Rooms are small, not good sound proof, the AC is noisy all the time. I had change my room 3 times during my stay. 99% guests are Indian who are rude, impolite. The worst breakfast ever. Check in - check out is like hell extremely slow. Only the location is good. Thats all! Never choose this hotel again.

If you would like a good sleep, don’t stay here. Very noisy throughout the night and morning from 5am. Dated/tired hotel, but the price reflects this so no surprise on this front. Breakfast is heavy on Indian dishes which accommodates for the main customer base…. All the staff were nice (no question of how our stay was at check out) probably know the answer already.

I had a fantastic stay at the Ambassador Hotel recently. I was greeted warmly when I checked in and was treated really well during my 3 night stay at the hotel. The staff were prompt when I called room service and spoke English really well. My room was spacious and it had all the amenities I required. The bed was super comfortable and I heard no noise from the busy street outside. Thanks again to all the staff for treating me like a VIP during my stay. I can't wait to come back to Bangkok and stay here again.

Not recommended. Stayed three nights. Location: 4/5. Probably the only good thing about this hotel. However, if you want to do only shopping at Bkk, I would recommend to stay at Pratunam area. Too much traffic around this hotel area. Staff and Service: 1/5. Very poor. Waited more than one hour for check in. No luggage carrying service during check in or check out. We called for the service, waited but no one showed up. Room service lady opened our door without knocking and we were really surprised as we were inside. Horrible. Rooms: 1/5. Dirty, small, smelly. Pool: 1/5. If your height is below 6 feet you will not be able to use the pool because of the depth of the pool. Food: We stayed three nights. We found more or less same breakfast every morning. No variety. I will never recommend to stay in this hotel. You will find better hotels in this price range.

Such a nice, clean, organized hotel. the prices are reasonable and always on discounts. The location of the hotel is perfect for me as almost everything I need is available within few Km or less than a kilometer you can find restaurants near by, malls, markets, stores, train is few kilometers away but not far from the hotel which is amazing. I Highly recommend visiting the hotel if you're in the area looking for a reasonable ticket price.

Overall, this is a decent hotel. However, I can't believe what I have just seen. A old nasty board in the middle of hotel passage. It is blocking the hotel's guest walkway and looks unpleasant. How does the hotel of this respected calibre permits and allows this... This sign board from Merit's tailor spoils the whole ambience of Ambassador hotel, makes the hotel look cheap and desperate. Due to this I've to give a 1 star review :(

The rooms were too dark. I wish there was some lights above like a normal room. Staff were great and helpful. However better not call front desk and just go to it yourself for issues because they don't answer. Location is both amazing and terrible. In the central location so next to all the clubs and next to the BTS. However I was disappointed with the clientele of the hotel. Also the hotel should do something of the Indian food service on its premises. I don't want to get catcalled to buy Indian food every time I walk across it.

For a “4 star” hotel, it does not live up to expectations. The hotel rooms are old, dingy, and seem to need a lot of work. The beds are pretty firm & feel like a bed you’d find in a motel. The walls in the rooms are paper thin and you can hear everyone in the halls. You can also hear the restaurant’s live music like it’s inside your room. So if you’re a light sleeper, I highly recommend finding an alternative location. On the plus side, the hotel is pretty centrally located & near the train station. The staff is also very friendly.

I stay during my quarantine. The place is old n Pretty ruined by time. Operator’s communication needs to be improved. I was disappointed by the misinformation. Sorry for honest review.

It's a nice hotel with all amenities in the heart of the city. Very close to Nana sky train station and plenty of Indian restaurants nearby. Most importantly, in this part of city people do understand English! In other parts, it's so difficult to communicate as mostly people around in shops and restaurants only speak and understand Thai!! Staff in the hotel are courteous. Rooms in Tower Wing are spacious. A good range of options for breakfast.

