Staff are nice, rooms are big and well designed. There is a laundry on the opposite side of the street (much cheaper than the one in the hotel) and a 7 eleven which is a 3m walk. Only thing the rooms need to be updated and renovated they do look a bit outdated and have some stains here and there. Nice cafe on the ground floor for coffee and breakfast.

Rooms are large, and the bathrooms have great water pressure. Some signs of wear in the carpet and furniture. Overall location is decent, near a 7-11, railway station, and cheap laundry service across the street However, the hotel faces away from the main street to the side, where you can smell sewer gasses when walking to the main street. Pool is great. Good value. Internet is really spotty; it cuts out every 10 minutes for about a minute. Edit: One night it was out for over an hour after we woke up. It gets pretty annoying after a couple days

I recently stayed at the Hansa Bangkok Hotel and had a somewhat mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was impressively spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered was also noteworthy, with a good variety of options to choose from. However, the service diminished my overall satisfaction. Unfortunately, it seemed that the employees lacked a service-oriented mindset. While the room and breakfast were commendable, the service aspect left room for improvement. I hope the hotel management addresses this issue to enhance the overall guest experience in the future.

I really like that their service is very consistent and loved it for couple of reasons: 1. The staff was very friendly and always smiling. 2. The check-in process was easy and hassle-free. 3. The online check-out process was also very convenient. 4. The pool was available until 10 pm which was great. 5. The room had everything I needed and I didn’t have to call the front desk for anything. Overall, I had a great stay and experience.

Highly recommend this hotel for those who wants a relaxing and quiet stay. This hotel gives off zen vibes. The staff in the hotel are friendly and the male staff at the front desk/reception was very accommodating with our needs, helping my family and I to make reservations to various activities. Housekeeping was provided promptly. The housekeeping staff even helped to tidy up our own items by arranging it neatly at the same place. Last but not least, the breakfast. This hotel has one of the best spread of breakfast, including local Thai delights and a buffet you can help yourself to. The waiter and waitress were friendly which made my family felt comfortable.

It's looking and feeling a little dated now, which is a shame but also understandable given the present situation. The hotel seemed to be running on low, low lights, low energy from the staff, low occupancy and pretty much low everything. We even had to unload our luggage by ourselves. Hopefully once the economy picks up, Hansar might regain its high standards.

One of the very best hotel in town with high level of privacy and services. The staff are nice, friendly, approachable, and eager to deliver services. The room layout of Vertigo Suite is superb. Best location with all interesting places are in walking-distance from hotel. Plus, you won’t hear any traffic noise at all ❤️

What an experience!!! Definitely gonna come back here with my friends. Everything's breathtaking. Live music performed by Japanese artist are the best. The room is so neat and comfortable feels like my second home. Good for solo traveler as well

I was introduced to the Hansar by a friend and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff is super friendly and service is excellent. The rooms are quite nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside, which seems to affect all Bangkok hotels are the outlets, which don’t hold US style devices very well. If you can, use a UK adapter plug. The gym here is one of the better equipped gyms I’ve seen in a hotel- they even have a Muay Thai ring. Picture is from my room- sunsets are quite nice.

Great hotel. Price is very competitive and the quality is high. They have large rooms, with a beautiful bathroom and great bed. Shame however that they left the old carpet in the rooms. Breakfast was good!

My visit to this hotel was primarily for a partner party, and it exceeded my expectations. The parking facilities were ample and convenient, which is a significant relief in a bustling city. The staff service was a standout feature; they were not only efficient but also genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch to the experience. The highlight of the hotel was undoubtedly the rooftop view. It offered a stunning panorama of Bangkok's cityscape, providing an impressive and memorable backdrop for the evening. The combination of practical amenities, excellent service, and a spectacular city view makes this hotel a great choice for both personal and professional events.

