I stayed here for 5 nights. (+) Positive Points - Doormen are friendly - Some restaurants nearby - Parking for buses (so many tour groups will stay here) - Conference rooms for meeting (-) Negative Points - Location is far from Central Area. Bad jam when getting around. - Beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Very shaky and you can literally feel the springs. The mattress is just like a thin cloth over springs. Couldn’t sleep. - Cockroaches! Found a few during the days we stayed - No power plugs near bed or table. In this day and age when we have to charge our devices, I find it very strange that this is lacking. - Breakfast had limited option and was repetitive - No toothbrush/ toothpaste provided - Flush very loud. You can hear other rooms flushing too.

I was very disappointed when I discovered the quality of the room. The beds are hard as a stone, the bathtub was always dirty, and the worst thing is that I could hear my neighbors flush the water in the toilet to the point it woke me up. The room itself is also ugly and looks and smells very old and the pool is no different. The breakfast has a lot of variety, but the only good choice were the vegetables. And the location sucked as well... So I don't see any good reason for someone to book this hotel

We have stayed at Century Park 10 times and have enjoyed each time. We can walk to the main shopping centres or catch the Sky Train. The local market by the Sky Train is excellent for bargains and food. There is a beautiful park close by. The best thing is the staff who are so friendly and super helpful. We keep coming back.

We had a wonderful time staying at this Hotel for 2 nights. Our rooms were located at the 22nd floor which had a breathtaking view of the city. Staff were very friendly, they even provided us with a early check in and late check out without any hesitation. They even let us keep the luggage at the hotel when we went to Phuket for 3 days. Hospitality at its best. The breakfast was superb. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Yes there are a few cockroaches and the food is mediocre. But it's a lovely 4 star hotel that makes up for it with great service and facilities. Pool, Fitness centre and guest lounge with the pool table is great. The staff are really friendly and positive. Other than the negatives above I would also suggest they don't greenwash and stop using small disposable bottles for toiletries like the shower gel and shampoo. Use refillable bottles.

Nice looking hotel inside. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and was tasty. The hotel is situated centrally to a lot of attractions we went to go see like the observation deck at the Bayoki hotel. Room was spacious but we would have liked the air conditioner to have been a bit cooler. Staff was friendly enough.

The rooms were spacious and mostly clean. The breakfast buffet was nice. The staff was friendly. But there was an incident at a bar where we ended up having to pay for drinks twice. We don't know what they did with the cash from the first time we paid. Just be sure to get a receipt for everything. Also, I can't say for sure I know what it was, but our hotel floor smelled like urine.

I liked my stay here. I found the rooms comfortable and clean. I did find the pillows hard. The air conditioner was not as cold. This hotel had a good breakfast buffet. It had plenty of choices. The hotel had a coffee shop inside. I enjoyed the coffee. The shop served desserts. I found the staff very nice and friendly. The hotel is located in a great spot. Just walking minutes to a currency exchange store, a 7-Eleven, massage places, restaurants, a street market, and a Buddha temple. The temple is open to the public. All these places are within walking reach. You can see the temple from the hotel, it is just behind the hotel. A street market just a street behind the hotel happens every morning early and it ends around noon. The rest of the places you can find walking up and down the street. I thought the hotel prices were fair and I was happy with my stay here.

Stayed for 3 nights, room ok but decor tired, hot water erratic or nonexistent. Some amenities advertised by hotel don't exist, such as a local shuttle bus. Breakfast buffet was just about acceptable, although poor coffee and orange juice. Archaic policy for happy hour, not well enough explained by staff or by promotional material (second drink of same type discounted by 50%); in this hotel the customer is not always right. Location not great as a tourist, too far away from main sites.