The best hotel in the heart of Bangkok For our first day in Bangkok, we wanted to stay in it heart to soak in the vibes of its vibrant night life, so we chose Ambassador hotel in Sukhumvit Area of Bangkok. We are glad we chose Ambassador hotel as it is such an amazing place to start your trip to Thailand with especially when you are traveling with family. Equipped with all the modern amenities and comfort, the Ambassador hotel is a 4 star property. Right from the lobby to the rooms, it's grandeur is something our family loved. Our parents stayed in their suit room and it is their best experience of staying in a hotel so far. The ambience of the rooms, their services, the facilities - everything is top notch. The best thing we loved is the view of Bangkok from the windows of our rooms. How can someone take their eyes off such a view. Their breakfast buffet was amazing. We are vegetarians and requested them beforehand over email for a vegetarian meal and they took good care of it. It is at a walking distance from Nana Plaza which is one of the most vibrant areas of Bangkok. As we and our family had an amazing time here, Ambassador hotel is totally recommended from our side.

Never ever book this hotel again. The bed sheet and bathroom are very dirty, and bugs on carpets. Checkin and checkout very long line waiting, but they don’t put more people work in the front. Service also bad, they don’t care if you are complain about the or not.

Spent 2 weeks here while attending to health stuff at Bumrungrad. The rooms were comfortable enough, the staff pleasant. The breakfast was better than most included hotel breakfasts. Maybe it was due to the large percentage of guests from Indian, more often than not, half the breakfast consisted of curries, naan, vindaloo and chapati. Which though delicious, can limit your choices for a morning meal. The pool is ok. The gym looks a little homemade, the treadmills work well enough. Side tip: I went to the front desk and they wanted a certain amount per night. I quickly checked Agoda and found it 33% cheaper. I asked the front desk if I could just pay this amount directly to them. And they said it’s ok to use Agoda. Strange. But whatever. Definitely double check.

I stay at the Ambassador Hotel Bangkok for my one week quarantine. I had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and spacious. Even though I was isolated in my room, they made it easy to communicate with staff via room telephone, and setting up Line (social media app) for the nurse, the kitchen, and the front desk. I was so impressed by the food. They had an international menu and an Indian menu, the second of which featured many vegetarian options. Everything was delicious! I ordered all of my meals on the first day, and each meal was delivered to my door. Halfway through the week, the Indian kitchen closed because I was the only guest ordering from it. However, not many of the meals on the international menu were vegetarian so the kitchen stayed open just for me! They were so sweet, and provided an extra entree to make sure I was full. My only complaint about the food, was that breakfast was scheduled at 8:00 a.m. but sometimes didn't come until 9:00. They have a convenience store that you can order from for extra snacks or toiletries. I ordered on line and items were brought to my door. The charge was added to my room bill. The room featured a safe, refrigerator, hot water heater, desk, and full body mirror. In my opinion the bed was a little hard but I made due. I had three pillows each and varying amounts of fluffiness. After a negative covid test, I was allowed to schedule time at the relaxing area. Their relaxing area was on the roof in the pool area, but unfortunately the pool was closed. I was so bummed I couldn't swim! Staff was very kind, friendly, and went and above and beyond to accommodate me. My next hotel was just down the street, and they helped me carry my bags over. I tipped the kitchen staff and the bellboy as best I could (I didn't have the opportunity to go to the ATM yet).

The hotel was very good.Location is perfect near the metro and bus stand and also nearby there are 3 seven eleven. The staff is alsp goo The location of was ideal, as it was conveniently situated near popular attractions, shopping areas, and transportation hubs. This allowed me to explore the city with ease, and at the end of each day, I was able to retreat to the tranquility and comfort of the hotel.

