We stayed at this hotel last year and had our room on the pool side. It was very quiet there. But this time it is a disaster. When we arrived we got a room on one side with fan and ventilation. It was very noisy. We paid extra for an upgrade. They told us they would get back to us and call us during the day, but unfortunately that did not happen. We had to move to a smaller room without a bathtub. The new room was also very noisy on the street with a construction site. The service at the reception was not good at all. We were not really helped. We will not come again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had the Siam Suite Executive Level room with added benefits and found it perfect for us during our "Work-cation". We were both able to either be on our laptop from the hotel room, or use the Lounge, Pool, or downstairs Bar area. We loved the included made to order breakfast with buffet, and evening free cocktails and canapés selection as well. The staff were all 10/10 and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. We stayed at this hotel for 6-nights in total and were very pleased with the ease of access to public transportation and/or taxi services. If in the area again, we would stay here 100%. Quieter area of Bangkok with quick access to the popular areas and destinations. Excellent value with a premium experience! Love it!

Would not recommend. I’m sure it used to be a 5-star hotel in the past, but today it’s just an old and run down hotel. The floor and the joints in the bathroom are yellow and most disgusting was the toilet, which flushed things back up. The bedroom is old fashioned too with carpets on the floor and an uncomfortable bed. The breakfast was ok, but also not 5-star worthy.

The hotel is one of the top ten best locations in Bangkok. Great hospitality from all staff. The price is reasonable. All are very friendly and always helpful in all aspects including help me taking myself photos like professional photographers (set position, calculate light and reflection etc). All staff are always alert for support and help everyone. The Sapphire bar bistro & bistro is very nice and beautiful. The room is very clean and neat (may be special cleaning) because I don't have any allergic symptoms during my stay. Furthermore, the firm bed with four pillows are available with the separate parts of shower room & bathtub in bathroom. Very nice view with fresh air in the garden and swimming pool at 6th floor. It was my first time driving to the hotel by myself and the first time I received my car opening by Mr security guard staff, really surprised. So impressive! PS the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate cake are very nice and tasty. Our family has to order more, very delicious and relaxing holiday.

Would say this is a good hotel, but do not stay for the amenities and it’s not quite 5* standard you can get in Thailand. The pool does not look like advertised on Agoda (at all) - I told them it was my birthday (twice) - and nothing was done, and some of the outdoor areas that are advertised are used for ‘events’ and not available for general usage. The suite also had hanging photo frames that were all wonky, so attention to detail is poor. The club benefits also gives you dinner (but not past 7pm??). Room service food was average. Overall, they could do a lot more to improve stay of the guests, even though it’s a nice overall hotel.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This website will compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be disappointed. One of the best five star hotel in Bangkok city lovely ambience attractive to stay long and spend time with your partner and family members. swimming pool restaurant spa all the facility are really appreciatable. Continental breakfast is really good for all visitors. Highly recommended for all age group

Nice decoration. Good location as it locates in the center of city and near BTS and Victory Monument area. Some comments said the bed is comfy but not for me who have broad shoulders and pain in lower back. However, the room is relaxing.

A very good hotel in the centre of Bangkok, great connection to the public transportation and to the airport. The room was very clean and spacious with an excellent view towards the city. The staff is extremely polite and friendly, one staffed member even paid for my drone permit with his personal account because I did not have a Thai bank account. You don’t see something like this in Europe.

Fantastic hotel! Very luxurious and classy. We were pleasantly surprised by welcome fruits, fresh cut flowers, stuffed animals, and toys (family room) waiting for us in the room. Our suite was spacious and tastefully decorated. A true 5-star hotel experience. I will stay here again next time. Highly recommend it!

Great Hotel! No better hotel to stay at for a quarantine! We had a suite and another connecting room to stay as a family. One issue we had was the presence of mosquitoes even though we were on the 23 floor. However, they were very helpful as they brought in a mosquito repellent for us that did not not work well but made the situation much better. They were very organized. It made the quarantine bearable...

Average hotel, definitely need to renovate. Room facilities were old. The bath tub in premier room was ridiculously small. However, comfy bed. We had great sleep. Location is close to BTS & 7eleven. Average breakfast. Staffs' english weren't so good, we had quite a rough time communicated our needs.

We booked one room for four nights this time because last year we where also here and had a great time, this time it went that well.....after we had to upgrade because we wanted a queen-size bed, they put us in a room just right above some air turbines, we couldn't sleep the first night, after asking next day to get another room, the staff at the reception (Mrs. May and Mr. Peech) ignore my request telling me they will see what they couldn't do, they didn't call me neither forwarded my request, I had to complaint again at the evening... They got me a new room, this one was at the other side of the building to the main street, we have to say that this room is also not sound isolated, you can hear the traffic very clear. For People that cannot sleep with such sound surroundings like us, this hotel won't fit your requirements, only rooms right above pool are quiet

Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast and coffee. Wish the shower could do some renovating, and wasn’t the fan of the carpeted floor. Otherwise everything was 100%

Booked Test & Go package months in advance. I reached out repeatedly asking for confirmation of airport pickup and PCR test. I only heard back from the hotel twice, both times they asked for my passport/flight info, both times I provided the info within hours. Hotel never provided confirmation. I was forced to either cancel or risk being stranded at the airport. Hotel refuses to refund my money.

