My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! It has so much charm and is a true gem in the middle of Bangkok. Our room was so clean, the staff members were SO friendly and kind, and the breakfast was wonderful. It was also a close drive to anything we wanted to do in the city. This place is a true treasure! Highly recommend :)

I was the 1st guest after covid-19 months and 1st guest for the new renovated room. I had such a great time to stay here and chill. The hotel is located with local neighborhood and it’s rare to find this unique environment place in Bangkok. I recommended to someone like to getaway from the city center, and would appreciate this Thai traditional house. Lovely Thai style breakfast ! Friendly staffs and she has 3 cute cats, I will come back again:)

We've stayed here twice now and will stay again. Each visit of several nights was a perfect bookend to a 7 week jaunt around SE Asia. Beautiful staff and premises from which to meander and explore some splendid parts of the city. Plenty of delicious food nearby. Friendly locals.Tastefully refined, luxurious, safe, and homely place. Loved it!

Bangkok is a notoriously large, noisy and congested city that can be overwhelming for travelers. So when researching lodging, I looked for a place that would provide some respite from the hustle and bustle. I definitely found it in the five nights we stayed here. Room: we stayed in the Celadon Room. It was lovely, though a bit smaller than I expected based on the pictures. We made ample use of our deck overlooking the canal, but be aware that it requires climbing up a ladder. The decor was very attractive and the shower more than adequate. WiFi and electrical outlets were freely available and worked well. Location: let me put to rest any fears about being outside of the city center. The MRT (which we didn't use) is nearby, as are the sang taews (shared taxis; 12 cents American per person). Best of all, Grab works beautifully here, and we could go anywhere in the city for a few dollars. We loved staying on the canal, and while the canal boats were noisy and started early we weren't bothered by them at all. There are no upscale restaurants nearby, but several food stalls and hole in the wall restaurants are with very easy walking distance. Food: this was an unexpected highlight. The traditional Thai breakfast was delicious and a bit different every day. We also ate dinner here twice and were very happy. Staff: another highlight. Jackie, the manager, cook and general factotum deserves special mention, but every interaction we had with staff was delightful. Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

Hidden gem in Bangkok. Amazing boutique hotel in front of one of the canals, with friendly staff that will make your stay as in a 5-star hotel. Our room was impressive and bed was the most comfortable one in a long time. Please, please, please…book it and go! You won’t regret it!

Fantastic little hotel with great staff. All seven rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The common room at the riverside was a great place to watch river life like fishes and long tail boats. Sappaya Café close by offered great food and drinks.

A delightful little hotel - we loved our stay and only wished we could have stayed longer! Kind hospitality, delicious food, beautiful rooms, and a calm atmosphere - this place felt like an oasis in the bustle and noise of Bangkok. Truly, a gem! Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Lovely hotel. Quiet, great breakfast, spotlessly clean, great staff. Access to the MRT train makes it more convenient than it appears at first glance.

Looking for a small hotel in Bangkok, with a nice balcony, close to the water and nice staff? Look no further. Maii is an excellent host and her family are all very nice. We went there the first time two weeks ago and just booked a room there. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Siamotif hotel. An idyllic space to relax while watching daily life on one of Bangkok's canals. The staff was uniquely kind and helpful. Our room, charcoal, one of the best hotel rooms we have ever stayed in, with very comfortable beds. We had dinner at the hotel as well, and it was freshly prepared and very tasty. The breakfast was varied, delicious and plentiful. Everything was perfect during our stay, and it was the best way for us to end our vacation in Thailand. We hope one day to be able to return and enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the place.

This gorgeous home was on my list of hotels I had to visit no matter what when I was in Bangkok and it did not disappoint. It’s tucked away in the alley and backs up right to the canal which is lively and exciting in the day and one of the quietest and peaceful spots in the city at night. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfy, and well taken care of. The multi course homemade breakfast was delicious and they were generous with coffee. But, the main draw to Siamotif is the wonderful family that runs the place. They are so kind, so sweet, and helpful. My biggest regret is I only had one night here. I say come check it out, settle in, and stay a few days to unwind. Great place to end a Thailand trip.