First time booking a 5 star hotel but did expect a bit more than what was offered. I booked the horizon suite because the images showed such grace but the furniture was quite worn and the bedding had holes in them. The mattress itself felt a little... squishy? Felt like it had water inside. For the price I paid I thought furniture would be updated more often. Bathroom was grand though, I liked how big and modern it looked, contrary to the rest of the room. The reception was on the second floor which I found strange, and the rooms were in a separate but connected building? I do think customer service was fantastic though, the bellboys were of great help and spoke pretty much fluent English. I spent my birthday here and staff sent me a birthday cake. Staff helped us book Tours and taxis very efficiently. Breakfast was included in our package and was a spectacular buffet. Really enjoyed the Thai noodle soup, enjoyed so much I had it everyday I was checked in for (3 days). Location could be better, it's well tucked into an alley. I probably wouldn't come back here, mostly due to location and room state vs price tag

In the middle of one of the most hype and crowded location in BKK. Amazingly peaceful, clean and safe. Rooms are big and convenient. Daily cleaning. Amazing staff and I mean it. Whatever you need they will fulfill your expectations. Breakfast is a great experience and the food is really high quality. Perfect for family stay. Not ostentatious like so much hotels around. A must stay if you spend by the vibrant Bangkok. Great experience.

Booked a room with an extra bed, however it wasn't setup even though we reconfirmed this as check-in. TV reception unwatchable and grainy, fortunately the living room had a more modern tv with Netflix. Water damage on the wooden floors showing age. Boutique hotel maybe..but not luxury. It's a serviced apartment trying to be a hotel.

one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. A nice bougee treat. -1 star because with the price point one would expect faster service (check in, breakfast). Wifi does not work outside of your room & lobby. Walk to entrance is not all smooth, considering the luxurious concept.

A wonderful stay for my family and I ! Everything was just perfect. Comfortable stay with with a 3 year old toddler + my parents (who are 65+ ish). Booked: 2 Urban Room (King Bed) + include breakfast. PRO: 1. location, walking distance to Ratchadamri BTS station (that takes you to National Stadium - to MBK/ Siam - to Siam Paragon/ and to Saphan Taksin - where you can drop by Asiatique). the hotel is located at a quiet alley (but safe) and it's known as the Hi-So (high society). there is a 7 eleven about 3 mins down the alley. 2. Rooms. the sizes of the room is so impressive! We loved the extra living area for us to rest between the day and the biggest space in the bathroom with his/hers sink. separated shower + WC. the bathtub is soooooo huge! my boy enjoyed it tremendously every night :D we were provided 4 bottles of water per day and there are also in the mini fridge (with charges of course) 3. Service - all the staff there were really wonderful and super nice to my 3 year old toddler. they even went over and beyond and placed a crib into our room eventhough the king size bed was plenty big for all 3 of us. we appreciate it! <3 4. Breakfast - it was everything I imagined would be after reading all the reviews! i loved it! we stayed for 3 nights so the Daily Breakfast ala-carte dishes alternated between 2 menus. they were all lovely & delicious! (the portion size is a little small, but i find it very smart to reduce food wastage, you can always order more if you'd like to). the dining area was plenty comfortable too <3 Some suggestions to further improve. - the sofa/ carpets are a little worn down, may be time to upgrade or get them cleaned thoroughly? - would be great to have a clock on the bedside tables? as I woke up in the middle of the night and didn't know what time it was and had to stumble about to get my phone to check. - pls consider building a slope for luggage/wheelchair/stroller access at the drop off area. we were struggling a little there although your bell boy was there to help (sometimes he was away) Overall, it was a wonderful stay and would plan to stay there again. Eventhough it's a little pricier , for the service, the cleanliness, location & breakfast. we are very happy with it. Keep up the good work pls! <3

The location is very convenient, and the hotel's environment and suite facilities are comfortable. The breakfast is also very delicious, and all the staff members are extremely friendly, always wearing a warm smile. Especially, I want to thanks to a receptionist who at the front desk on the first floor— Alec☺️ Thanks for the kindness, help and care during our trip. Helped us to arrange our itinerary and answered all my questions very patiently, made us feel very warm and appreciated. Hansar hotel is the best choice for traveling in Thailand.

Hansar is my home away from home when I'm in Bangkok. The location is ideal, the hotel is fantastic and the service is second to none 😀. I want to specifically mention the concierge/bell service team of Alec, Ohm, Soluth, Ti and Bank (hope I got your names correct!) They are all so kind and friendly! Always ready to assist and answer any questions! I can't wait for my next visit. Thank you 🙏 -Ken

The hotel is positioned concurrently near to a BTS and walking distance to the main shopping area. The rooms are spacious and clean. The wifi infrastructure could get some upgrading though. The breakfast spread is ok and the staffs are friendly and helpful. They did mistaken assign us to an occupied room upon checking

One of the worst 5-star hotels in Bangkok. More like 3 stars really. Wifi is practically unusable, hence the smart tv is also unusable. The air conditioner positioning is the absolute worse — it’s right in front of the bed and blow straight to you when you’re sleeping. So you are either shivering bcs it’s too cold, or sweating bcs you turn off the AC. No clue why they design it that way. The staff are far from friendly, and not helpful whatsoever. I tried calling to ask them to check the WiFi, and got no feedback whatsoever — until I went straight to the lobby and rage directly to them. In conclusion, don’t waste your money here, there are many better hotels out there.

