Small airport and not crowded at all, departure screening is straight forward- before entering the building and one after Immigration check If you are departing on scoot at 2.40pm , usually the check in counter open at 12pm , so go early for your check in Scoot also departs from Gate 6 usually

Nice airport! Quite small but convenient. The security control was a bit complex because of double scanning when entering the airport and the gate. However, the airport staffs were very helpful. The walking distance from the entrance to the check-in counter is not far. The toilet was clean and well maintained. There are many shops for local souvenirs, coffee shops, and restaurants. Taxi to the city by Grab was not expensive, around 200-300 baht.

If you have to boarding from the gate zone B (Thai Lion Air flight) . It has nothing to eat inside the gate. If you are hungry you need to eat from 1st floor. It look like a new area and suppose to be international flight gate. No drinks, No food at all. Only duty fee shop that sell alcohol drink and perfume. So sad they don't put any cafe or convenient shop inside Zone B gates. I am so hungry and nothing here. And other passengers they are looking for food as well. The airport should inform all passengers before get into the gates. That will not be anything to eat here. It would be nice of them

Just a small little airport for international / domestic flights / arrivals n departure all in one place... Separate into two levels... There do have some shops n cafes n a small massage chairs area too... For a small airport terminal like this, they are neat n clean n clear too ... No comments...

There are coral lounge, cafe and restaurant in the domestic air-side(2nd floor). In the land-side(1st floor), there are burger king, dunkin, thai restaurant and cafe.

Hatyai International airport is a small airport but it's a hub of deep southern Thai region. It serves both domestic and regional flights from Singapore & Malaysia. It's located 14 Km southwest of Hatyai city centre. You can take a minibus or a taxi from the airport to the city.

The access for international and domestic flights is mixed, check-in counters spread over different floors instead of being in the same place, if you have to board a domestic flight and your gate is located in zone B, beware there is no store once you are in front of the gate. If you want to eat, take your meal on the 1st floor. Overall, everything is poorly organized. Which is quite rare in Thailand IMO were airports are usually clean, safe, well organized.