We had a great stay here. Very friendly staff, clean room and a good rate. I can recommend the Siam Club Lounge on the 21st floor. Great view and a nice breakfast selection. The staff is very kids-friendly so we had a very enjoyable stay.

Lobby area is like 6-star hotel, rooms are like 3-star hotel, swimming pool & gym are like 4-star hotel. Breakfast is like a 5-star hotel. Prices of the rooms are ok, considering what they offer. Restaurant and bar is too expensive. Overall: Not too bad.

Negative points - The quality of rooms are not same ( EVEN ON WEEKDAYS ) - We don't have welcome desserts - Cleaning rooms too low - Do not solve and have reasonable explanations for customers when they get trouble - Old bathroom, especially the glass of bathtub - The manager can't understand clearly while communicating in English - Small and hot elevators Positive compliments - Some staffs are frendly and calm - Furnitures around the lounge is elegant Some advice - Read the policies of this hotel to avoid lose your payments and efforts 😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😡😡😡

Location can’t be beat. It’s on the airport rail link and the sky train sukhumvit line so lots of flight crew stay here, and it’s convenient to travel around. It is 2 skytrain stops away from the malls (Siam paragon, Siam square, Siam centre, platinum, centreworld, etc). The sukhumvit line also has the chatuchak weekend market a few stops away. Get the buffet breakfast it’s really good they switch it up every day too. Pool and rooms are nice too - lots of families stay here. I really recommend this hotel because in a big city like Bangkok, it’s the most annoying thing to have to get around, so you’d rather this than a “nicer” hotel not super close to a train line. You can’t rely on taxis because of traffic, so sky train.

The place is very fancy inside, plenty attentive and helpful staff. The rooms are split into two buildings. If you're in the wrong building and want to go to the pool, you have to clap clap clap clap in your flip flops and swim shorts through main reception. The main road outside is pretty noisy with motor traffic. It's near the Phaya Thai SkyTrain station (5 minute sweaty walk) which has a direct link to the airport. My huge double bed is comfy and the shower is amazing. Given all the above I think I got a good deal for the price I paid.

We stayed several days and really enjoyed our stay. Great pool, wonderful breakfast buffet, friendly service. One suggestion for management: Please give your staff more training in speaking English...I did not find one who spoke well and on some occasions almost could not solve a situation.

My recent stay at the Sukosol Hotel in Bangkok was truly delightful. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I was greeted with warm Thai hospitality and impeccable service. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the vibrant city, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. The dining experience was exceptional, offering a delectable array of Thai and international cuisine. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Overall, my experience at the Sukosol Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Superb place to stay and didn't have much time to explore the hotel, have good staff and good meal section. Staff is good with English. Room service was superb. Easy access to metro also! A good place to stay

The old interior but modern hotel. In the modern style, the visitor can still feel the traditional vibes of Old Thailand.. The hospitality is amazing and the location is also strategic. Very recommended for tourist to stay here. The facilities is complete and the menu are amazing. Best regards, Santri Jalanan

Disappointment - Poor customer service. "I recently attempted to make arrangements for my wedding at this hotel, as I had previously stayed there and enjoyed the experience. However, I was extremely disappointed when nobody from the hotel responded to my attempts to contact them. I reached out through various channels including Line, Ig chat, and even made a phone call directly , but it has been 3-4 days and I have not received any response from event sales . It is disheartening to have my inquiries ignored, especially considering the pleasant experience I had during my previous stay. While the hotel itself is nice, I strongly believe that there needs to be a significant improvement in their customer service. This experience has left me feeling so let down that I have no intention of returning to this hotel in the future."

Great experience, museum and hotel at the same time :). Room is great, very clean all around, good interior design choices. Breakfast is also really nice, good selection of foods for every taste.

Short version: old fashioned, a bit run-down, ugly carpets -> don't go Long version: I'm sure the hotel was great back in the days it was built. Unfortunately, it is not anymore in my opinion. Everything is old fashioned and outdated, our room was really bad (ugly carpet, bed not comfy, small bathroom with old shower over bathtub (our toilet was clogged, too)), gym and spa opening hours from 8am to 6pm (thus when you are not in the hotel). The breakfast was okayish. On the pro side: the staff is really friendly, and the location is very handy to get to the airport. Still: don't go

The hotel is very clean and organized. The room is cozy and they provide water minerap and amenities for bathing. Breakfast is paid separately, but it's worth it because it's 400 baht and the food is freshly made. The hotel service is very good and they do the PCR test package and pick you up at the airport.

