loved The king of Rama9 . It’s so great to visit the meeting hall in 2nd floor and can feel strongly how The king of Rama9 loved this land and his Thai people. We also took the shuttle tour knowing about local plants and do a small shopping produced from the farm. The milk is fresh and tasty. Need to drive to there. Free admission. Recommend this place on your way to the national park nearby.
