Showed

just
wanted
to
drink
local
whiskey
and
play
pool.
A
small
woman
with
glasses
who
worked
there
pretended
that
she
knew
me
as
soon
as
I
showed
up.
Lots
of
talk
just
so
she
could
ask
me
to
buy
her
a
drink.
Ok,
I
went
with
it
just
to
put
out
a
good
vibe.
That’s
on
me.
I
know
I’m
a
target
as
a
SWM
in
that
area
so
I
expect
it.
I
played
pool.
Some
of
the
patrons
I
met
there
were
cool
but
they
didn’t
stick
around
for
long.
The
pool
table
was
lumpy
and
I
could
see
my
ball
wiggle
down
the
felt
when
I
hit
it
slowly.
The
problem
that
I
have
is
when
I’m
already
kind
enough
to
agree
to
purchase
you
a
drink
yet
you
still
add
on
more
to
my
end
bill.
Don’t
bite
the
hand
that
feeds
you.
I
already
checked
my
tab
and
summed
it
up
before.
When
I
said
that
I
needed
her
to
take
the
extras
off
she
just
gave
me
a
stupid
smile
and
said
nothing.
I
kept
it
up
for
a
while
but
still
the
same
stupid
smile.
Anyway,
I
paid
the
bill
but
I
won’t
be
going
back
there.
My
two
servings
of
Sangsom
and
2
games
of
pool
cost
me
as
much
as
2
700ml
bottles
of
Sangsom
at
7-11.
I’m
living
in
Bangkok
now
and
this
is
the
only
bar
that
has
done
this
to
me
so
far.
Another
bar
with
a
pool
table
is
called
Blue
Boar
(or
something
like
this)
on
soi
18.
They
have
a
pool
table
too
and
they’ve
never
tried
to
rip
me
off.
If
you
want
to
play
pool,
go
there.
If
you’re
just
looking
for
a
dive
bar,
lots
exist
and
I’ve
never
been
ripped
off
by
any
of
them
either.
Soi
Cowboy
(nearby)
might
have
a
worse
reputation
based
on
what
I’ve
heard
so
maybe
go
at
least
another
block
farther
for
a
general
dive
bar.
