I
had
a
peaceful
4
night
stay
at
Siamotif
and
would
stay
here
again.
The
hotel
is
located
in
a
residential
area
away
from
the
bustle
and
noise
of
the
city
center,
which
was
preferred.
The
nearby
MRT
is
well
connected
to
other
parts
of
the
city
and
a
short
walk
from
the
hotel.
Grab
cars
and
taxis
are
also
plentiful.
The
hotel
staff
are
kind
and
made
us
feel
welcomed
and
comfortable,
sharing
recommendations
for
siteseeing,
night
markets,
and
also
helping
arrange
a
private
longtail
boat
ride
down
the
river
to
temples
and
floating
markets.
Daily
homemade
breakfast
was
a
highlight,
and
we
missed
it
while
traveling
through
other
parts
of
Thailand.
The
dining
area
itself
is
a
beautiful
centerpiece
of
the
hotel
and
opens
out
to
the
riverfront.
Local
places
to
eat
are
mostly
street
carts
and
a
few
restaurants
located
right
outside
the
MRT
station.
We
liked
the
Xin
Xian
hot
pot
spot
in
the
area
and
the
nearby
Indy
Pinklao
market
recommended
by
the
hotel.
Dinner
is
also
available
at
the
hotel,
which
was
convenient
and
delicious
especially
since
we
arrived
later
in
the
evening
on
our
first
day.
The
2
of
us
stayed
in
the
Celadon
room,
which
was
just
enough
room
as
we
only
needed
a
place
to
sleep
rather
than
to
work
in
or
hang
out.
A
cool
room
feature
was
the
ladder
leading
to
the
upper
deck
where
we
could
watch
longtail
boats
sail
down
the
river.
The
hotel
is
a
renovated
classic
teak
wood
home,
so
some
sounds
come
through
the
walls
and
windows.
However,
we
slept
well
through
each
night.
If
you're
considering
staying
here,
keep
in
mind
you
will
pass
by
locals
homes
through
the
alley
to
get
to
and
from
the
hotel.
We
felt
intrusive
at
first,
but
a
"sawadee
kha/khap"
and
a
smile
went
a
long
way.
I
highly
recommend
Siamotif
and
hope
to
be
back
soon.