Total of 5 night stay I am writing this review on my 3rd day whilst staying here. Pros: Location Cleanliness Good spacious rooms Cons (details below): Bad service Extremely limited breakfast options for vegetarians Not good amenities in the room Room lighting No hot water in the bathroom post 11 pm No calls to housekeeping/reception answered when any issue at night time Towels are not clean Room cleaning/housekeeping - Service is extremely slow. Asked for fresh towels and got after 1.5 hours of follow up. Used spoons and mugs neither cleaned nor replaced with fresh ones during room cleaning, usdd towels not taken away, floor not swepped for anything fallen down Vegetarians - barely any options there for actual main breakfast items - have it or leave it - dal rice (rice too sticky), chole or aloo sabzi with naan (naan seems like a thin pizza bread - nowhere close to even a roti/any indian bread) Room amenities - Clothes Iron, Hair Dryer not provided in the room (these are basic things that even the most budget hotel provides these days) Not a single platw or bowl provided in the room to eat anything despite of a microwave being there - on asking for a plate and spoon, I was told this would be chargeable. - why have you kept the microwave then? For show? Extremely poor lit room - the lighting is so minimal that it gives you some feeling of blindness - impossible to function in the room post evening Dirty towels provided - so called clean fresh towels have random stains on them. Got 4-5 such towels in 5 days of my stay & housekeeping does not replace them when complained about this NO HOT WATER in the bathroom post 11 pm - multiple calls to reception and housekeeping to help with this proved futile. Eventually they deliberately stopped answering calls and I had to take bath in cold water I had lot of expectations from this hotel but already quite irritated on Day 3 (yet 2 days to check out) Advice - Look for better options for accommodation & safely avoid this place

Located in the heart of Nana, this hotel offers decent value for money. You’ll see lots of Indian and Chinese tourists choosing this hotel. I wasn’t very happy with the room they gave us… with huge windows, we could only see a wall. But besides that, the staff were friendly enough. One of the best things about Ambassador is the breakfast buffet. Easily the best I’ve seen anywhere. Walking around the hotel was also nice… it’s very unique in design.

Sleeping on streets is would be as same as sleeping in this horrible place. Poor customer service. Rooms are very old and smelly. I had to change my room three times, first room was very dirty and smelly, second room the AC didn’t work properly and third room the AC didn’t work as well but I got tired of fighting and going up and down and moving all my bags with me. Also the receptionist makes you feel like they give you something for free and you didn’t paid to get served. I asked for the manager on duty and she went back and came and told the manager is busy and she will come in 10 minutes and then another worker came and told me there is no manager on duty! so why the first one told me she is busy. Back up story, when I checked in at 3 PM I waited for 30 minutes to check in then they told me the system is getting updated and they don’t have my reservation so I’ll have to wait for another 30 minutes. Also, the wing side, which is the taller part of the hotel, is also old and smelly. One last thing, the roof is so short you could hit your head. Just save your money and stay somewhere else. This place doesn’t deserve to be called a hotel, surprisingly it’s a four star one! You could stay in 2 star hotel and it would be much better than this rubbish.

Stayed for 4 nights , the hotel is spacious and the main areas are well maintained. My room was on the cheaper end of the scale, and the decor on the floor was a little dated and will be need of refurbishment in the next few years, the usual things to note for a hotel of this age. Rooms were large and have a fridge and safety deposit box. Plenty of power points in good locations within the room. One thing to note is that the fridge doesn't remain powered on unless the key card is in the room slot. The bathroom was a little run down, the shower was slow to drain and there were several obvious repairs to the grout in the shower recess, although once again to be expected for the age. I had an issue with the TV and in room safe and the staff were very quick to come and rectify this. Short walk to the skytrain, plenty of dining locations within a short walk. Thanks to the staff for a great stay,

Loved the stay at Ambassador hotel, starting with the interior decor, hotel room service and breakfast all was top notch! Also one thing I loved the most was there was a bag weighing machine downstairs, for people who can check the weight of the bag before going to airport! 😁 Overall a pleasant stay! I would love to visit again! And is highly recommend this hotel!

A wonderful 4-star Hotel located in the heart of Bangkok at Sukhumvit Soi 11. Its in the area with bustling night life and street food market. Check in was smooth and fast. They charge 1000 Baht as a security deposit which is refunded at the time of check out. The staff is courteous and very helpful and always available for your service 24x7. Rooms are clean. Indian food is also available with plenty of options for vegetarians. Many good restaurants are in the vicinity. Dosaking, a pure vegetarian Indian restaurant is just 50 meters away. I stayed in this hotel for the second time, and will stay again on my next visit.

We have stayed here many times over the years. Excellent location. Close of Skytrain making going for sightseeing or shopping easy. It has pools, gym & spa . Excellent coffee shops and restaurant which stays open late. Compared to our previous visit housekeeping was a little shoddy but it was New Years and peak season. I hope they will be back to their efficient service.

