Great place to train, lovely family run gym and suitable for all abilities. Planned on Just doing one session for fitness and did every 2 days for 2 weeks it was such a good workout and 300bhat a class. Great place and will miss it when I'm leaving the area

Great fight training. Don't let the look turn you away, Saman and his son are pro fighters having won many titles and bouts. The mat is in good condition and the ring has good tension and not bouncy. The personalized training is excellent while the group classes in the mornings and evenings are not as crowded so you'll get good attention from the pro fighters and good technique review. They're always ready to train and train with a fun positive tempo.

Excellent spot to practice/learn Muay Thai. It was so good that even after I moved away from the area I took taxis back to continue my learning. They offer classes twice daily, 730-930ish in the morning and 430-630ish in the evening. They also offer private lessons from 9-3ish. The classes start off with some warm-up and conditioning and then move on to Muay Thai skills, and finish with a warm-down and stretching.

Absolutely wonderful family run gym. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The coaches are brilliant, really friendly, and with great attention to detail. Classes are small so you get a lot of personal coaching on pads, plus plenty of relaxed style sparring with the coaches. My sons aged 12 & 8 also trained here with me and were treated so well. If you are staying in the Crystal Bay area, 100% come visit Saman Muay Thai.

Excellent gym. They really give you the full yet friendly muay thai experience. Expect to sweat and to have fun! The coach is very knowledgeable and will guide you throughout the session. I highly recommend it!

The best gym in my opinion on the island. Never too busy so you get quality attention from the coaches. It's friendly, fun and one hell of a workout with these guys! They tailor to all levels and usually do 4 rounds of very light sparring if you want. All in all sessions are well-rounded. Love it.

Iv'e trained at a lot of gyms in Thailand and my own country and I would say Samans is one of if not the best. It's always a really good laugh and has a great atmosphere. Saman and his sons are top notch Muay Thai coaches and taught me tonnes in a short amount of time.

My fiancee and I just spent 1 month training at the Saman Muay Thai club. We absolutely loved it! It is an authentic and family owned gym, led by champions. The instructors will teach all level students with great care and undivided attention. They are kind people who are serious about Muay Thai but who also know how to have fun and laugh 😄. The view of the mountains from the ring is definitely a cool feature. I highly recommend the Saman Muay Thai club.
