This
review
is
a
little
late.
My
husband
and
I
stayed
at
MM
Bangkok
in
October
and
our
experience
was
awful.
The
only
reason
I
didn’t
write
this
review
sooner
was
because
we
had
other
stays
at
mad
monkey
booked
and
I
was
afraid
they
would
get
canceled
without
refund
if
I
wrote
this.
I
will
admit
we
were
there
longer
than
most
people,
but
in
the
time
we
were
there
it
sucked.
Our
first
week
there
the
water
went
out
for
48
hours,
meaning
no
toilets
or
showers
and
no
communication
from
staff
the
first
36
hours.
No
trying
to
accommodate
us
elsewhere,
no
refunds,
nothing.
A
girl
in
my
room
projectile
vomited
all
over
everything
and
my
other
roommate
told
the
front
desk
and
it
took
12
hours
for
them
to
clean
it
up.
(Pic
below)
Another
girl
in
my
room
had
a
panic
attack
after
she
was
harassed
by
a
fellow
male
guest
and
had
her
phone
and
room
key
stolen
(HUGE
SAFETY
ISSUE)
and
wanted
to
leave
the
hostel
and
hostel
staff
came
in
at
3
am
and
told
her
she
couldn’t
leave
until
she
found
her
key.
I
had
two
girls
in
my
room
who
constantly
opened
my
curtains
and
shook
me
awake
because
I
was
snoring,
and
when
I
asked
reception
to
move
ME,
they
said
no
they
would
move
the
girls.
I
showed
back
up
8
hours
later
and
the
girls
were
still
there
unmoved
and
they
proceeded
to
yell
at
me
and
tell
me
not
to
snore
(sorry
can’t
turn
that
off),
so
I
told
the
front
desk
and
the
front
desk
proceeded
to
kick
me
out
of
my
room
and
put
me
into
another
room
while
housekeeping
stood
over
my
shoulder
and
rushed
me
out.
All
of
which
could
have
been
avoided
if
they
had
moved
me
when
I
asked
that
morning.
For
reference
I
asked
to
move
rooms
at
9
am
and
I
was
kicked
out
at
5
pm.
Nothing
was
done
to
the
girls
who
kept
touching
me.
But
hostel
staff
had
the
audacity
to
beg
me
not
to
leave
when
I
went
to
a
different
hotel
for
the
night.
As
other
people
have
said
the
hostel
has
a
mosquito
problem.
I
stayed
at
other
hotels
twice
during
my
stay
(no
running
water
and
after
the
girl
problems)
and
I
had
no
issues
at
those
hotels.
Hostel
staff
open
windows
when
cleaning
and
my
legs
got
torn
to
shreds
while
I
was
sleeping.
Yes
I
put
mosquito
spray
on
but
by
the
time
I
woke
up
it
was
worn
off.
(Pics
below)
I
was
in
a
female
only
dorm,
and
the
amount
of
times
men
ended
up
in
my
dorm
was
annoying.
The
first
week
I
was
there
there
were
no
curtains,
and
I
was
asleep
in
my
underwear,
and
girls
brought
men
in
to
hook
up
in
the
bathroom
and
they
ogled
me
in
my
underwear.
The
music
is
so
loud
that
you
can
hear
it
word
for
word
up
on
the
fourth
floor,
they
blast
loud
music
all
night
and
then
the
cleaning
staff
gets
up
super
early
and
are
loud
in
the
morning,
so
if
you
want
to
sleep
good
luck.
(Another
video
below,
I
keep
receipts)
Rooms
are
dirty
and
the
bathroom
door
needs
to
be
closed
at
all
times
because
it
smells
so
bad
like
a
port-a
potty.
And
the
WiFi
doesn’t
work
in
most
rooms.
Sorry
for
the
long
review,
but
basically
what
I’m
getting
at
is
if
you
want
any
sleep
whatsoever,
any
privacy
and
don’t
want
to
be
eaten
alive
by
mosquitos
or
have
people
throw
up
all
over
your
stuff
stay
away.
If
you
want
to
get
blackout
drunk,
and
hook
up
with
someone
in
a
bathroom,
who
possibly
has
an
STD
(guy
in
my
husbands
dorm
bragged
about
having
an
STD)
this
is
the
place
for
you.
I’ve
stayed
at
hostels
all
over
the
world,
some
for
long
stays
like
this
one,
and
this
is
by
far
the
worst
experience
I’ve
ever
ever
had.
And
for
those
of
you
wondering
why
I
stayed
for
so
long
and
put
up
with
so
much,
I
could
not
afford
to
rebook
all
of
my
Mad
Monkey
stays,
unfortunately,
we
had
a
golden
ticket
and
had
three
months
worth
of
stays
booked
at
Mad
Monkey.
It
was
either
deal
with
it,
or
go
back
home
and
lose
out
on
a
whole
six-month
trip.
If
I
could’ve
checked
out
day
one
I
would
have.
I’ve
attached
photos
and
videos.