Great place for a short stay. In our room the faucet of the shower was not working properly, making it difficult to set it at a decent temperature. The room could use more soundproofing, as people walking and talking in the hallway woke us up in the middle of the night. The room itself was fine, albeit a bit old fashionated with a 80s-90s interior.

You get what you pay for. It's not the nicest hotel, but it's an option to consider if you're on a budget. The rooms felt old and gloomy. The bathrooms were a little unclean. However, the location was great. It's on sukhumvit 11, which is very happening road. There's lots of cool bars and clubs nearby. It's very central to everything, including the metro which made getting around easier. We knew we wouldn't be spending a lot of time in our hotel, so that made up for it.

I stayed at the Ambassador Hotel for a week, and also organized a 3-day conference in the same hotel. I can only commend the kindness, professionalism, and competence of all the employees and especially Hathairat who assisted me with the organization of the event from start to finish and was always very kind and helpful no matter what time of day it was. The hotel is centrally located, well connected, and within walking distance of one of the main roads. It is equipped with all the amenities and has a wonderful inner courtyard. Both my and all my guests' (22 people) overnight stay went wonderfully, as did the entire event, with no hiccups or complications. The staff was always on time and willing to assist us, the conference room was always perfect as were the lunches and dinners. Again, thanks to all the staff at the Ambassador, my compliments. Definitely if I have to organize another event in Bangkok I will use the Ambassador again.

Title: Mixed Experience at the Hotel Rating: ★★☆☆☆ I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience overall. While there were certain positive aspects, there were also a number of issues that left me dissatisfied. Let's start with the positives. The location of the hotel was convenient, allowing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, which was definitely a plus. The staff members were friendly and helpful, doing their best to address any concerns we had during our stay. However, there were a few significant drawbacks that affected my overall impression. Firstly, the telephone in our room was not functioning, making it difficult to reach out to the reception for assistance. This lack of communication was frustrating and inconvenienced our entire stay. Another major disappointment was the breakfast experience. The management seemed unable to control the behavior of some ill-mannered guests who were using their hands directly in the food platters. This lack of hygiene was not only unappetizing but also a cause for concern. I expected the hotel to enforce proper dining etiquette and maintain a clean and pleasant breakfast environment. Lastly, the air conditioner in our room was painfully slow. With the temperatures rising outside, it took a significant amount of time for the room to cool down adequately. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy a comfortable sleep during our stay. In conclusion, while there were certain positives about this hotel, such as its convenient location, cleanliness, and friendly staff, the issues we encountered with the non-functional telephone, messy breakfast, and slow air conditioner were significant drawbacks. I hope that the hotel management takes these concerns into consideration and takes appropriate steps to improve the overall experience for their future guests.

The hotel is in desperate need for a renovation. Everything is kinda falling apart. The AC takes forever to start and works in its own mysterious ways.. we were offered no bell boy service and had to carry our luggage by ourselves. Barely any amenities.. no liquid soap. No vanity kit or sewing kit. The bathroom door lock wasn't working properly. They take very long to come to your service when you complain.. The location is very good and it's a large property so there isn't any noise from outside. There are good hotels for similar rates like grand president, so definitely consider other options.

This hotel is a very sad shell of it’s former grandeur. First night, I was served the absolutely the worst tuna sandwich I’ve ever had in my life, woke up to breakfast, and the ham had no flavor and tasted like rubber… switched to the Thai menu, and didn’t look back. The advertised common area on the third floor that looked promising when booked was closed, even though I was fully immunized and negative for COVID. The staff is a skeleton crew. While normally friendly enough, you can defiantly tell the military is heavily looking over everyone’s shoulders. This place feels like a prison, with better food. Can’t wait to be done with this.

Once it was a very good hotel that liked by almost all boarders. But their quality has deteriorated. Now rooms and lobbies are unclean, furniture are cranky. Drapes are dirty. Fittings are outdated. It requires huge renovation and change. Once its breakfast was the most desirable breakfast with wide varieties of foods. Now it is reminiscent of past.