This hotel is so beautiful. The rooms are unique and gorgeously painted, and have comfy beds and great showers. A serene escape among the busy city. Right near the metro so it's easy to get anywhere. And, if you do have any questions, the host family is happy to help. Can't imagine staying anywhere else. Plus, the breakfast is always refreshing, tasty and big

This place is amazing. The house is beautiful and the staff take care of you like family. We can’t wait to find our way back to Bangkok just so we can stay at Siamotif again!

We had an incredible 5 night stay at this hotel. Situated in a peaceful Bangkok neighbourhood with convenient access to the metro, our experience was truly amazing. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful canal view from our room balcony and the traditional breakfast. This place made our stay truly unforgettable!

I have just returned from a week long trip to Bangkok staying at this truly amazing little gem with my wife. Our room looked over the canal with two little balconies perfect for viewing the world go buy with a cold beer after a day sightseeing. We stayed in October very hot and humid and to have a quiet cool retreat to return to made the trip for us. I loved this place for many reasons in no particular order. 1. Quiet and away from all the tourist, tourist merchandise and services in an undeveloped Thai suburb. 2. There are only 5 rooms in a traditional Thai timber building with beautiful attention to detail, gardens and comfort. 3. The staff are incredibly attentive and authentic in their desire to serve. 4. The food is the best in Bangkok and I can say this with authority as it's my fifth trip. 5 Close to the MRT and public transport. 6.Its not a modern soulless western style hotel with overpriced everything. 7 The air con worked great, the bed was soft, the shower hot and fabulous value for money. Im going to say here its important to know this is not a modern western hotel so don't expect it to be, its an authentic Thai experience run by local Thais. Breakfast is what's made that day and different every day. Things may not happen like clockwork but you will be served beautifully when they do. Ten stars and more.

This place was great! We stayed for a few nights and the staff was very attentive throughout. We got in a bit late and they made us dinner. They provided a tasty breakfast everyday. They even helped get us a private boat to do a canal tour. Will definitely stay here any time I come to Bangkok.

We were in awe of the place the second we walked in. It’s authentic look and feel was everything we could have asked for and more. The staff were soooo lovely, and they made us an incredible dinner on the first night. I highly recommend you try the food, it was really something. We were then shown around our room. WOW is the only word I really have to describe the whole place. If you are staying in Bangkok you NEED to stay here even if it’s only one night! We loved our stay soooo much.

I had a peaceful 4 night stay at Siamotif and would stay here again. The hotel is located in a residential area away from the bustle and noise of the city center, which was preferred. The nearby MRT is well connected to other parts of the city and a short walk from the hotel. Grab cars and taxis are also plentiful. The hotel staff are kind and made us feel welcomed and comfortable, sharing recommendations for siteseeing, night markets, and also helping arrange a private longtail boat ride down the river to temples and floating markets. Daily homemade breakfast was a highlight, and we missed it while traveling through other parts of Thailand. The dining area itself is a beautiful centerpiece of the hotel and opens out to the riverfront. Local places to eat are mostly street carts and a few restaurants located right outside the MRT station. We liked the Xin Xian hot pot spot in the area and the nearby Indy Pinklao market recommended by the hotel. Dinner is also available at the hotel, which was convenient and delicious especially since we arrived later in the evening on our first day. The 2 of us stayed in the Celadon room, which was just enough room as we only needed a place to sleep rather than to work in or hang out. A cool room feature was the ladder leading to the upper deck where we could watch longtail boats sail down the river. The hotel is a renovated classic teak wood home, so some sounds come through the walls and windows. However, we slept well through each night. If you're considering staying here, keep in mind you will pass by locals homes through the alley to get to and from the hotel. We felt intrusive at first, but a "sawadee kha/khap" and a smile went a long way. I highly recommend Siamotif and hope to be back soon.

