This place was so beautiful! Really tastefully done - really felt like Thailand in a building! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is good. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and a 7/11 just across the road. The one downside for me, and it's a big one, is that it's noisy. If there are other noisy guests, you will absolutely hear them in your room, while they are talking in their room. The walls are paper thin and there are mesh airvents above the door that let all the sound in. Bring earbuds! We had a fan Room and this was cool enough for us.

Great service. But this a budget location so manage expectations. The people managing the place are very nice. 🙏🏼 For those traveling in Bangkok just now, I suggest installing Bolt app. It’s like Thailands Grab app. If you want to get places fast, be comfortable booking motorcycle rides. Anyway, your choice for transpo.

The location wasn’t the best for us. It was moderately difficult to get a taxi off the street and a long walk to places. The room itself was very clean and the bathrooms were always spotless. The shower facilities were great. Reception staff are super helpful.

Nice quiet guesthouse. Entry is via an alley. Location is a bit out of the center but the street the guesthouse is connected too is good and closeby a beautiful wat and not too far from the river ferry. Shared bathroom was clean and bed is very comfortable. Only downside is the walls are a bit thin so you can hear the neighbors and hallway

What a serene, peaceful and all-round enjoyable place to spend a few days! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are basic but spotless and serve perfectly as a functional place to sleep, in a quiet and safe part of what can otherwise be an overwhelming, bustling city. Location is good, with a number of bus stops located a short walk; most of which can take you round a lot of the city. Didn’t try the food but they have a convenient fridge with water/beer/soft drinks etc. Thank you for having us at the guesthouse and we hope to return again!

Very nice decoration guesthouse and traditional Thai house. Recommend not to take a fan room as it’s get really hot at night even though in February. The room have no sound proof so will be noisy at night. The location is great!

I loved my stay at Tavee Guesthouse. The hotel and its staff are extremely charming. My room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. As a solo woman traveler, I felt safe and secure. Nice to stay in a less touristy area near the local markets. I will be staying again when I return to Bangkok. Highly recommended!

I loved this place. Straight off 16h of travel and no sleep the night before I was ready for a great night sleep and i I got it. Everyone was either really quiet or my loop ear plugs are better that I thought. The bedding was just an under sheet and the top was more like the material of a towel so I asked for a top sheet instead and they kindly gave me one. I was upstairs at the end of the hall so if you have a small bladder that could be an issue as the bathrooms are downstairs. The stairs are really steep which didn’t worry me but if you have dodgy joints it would not be great. Air con was great, staff were great. Never had to wait for the loo but I was up at 6am and when I came back from a morning walk and boat ride just after ten it was pretty busy in the cafe area downstairs! The neighbourhood is great and I would stay again!

12 years that i visit frequently this guest house. It really became my second home in Bangkok and i can’t imagine going somewhere else! The rooms are clean, confortable and suit to different budgets (with private or shared bathroom, with fan or aircon). There is a super atmosphere, the family is professional and very helpful (giving infos, organizing your bookings if needed etc). The breakfast is delicious (special mention for the « club sandwich » 🙏🏼). And the guests are from all nations, all ages so you always can meet interesting people here! Very well located, as it’s in a very calm district - and at the same time close from everything. Another super point : there is a storage room for free! Thank you for everything - it feels good to come back to your place!