Contact emails before arrival were not answered. The pool remains closed until further notice due to Corona (?), while other hotels keep their pool open. The service was virtually reduced to the bare essentials, the price was not. In the Tower Wing, the rooms were very well taken care of and cleaned. In this respect, the stay was pleasant.

The manager of the hotel is not able to answer to any emails. I called several time saying that I have a reservation, I’m coming as a tourist and I need the letter of entrance Thailand from them where they will include the pricing of the airport transfer and the PCR test in order to get my Thai pass. 3 days in a row he told me to call the next day because the reservations are not open. How can such a big hotel not have anyone to answer some standard emails? TERRIBLE! I truly would not trust this hotel services!

Stayed at a suite, cause my booked room was somehow occupied. So they upgraded me. Lobby is huge. Good place to sit and relax. But there is always a long queue in the concierge. They need more staff there. Breakfast is excellent. You have to try it. The hotel is on the one of the most happening streets of Bangkok. Literally thousands of restaurant, bar, cuisine options in 100 metre radius. Staff are cordial, helpful, courteous, and professional. This hotel is frequented by many people from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and some South asian countries.

We stayed there because of Thai govt rule of staying one night quarantine in selected hotels so we choose this hotel. Rooms and environment is great but we didn't receive much service. They hand us our meal in night on reception. The lift system was bit problematic cause you can only go to the floor where your room is we took 3 rooms which stat at 3 different floors so if we'd to meet we'd to come in reception.

NEVER THINK TO BOOK HERE !!! Let me describe, this june 2022 we made booking , then We went to hotel for check in at 3 Pm . The Receptionist in front desk was very rude with us and literally with every one ( long hair and long nail too ) he was very rude with us , firstly he was saying I can’t find your booking , then we show documents then he was telling wait he was speaking with us rudely and telling go and seat let me find . We was telling him we are on hurry need to go hospital. He was telling us keeps your bag in lobby and you guy’s can go . We told we supposed to check in 2 pm now 3 .. after behaving rudely he tooks 1 hour 20 min to make check in . Then lobby and whole hotel so dirty NOT LIKE PICTURES. After went to ROOM it’s like everything dirty not clean AIR CONDITION WAS not working. Then we call Front desk to fix or change our room . Then they someone to fix unfortunately they can’t it was same . The. We call again they was not responding was and saying sending someone they literally did like this till night 1 AM . Then we Call our booking Partner told everything they make us hold and they called hotel management, they was saying they can’t cancel our booking. After long conversation and negotiations they cancel our booking . Then at night 2 AM we went another hotel . MY HONEST REVIEW ‘’ DON’T Think ‘’ to Book with Them . You can find much better hotel with their price . Thanks

I visited Thailand with my Group of 25 Passengers, I normally booked Galleria 10 at Sukhmuvit Road, but this I tried to book Ambassador Hotel. This Experience cost me a lot due to multiple reasons 1. Very NON PROFESSIONAL Staff 2. Staff were very rude behavior even they charge for extra room key which i never seen any hotel. 3. You have to wait till 3 pm for check in even if they have vacant rooms available. 4. Their reservation manager is so rude that he do not even listen to you. he will tell you just wait in lobby. 5. Rooms are not old styled and bathrooms are very small and mostly have problem with water leakage, drainage system problems etc. 6. I strongly request everyone and will NOT RECOMMEND Ambassador Hotel Bangkok to stay. It was a very huge mistake to book Ambassador Hotel Bangkok and costly experience. Thank you The Travel Globe Islamabad / Lahore Pakistan

The rooms are okay, but I’m disappointed from 2 things, 1.the breakfast. Its not organized at all. I noticed people pushing each others and taking food by their hands and even returning some by their hands. Which is extremely against safety standards. I don’t recommend having breakfast in the hotel. 2.check out process is complicated, i called multiple times to the reception for checking out and to send some to carry our luggage. one responded after several calls and they sent no one. I had to carry them by myself and head to the reception. In the reception , 1 staff is attending more than 15 in the queue for the checkout process. I was late on my flight departure Generally the service is below average.

The food I'd enjoyed a lot, the rooms is also good. Only few service that you can see around and couldn't speak basic English like the maintenance personnel. Hope we could improve in that aspect since it is multinational are staying 🙂👍
