A wonderful little Myanmar food restaurant off one of the main Nimman streets. There's motorbike parking out the front, car parking out in the street should be OK during off-peak hours. Eatery is situated within the same building as the Greenhouse Cowork space. Very clean, minimal interior. Order and pay at the counter. Staff are welcoming, very friendly, and helpful with menu/dish selections. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious, flavoursome, and reasonably priced. Generous serving sizes. Of note, the mohinga is like a warm and comforting hug (if you're into fishy, tomato-y, vermicelli-y soup hugs) and really satisfied the breakfast noodle soup craving. Less fishy than other versions around CNX. A solid bowl. Laphet thoke was wonderful and on point. Rice and beans (with the usual accompaniments) was terrific, as was the nan gyi thoke (carb-heavy but worth it!). Excellent Myanmar comfort dishes. Thank you, team! Come for the variations of Myanmar tea. Coffee... you won't miss much if you skip it here. Can't wait for future visits to try more of the menu :)

I am a tea lover and Myanmar tea here is the best in CNX. Food is great, especially Thick noodle salad with chicken(Nan Gyi Thoke)

At Gatone's tea shop, Mont Latt Thoke (Burmese rice noodle salad) is my favorite. Shop is clean and green.

Just ordered Chicken paratha, Kyar Zan Chat and Iced Tea from Gatone’s for 3rd/4th??? times. As expected, the taste never disappoints.