I have stayed at this hotel in February of this year in a deluxe room and now in a superior room for two days. Beautiful and old hotel after partial renovation, however, part of the territory with the pool is still fenced with a rope. Deluxe room was with amazing view to the city and Victory Monument. If you book a superior room, you can get a room with two doors (yes, one door is closed, which looks strange and uncomfortable). The hotel manager, consider the following disadvantages (if interested to improve hotel’s rating): 1. To flush the toilet in a superior room, hold the flush for 10 seconds, then release to completely flush the content. 2. The glass in the deluxe room was pierced through. 3. Body lotion and hair conditioner have an expired dates. 4. The fountain at the main entrance didn’t work and doesn’t. 5. The linens provided in superior room was with dark stains.

They have a very beautiful view from their rooms.. Rooms are very spacious and have a vintage touch to the decor. Room service can be improved.. They don't give complimentry water, so one must take care to having enough drinking water for them selfs. They have very less or none in the vegetarian options for food

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff. They put me and my husband in a room with twin beds, but when we pushed them together, they remade them that way for us, which.was worth commenting on. Good breakfast food options. Very helpful front desk and doormen.

Great hotel in Bangkok really enjoyed staying there. Superb city views, we were on 18th floor. Seemed quiet in the week, almost deserted then the weekend arrived along with hoards of people and the hotel changed from being serene and relaxing to hustle n bustle, long wait for lifts and nowhere to sit n relax in the lobby. The concierge is very helpful and spoke reasonable English. Nice restaurants nearby and night markets. Shopping centre a short taxi ride away if you can tolerate the constant heavy traffic. All things considered we'd definitely return

Had a great stay and a good time. staff were helpful and available all the time. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. Opted for morning breakfast and for vegetarians mostly fruits, desserts , bread Jam/butter/cheese, cornflakes , Egg fried rice and Noodles, omelets were available. I got the 24th floor and the view was pretty awesome. Rooms are kept in good condition. You have kettle, mini refrigerator, cups , tea/coffee sachets, 2 small water bottles in the room. The swimming pool view is awesome and gym looks good (I didn't use but looked good mostly all equipment were there). Location wise perfect no matter which direction you travel. Best part is there are many Indian restaurant around in 1 K.M walkable distance. Rather say Cons , would like to say a suggestion, 1. Electric point were loose near the bed. And same plug point go for table lamp ..So you can use for light or charging device. 2. Jet spray not present. 3. On food item names symbol for Veg 🟒/Non-Veg πŸ”΄/ Egg 🟀 that will quickly help the customers.

Stayed here for a brief city visit to Bangkok. Room was good. Bathroom was a little tired in some of the fittings but overall content. Staff were great, very friendly. Sadly didn't get a chance to use the pool area as we were there to explore the city. Breakfast, there was variety but felt any of the options (to accommodate different cuisines) were bland. It wasn't something we looked forward to sadly as the coffee bar area next to buffet breakfast had much nicer options. Room service options were very westernised - pizza, burger, pasta. Coming to Thailand would have liked a more extensive thai food menu. Location was fine. Hotel was on a very busy street but wasn't an issue for us as we spent our days exploring the city away from the hotel.

Another tour hotel, so writing this review relative to others on the tour. Overall was pleasently surprised. AC worked okay, water was hot, beds were mediocre but not scary, breakfast was peaceful. The stupid thing was considering a king bed two twin beds pushed together - including the bedding...lost a star for that.

Im here for 3 days and 2 night for business purpose and here is my experience: 1. The reception is totally wate of my time, and here is my bad review for this hotel. The receptionist tell me to wait for 1-2 hour for my room to get ready, waited for 3 hours and still i have to wait 10 more minutes for the administration, why in the hell he don’t make it before that??? The information was surely clear that we are in a group of 6 people. Totally unacceptable. 2. The room is okay, the toilet is nice,, not so much to tell i think is like a 4 star hotel big room. 3. The breakfast is ok, 6 out of 10. Not so special. 4. The location is perfect for going to GBK for a quick walk in the morning. 5. The coincierge is just average,,, not much of a smile put into them. I think mainly the staff is not well put ahappy face for the guest,, if you dont think any of that is crucial this hotel is just ok

Very good location, but unfortunately had bugs in my room all night, such as small bettles and roaches. I believe they came from the vents and small cracks in the room but am disappointed that the hotel has not taken care of these issues and properly sprayed the rooms and property beforehand. I wouldn't stay here again because of this issue.