We live in Bangkok and did a one-day staycation at Siamotif. The charcoal room is beautifully decorated, with lots of wood, a nice bed and superclean. The location next to the river is very relaxing to enjoy a drink while the night falls over the river. The hosts are extremely friendly, they can take you on a bicycle tour if you like, though the rain kept us from doing a tour. Finally, the morning breakfast was perfect. An ideal getaway to relax in Bangkok.

Lovely little wooden hotel on the water, delightful staff, delicious food. Ask for a bigger room. Celadon room was pretty but small with not enough places to put belongings. Climb a ladder to a private deck over the water! Very cool.

We Only stayed one night unfortunately, but we had a very nice experience with the super nice staff. The hotel is very cute, and in a good location for site seeing. We had dinner there, like eating at home (a Thai one ;) the views to the river are very relaxing. They were so nice to our kids. Would recommend

This was an absolutely lovely place to land after we flew into Bangkok. The staff were lovely and the breakfasts were the best introduction to Thailand we could have hoped for. We especially loved the magical sunrise from the small deck we had overlooking the canal. I would happily stay again and would recommend anyone. They also helped us book our first massage at a temple close the hotel. If you are looking for a magical place don't hesitate to book.

This hotel was such a great find!!! It is right on the river and they have such a great communal area to share a drink with others in the evening or coffee in the morning. They make an incredible Thai breakfast every morning that was some of the best food we had and even made us dinner one night when we were too tired to go out. The owner and staff are SO friendly and always willing to help us with advice. Location was in a more local area and about a 40 minute walk to main tourist area which we were happy to do after flying 24 hours to be there! We are so glad to have stayed here and will recommend to others!

Fantastic place to stay. Our first hotel in Thailand, and could not have wished for a better start. The proprietors are friendly and knowledgeable. Their advice should be trusted, especially regarding local restaurants and food stalls. The ambience in the breakfast area is wonderful. Even with some noise from the riverboats, it is a great place to relax. I miss Siamotif. The attention to detail in construction and decoration makes the place quite special. There are almost no downsides to this hotel, perhaps except for location. Bangkok is large, and depending on your plans the distance can be a challenge.

I love this place. I am very lucky to meet this kinds of hidden place. Nice atmosphere and quiet emvironment. Friendly staff. Warm welcome. Nostalgic room. I could touch river side culture in Bangkok. I could feel relax. Release the stress. Thank you very much.

Most wonderful home away from home, tucked away in a quiet spot of town with easy access to all sights in the city. The owner was lovely and made us feel at home and the breakfast was amazing! We will be back.

Siamotif Boutique Hotel is a hidden gem in Bangkok! We keep coming back to this "home away from home". The warm welcome and service from K. Maii, K. Toon and staff are amazing! Breakfast is just unique and delicious and one of the highlights of our stay!

If you want a taste of the real Bangkok away from the tourist area this is definitely the spot. Super friendly staff in this small (5 room??) hotel. Great Thai breakfast and you are in the middle of a serene residential neighborhood. The top spots like Wat Arum are easy to get to. It is easy to get to the express river ferry from here. Love this place. Relaxing and peaceful.

We stayed three nights in February 2019 - totally made our stay in Bangkok. We loved coming back here every night from the chaotic City. Loved the neighborhood, be sure to walk around and hang out some and graciously accept all the advise of the staff, especially regarding public transportation - and use the free bikes!

We just had four terrific days and nights in Bangkok. The place is extremely clean and the staff extremely attentive. A relaxing and quiet oasis. Knowledgeable and helpful host’s. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, loved the variety and pace. Great location and easy to use all of the transportation options. Kudo’s to Mai and her staff! My daughter and I would definitely recommend. The Ban Bu area is a short walk and a great area to experience, don’t miss the metal workers.

We stayed for two days. We loved everything about it. The view, the hospitality, and the location. We stayed in the charcoal room. The view was beautiful. The hospitality was perfect. We were served an amazing Thai breakfast every morning, with a view. We were secluded so there was no noise but, it was so easy to go into the city and explore. I definitely recommend staying here. Definitely will be going back. Thank you for a beautiful getaway!