A good hotel. It's about a five minute walk to the nearest BTS station and a 7-Eleven is next to it. Door staff & attendants can help point you in the right direction to them. Breakfast is good (buffet style). Rooms are fine. A bit outmoded in some regards. It's decently clean overall, but you may find a fixable concern in your room as we did at our stay. Customer service is okay. Some staff members may find additional customer service & experience training useful. I recommend a stay here.

I had a great experience at Sukosol! The staff was lovely and the room was spacious and well kept. Although the location isn’t a very lively area there are still places to eat nearby and it’s close to public transit which makes getting to other parts of Bangkok easy. A few things could have been better, for example the water in the shower would fluctuate from hot to cold. The laundry service was also extremely expensive and a few items that I left for basic laundering were dry cleaned and pressed even though this wasn’t requested.

Close to BTS Phaya Thai and City Line station with 5 min walking distance. Room was clean & swim pool was good. Staff were not friendly enough. Except hotel restaurant, you almost couldn't find any nearby. Hotel bar on the ground floor Thai Massage on 6/F were not recommended

This hotel is located near Paya Thai BTS Station. Need only 5 minutes walk across the street. This hotel is also recommended for those who loves shopping. It takes only 20 minutes to Pratunam area, where you can find Pratunam Night Market, Platinum Shopping Mall and Big C. Although a bit old-fashioned in terms of interior, but the service provided is very good. Staff was very helpful to us. Especially, Tae in concierge who gave us recommendation for some places and how to get there. Breakfast is OK. They serve variety of foods. But, in the morning you can also find local food with cheap price along the street and also in the office building next to the hotel. The only bas experience we had was on the first day when the elevator we were using, shook and stopped for a few seconds. May be it needs maintenance. In overall, we had a good experience.

    - The rooms smell is weird - guest service doesn’t respond to calls sometimes - I got mosquito bites while staying there - And most importantly, found a lizard in the walk hall! - I disclosed all these information to the acting manager and didn’t get any help or constructive answer I wouldn’t book this hotel again if I go back to Bangkok

GREAT location with many places to eat nearby. Housekeeping were excellent! The bed we had was uncomfortable, the mattress/protector needs to be changed as there is an dent where people have slept. Room is a bit dark with dark furnishings in line with the hotel decore. Pool is nice but doesn't get many hours of sunlight (in October) as it gets shaded by the hotel building itself. Sapphire Bar has wonderful cocktails.

They arranged us into the smelly room which is very harmful for human lungs. The smell is a chemical of paint "Tintner". After reported that, the new room is smaller. Disappointed with the 5 stars hotel. Awful. Lack of customer experience awareness.

It's renovated old hotel. Clean, service and location is good. Feedback: Beware of free upgrade offered when check in. Booked Deluxe room and was upgraded free to premier when check in. The bathroom of the premier room came without shower area. Need to take shower at tiny bath tub with a curtain, feel worst than budget motel. When requested to downgrade to original deluxe room, front desk not very happy and keep telling is an upgrade for u and the deluxe room is fully occupied. Luckily 1 senior front desk help to change our room back to deluxe and make our stay perfect!

Good hotel for us switching airlines and airports overnight. Room was spacious, albeit a little dated. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of cuisines and left little to want. Pity they did not have a good coffee machine ☹️

Beautiful hotel and location, it's about 1.5-2 km walk to the Siam area (Siam paragon, center) and Centro world. you can enjoy the walk to them and take a tuktuk back at night. Room is kept clean and tidy. Breakfast is also great, worth having in the reservation package Highly recommend this hotel next time you visit Bangkok

Rooms were well priced, service was good, location was 5 min walk to BTS, 15 to 20 min to most places of interest in BKK. Breakfast was good, hot showers work. Would stay again.

This was a fantastic hotel to stay in Bangkok. Perfect location next to BTS. A lot of walkable areas to find food and entertainment. The hotel itself was beautiful as you walked inside, with a traditional Thai feel. The front desk was welcoming and very nice! The room was very spacious when entering, with plenty of areas to keep luggage and relax for two people. The room was very clean and bathroom well stocked. The cleaning service was always available and made sure to check in everyday to see when we needed cleaning. We had laundry service done a couple times and they were perfect! Came to the room with perfectly ironed attire and on hangers for use. The hotels breakfast was always delicious with a wide variety of dishes from different countries. As well as they have a few in hotel restaurants that we didn’t have a chance to try, sadly! The pool and spa area were perfect, spending most of the hot afternoons in the shade of the tents and in the perfect temperature pool. Had spa and massage services a couple times and the service was amazing. Very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were quiet and peaceful. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Bangkok and will be my go to on the trips I take here!

The hotel is in renovate process. The room is a bit old but clean enough. Location is very good. The bad thing is the water in bathtub when you open has the rust and you can't use the hot water before evening. Breakfast is not much choice.

The hotel is very good and luxurious. It is convenient as you can travel from the airport to the hotel using a public train called airport link and it does not take long. The hotel is just about 15min walk to the famous Siam square.