We stayed here on the 19th of October. Only one night for 2 rooms . The room definitely need to update as there were old carpets & stains. The service was great. The hotel organized the birthday cake for my son , the location was excellent . I recommend this hotel if you want to be in the middle of everything. The breakfast was good with variety of food . I liked the noodles station . Swimming pool was big & good access. The staff provided late check out till 2pm which was generous. I would stay here again for me next visit to Thailand .

The location of the hotel is not bad. You can walk to different places in the surrounding area. Since I have elders who cannot walk that far had some trouble walking around. Otherwise for those who can walk, this is not a bad place. The staff are super friendly and attentive to your need. I would defiantly stay again on my future visits. Oh one more thing, I wish their buffet has more Thai style food. Otherwise it is not bad.

This hotel has excellent staff and a grand feel to it. While a bit older, it has been well maintained and updated. It was very comfortable but I can't give it give stars. The food is quite pricey and not very good. The wifi is very very slow. And the shower water temperature was unstable. If these issues were addressed this would be a five star hotel easily.

stained bathroom floor. small roaches on desk. I notified front desk about the stained bathroom floor. Next day, stain is still there. I called front desk again. A guy came to the room with a bottle spray and a towel, and worked on the floor for just a few minutes and left. I went check. Stain is stain there. See photos. I think I was given the worst room in the hotel.

Service and location is really good but the rooms are not clean first the carpet is really dirty and there are cockroaches! We then came to the reception and they gave us a new room. I think they should renovate the whole building because it’s old an dirty, if they do that than it would be a great hotel. The breakfast can be much better than now. And the view from the rooms is really good.

Wherever i went in the hotel i felt the staff were so welcoming. And treated me like i was a prince Felt an emotional attachment after i left this hotel. It had a great atmosphere food was amazing and the staff look after you well. And also the area is good if you need food.. go to the malls. Century Park is a large, modern hotel in Bangkok, located about a half hour ride from the Airport. The hotel compared favorably to a lot that we witnessed. We were here as part of a tour. Our room was good-size, clean, and comfortable. There were a few very minor maintenance issues - loose fixtures. The decorations style was basic Western; bed a bit lumpy. The included breakfast was FABULOUS, allowing for Western, Asian, and vegan fares. Service was excellent. It is hard to judge location. Most major attractions -- the Palaces, Chinatown, etc -- are a ride away, as are the upscale restaurants, BUT there did not seem to be a lot of similar upscale accommodations. Price: in the neighborhood of $200 a night for superior room (but our tour may have done better). Bottom line: a good choice for a pleasant stay.

We had a pleasant time staying at The Century Park. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was really good. Great selection and the staff make you feel at home. Our server at breakfast was wonderful and we tried to sit in her section every morning! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. Great value for your money and you will not be disappointed.

This is a great base for seeing Bangkok. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food service for breakfast and evening meals is good quality. I stayed for 4 months for work, and the staff were fantastic. I hope to stay again!

We stayed here for long stay vacation traveling from The United State. Service was THE BEST! very appreciated for a service from all staffs. The hotel have all the things you need gym, swimming pool, common space, room service. 10 mins walk to BTS Victory Monument which is near by downtown. Taxi and other transportation is all around.

Nice hotel about 15 minutes to nearest metro station. Clean rooms but a few things to improve. Don't clean the room when the do not disturb sign is on. We were out at the pool and wanted to come back then have the room cleaned. I may ask for it to be done again. Other than that things are OK so far. Pool is fantastic and breakfast buffet was very good for 350 each not bad at all!

