Tastiest vegetarian Japanese food I've ever had. I've always thought it was a challenge to make veg Japanese dishes, given their usual complexity and the omnipresence of meat. And yet, Veg Japan succeeded in making it a tasty reality. Please go there and try their incredible tofu katsu! Bonus points for the staff who is nice and friendly, giving good advice. Thank you!

Authentic Japanese flavour. Rarely see vegetarian Japanese restaurant in Bangkok. The service and the flavour are so impressive. The aubergine, mooli, and Tofu Katsu Don are sooo amazing!!! Black Sesame Pudding is another blast! Btw, this is a LGBT friendly restaurant!

The food was very good and there was something for everyone on the menu. The staff are very friendly and take great care in dealing with customers. I have been there several times and will go again. If you love vegetarians and care about your health, this is the place to eat.

A fully vegetarian restaurant with a very clear labelling system to indicate exactly what each food category is. Vegetarian/vegan/lacto vegetarian, etc. Before we even ordered we were planning to go back and eat again because the selection is so vast. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, with great flavours & so fresh. Definitely recommend this place.

A delightful vegan/vegetarian restaurant in a rather off-central district in Bangkok. Wasn't expecting much as the shop was rather quiet on a Saturday evening, but the dishes really blew me away! Most importantly, the different types of vegan dishes were clear marked out, and for oriental vegetarians who are unable to take allium will be able to find plenty of choices here too. The soba soup was light but flavourful, and the mock meat had a chewy almost meat-like texture. The brinjal side dish was delicately marinated and oozing unami with every bite. Brought a sushi bento back for late-night supper and was also pleasantly surprised by the different variety. Highly recommended!

Japanese style- vegetable restaurant on Chan Road. We ordered big roll, aubergine in dashi, tofu katsudon, and 2 tofu dishes. They taste amazing. My favourites are vegetable roll and tofu katsudon. The serving portion is bigger than other restaurants in BKK. Highly recommend even for non-vegetarian!

the food is very nice and good quality. Definitely most authentic and carefully made veg japanese food in town. The owner and staff is friendly. They even have choices for vegetarian, vegan, Indian vegetarian. We had sushi , udon, and sesame homemade pudding. Price is reasonable, definitely worth coming back.

Excellent food and service. It’s the one and only pure vegetarian Japanese (versus fusion) restaurant in Bangkok. Affordable price too. They also ensure no fish and alcohol ingredients are used in all the sauces, which Japanese food lovers will know this is not easy task!
