Please don’t visit this place, I heard a lot of dogs barking so went to investigate, the place is used as a puppy farm!!! Young Beagles, Alsatians, Labrador all in pens and crates. A woman became very angry towards me when I tried to console one of the puppies which was shaking!

From the youtube video are better looking than actual one. I visited many Chinese Thai old places. There have big garden in the middle of house. I don’t know it’s interesting for Thai people but nothing. No need to visit.

(Translated by Google) Very disappointed with this place. All carers speak badly, no service mind. Very bad. Recommended if anyone is going here, you must be mindful, mindful, and focus, read the warning signs and follow everything. Otherwise, you will be scolded, noisy, and noticed. The date I went was scolded many times and there were many people who traveled together. Well, if the mind is not strong enough, I definitely do not recommend going here !!! Personally, he probably won't go anymore because he doesn't support the use of harsh words. P.S. I really don't want to give a star at all. Stick where it must be posted. Remember to give 😭😭😭 (Original)

Old historical mansion around vibrant street art. Hope they can restore more parts of the place because it has its own charms. No entrance fee but you need to order something from the kitchen.

Antique Chinese architecture is located near Chaophaya river in Talad Noi, local market of Bangkok. Here is opened as a scuba diving school and for free to learning antique Chinese house style which is difficult to see in this time. Don’t forget to buy some drinks to help owner for house renovation.

The place is the most popular attraction to the tourists with the 200 years old Chinese style house. With not well maintained and preserved of the building, tourists should be aware themselves of their risk. 50 baht for entrance fee. If spend 100 baht for soft drinks, free for entrance fee.

It's nice but there are two dogs in cages and I think they should give them water. The dogs were without water. Just put a bowl with water in their cage.

One of the very old Chinese complex in Thailand. You can have a look around or go up the corridor upstairs if you order one drink from them. The revenue will go to maintenance of the place, which is fair enough. The condition of the mansion is quite poor as they cannot afford full restoration which is a shame. The owner is usually there and is willing to answer your questions. Worth a visit. Very historical and charming.

Dirty run down old place. Many more clean comfortable old Chinese houses to visit that have been beautifully restored. Shame about this one. As a scuba diver I thought the pool may be interesting but the green stagnant water just adds to the air of neglect and disrepair. Walked 20 minutes to get here but didn’t bother stopping for a drink

(Translated by Google) Chewy old coffee shop, very classic place Coffee price is also expensive. In line with Talat Noi. Keep walking in the alley Found a big red door. Or ask the local people to see Inside the shop, there is a worshiping pool in the middle of the house. There are a lot of photo spots, but we will find a corner. There is really not much to see about the place but if you fascinate with old ancient chinese building, then here is a place for a short visit. The place offers coffee and drink service while you can take a moment to enjoy the atmosphere or have a quick walk around the building. The place also offered diving lessons. More photos, visit facebook : GunniAday

(Translated by Google) The place is okay. The drink price is too expensive. Not worth the quality as the price Order a bakery, think that you will get a piece of a cup, 75 baht, the quality is like buying 25 per piece at the market, not delicious at all. Being included is not okay. A mansion with almost 239 yrs history, sitting inside is like sitting in a museum. You can feel free to take photos in the front or the first floor around the poor but have to buy a cup of drink or ice cream in order to get upstairs.... well, it’s totally worth it.

Good place to cool you down in hot day. This cafe is quite nice. Most clients are foreigner. You can sit on the second floor of the house. If you would like to study diving, come to this place then. Coffee is ok. The house is clean and good to walk around. Nice to visit there.

An historic Chinese mansion near the river. Beautiful entry with wall paintings with unique features. Unfortunately in a very poor state. This mansion deserves a thorough restoration, which will go beyond financial possibilities of present owners. Government should help to maintain one of the rare Chinese mansions in Bangkok and preserve its history. Mansion can be visited for free. One can sit around to absorb the quiet of the house with a drink. Unfortunately the master attraction - their ancestor hall - is not accessible nor can be viewed. In order to help maintenance, the owner has installed a scuba diving pool in the courtyard, which takes away the original sight of the place. Also the original rooftiles have been given away to a Chinese temple in Pukhet! Leaving the house with a concrete substitution. Still, the mansion has its charm and worthwhile a visit. It is presently not on the tourist map and hidden in a small street. The house is described in the book "Chinese Houses in South East Asia".

Nice place to stop and have a coffee while visiting the Talad Noi art alleys. The coffee shop is set in an old Chinese style mansion. The house is like a museum, very raw, the real thing. You can imagine how people lived here in the past. Also great for photos.

Such a disgrace, a ruin without love or care. So much potential. The entry fee is ridiculous since it allows to go upstairs, where everything is locked. Or you could buy a drink, but it is so dirty that we didn't want to risk our health. No English speaking.

That place hurts my heart too much. How it's possible that such a place has become like this? After speaking with the owner, I understood that he was not a businessman. So to go in and visit the house, where there is nothing to see, you must buy a drink or an ice cream. That starts from 50 baht. This house will end up in ruins in a few years!!

Good concept, beautiful building but poor service execution. Everything is self order and pick up but staff are never at order counter and nobody to clear dirty tables from previous customers. Should have 1 staff to take care of this. With few service adjustmenta this has great potential.

Nice honey lemon tea and crispy brownie snacks. Staff brought upstairs for us. Service was excellent but atmosphere is what this place is about. So glad to see the history being preserved in this 239 year old mansion built on ancient Chinese palace architecture principles. Fans set all around the upstairs so you feel fresh while you absorb the history and beautiful woodwork of this place.

An hidden gem in Talad Noi Walk area... 200 years old Mansion converted in Scuba Academy. Owner is very kind to describe you the history of the mansion. You need to pay for a drink if you want to take picture of the inside, which make sense and cheers you up from the hot weather!

An awesome cultural experience. Stepping into the courtyard is stepping into the past of Chinatown and with it the birth of Bangkok. It's also the home of X'plorers Beagles, the cutest bundles of joy. The best way to explore the largest Chinatown in the world. Stop by and enjoy some coffee or tea at the cafe there too.

Ancient Chinese mansion in Talat Noi neighborhood. You can either pay the access fee, or buy a drink or ice-cream to have it in one of the upper floor's tables. It's not super-well maintained, but it's somehow charming and a good place to rest for some minutes before continuing exploring.