It is a large hotel in this area, about a 15 minute walk from the nearest train station. The view from the rooms on the upper floors is fantastic. You can see the whole city of Bangkok. The cleanliness of the rooms is good. However, I found a few facilities to be faulty. First of all, there is a power outlet. I was staying from Japan, so I had a converter connector, but it did not work in this room. For some reason, there were a few outlets that could be used with the same type of outlets as in Japan. There is no toothbrush. The toilet clogged up if you were not careful. Internet speeds were very slow and it would be impossible to do remote conferencing in this room. Also, television could not be viewed, probably because of the broadband connection. However, you can enjoy a free buffet breakfast and the staff is quite friendly. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Bangkok.

The hotel is nice and clean! Only the location was for us a little bit too far away from the center. We were only visiting for two days and we needed to take a taxi to get into the city center. During the crazy traffic jams in Bangkok, it takes a while. The breakfast was very good and also the personnel was very helpful! Thanks!

Great hotel in the middle of Bangkok's residential district. Staff is very professional and accommodating, breakfast buffet makes you want to wake up at 6am! Impeccable laundry service. Close proximity to train, Starbucks, multiple 7-elevens, and a mall with a McDonald's and Dairy Queen!

STAY AWAY!!!! This hotel is terrible! I came in a Gate 1 tour w 33 other people... everyone had the same opinion. You enter your room and a terrible odor of mold hits you and does not go away during your stay. Black mold everywhere in the shower stall!!!! We killed a ROACH in our room and had to be given a different one. The new room turned out to be no better as the ceiling was cracked with moisture damage and one of the windows in this 15th floor room was unlocked. That could have been a tragedy if one on us had leaned into it or if we had had a small child in our party. Food was low quality. Hotel needs a complete renovation, it is terribly rundown and dated.

  • 4/5 Guy L. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is located well - quite near Victory Monument, shopping malls ans restaurants. The rooms were older and ours smelled like it had previously had smokers. The staff in the restaurant and check out did not cope well with the amount of customers. They were however very polite and tried to help.

I've used this hotel many times only open back up July, room very clean but could do with updating now . Food before had many choices this year not much choice.

  • 5/5 Ryazantsev N. 1 year ago on Google
(+) Excellent location - off busy tourist spots but still close to everything and still enough nice street food around the clock around. I used only taxis to move around the city, they are cheap and fast enough, so no reason to wish to stay closer to public transport stops. Very nice park just across the street. Real hotel with an impressive and convenient lobby and other communal places. Nice pool with a view. Excellent breakfast. A large room with a very good marble bathroom featured both shower and tub - not usual even for 5*. Comfy bed/pillows. Spacious, classic look room, I liked it. Friendly and helpful staff. (-) Room/furniture a bit outdated, look not as classy as on photos but still not critical. My room had some smoke smell upon arrival. It was gone the next day, though. Overall, I liked my stay here and would stay there again.

We stayed at Century Park only for night. I think there are many other better hotels in Bangkok. The staffs are completely not hospitable. No one opened the door for us when we arrived and even welcomed us with smiles. When we came to the receptionist, there were again no smiles but instead given sour face. Breakfast was too simple with very little choices.. I believe this hotel has got collaboration with large tour groups so they are not bothered with customer satisfaction. We asked one of the staff during breakfast for cutlery and she pointed her hand towards the pantry in a very rude way. I was very shocked because never seen such a behavior from any Thai hotels I've been to so far. My kids were swimming in the pool and there freaked out when they saw 3 dead roaches floating in the pool and we went back to our room. The furniture in the room were so old, I believe they can be refurbished. Decorations too. All in all, completely not value for the money we paid. We paid quite a bit for our room and the service, food and facilities were not matching up to our expectation. Also the reality and pics are mismatched. I'm surprised they have got 4.2 overall rating. It wasn't a pleasant experience for us, especially the service.