Solid and successful hotel. Great quiet location. Food is mediocre so eat elsewhere. Rooms are very large. Many of the rooms suffer from outdated cooling systems. Otherwise great.

Hardly a 5 star hotel as the service is slow and non existent. When we checked in there was no one at the entrance. The room is big but aged and not well maintained. The chair has not been properly checked and having sharp edges which cut my moms hand. Lucky there were no kids in the room. The One star given to the house keeping lady who was nice and fast to swap the chair for us. We waited for so long and had to call three times to get the first aid kit. When it finally came, the staff who came to deliver the first aid didnt even apologize one bit. Edit: changed to 3 stars, we received a formal apologies letter plus a bouquet of flowers which was really sweet. I hope that from this experience the hotel would be more attentive to older furnitures in the room because otherwise a pretty nice hotel with really friendly staffs.

Unusable wifi and unwatchable televisions took this hotel from what was promised to be a high-end boutique to a place that seemed to have seen better days. There are nicer, better-maintained hotels nearby for lower cost than Hansar.

A good hotel in a very central location in Bangkok. Rooms are big and spacious. The infinity pool is great to relax after a full day of tourism. Close to the BTS and a few malls with plenty of shopping and good dining options.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations and we had a very happy stay there. The massages are very professional and highly recommended too. Only the barber was a slight diaappointment and accepted cash only.

  • 3/5 Michael M. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice rooms. I love the design. 3 stars because the internet is unacceptably slow. Really, it’s a joke. They have one 80 MBits line for the whole hotel to share. Ridiculous. Breakfast was rather basic for the price range. With good internet (30 MBits+ per room) I’d book again. Location is great.

Hansar, Koh Samui is a 5-star beachfront resort with exceptional service minded staff, great food, boho-lux architectural design elements and an outstanding luxury spa. Service – The phrase that comes to mind when thinking back at the staff of Hansar is ‘super friendly’. From check-in to check-out every encounter with the staff members (namely Bob, Leo, Angel, and Ing) was so warm and friendly. Special thanks to Khun Ford who was truly exceptional. Our interactions evoked a feeling of nostalgia like visiting relatives after a long time away. They served a refreshing bottle of butterfly pea flower upon check-in which was lovely. The check-in process was fuss-free, smooth and efficient. Service at breakfast was also highly commendable. One particular staff noticed that a fly had sat on a slice of bread from the egg menu item just as she was about to serve the dish. She then looks at me and says, “Sorry I’m unable to service this because it doesn’t meet the standards.” This attention to detail was quite remarkable. Location – Being in the center of Bophut, we thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of being able to step-out of the resort and explore the unassuming streets of the Fisherman’s Village. Luckily, we were there on the weekend and could visit café’s, awesome nightlife vibes, and some shopping of local designers in unique boutique outlets along the quaint streets. We were literally located in the heart of town while returning to the calmness of our dreamy bohemian-themed abode. Accommodation – We stayed in their luxurious 75 sqm Seaview XL suite which featured a four-poster bed with romantic muslin drapes, a large stone bathtub, a dreamy king-sized bed and a large outdoor balcony. Our room number was #1302 on the third floor with unparalleled views of the main pool and sea. The highlight of the room was definitely the massive panoramic balcony with a very comfortable outdoor sofa bed. We enjoyed the airy breeze while listening to waves caressing the shoreline the mornings and evenings. This was also a perfect spot for some morning mediations to start the day. Other room features included a large LCD TV, high speed wifi, double sinks in the bathroom and a rain shower with consistent water temperature. Throughout the stay, the wifi signal was strong and stable. We were able to connect our android stick and enjoyed some Netflix shows with no issues. Spa – The “Luxsa” spa is a sanctuary for the senses. As we seated ourselves, they presented us with the various massage oil options which included 4 elements: earth, water, air and fire. They all had a unique scent which evoked various healing properties. Our 60-minute massage flew by. The masseuses were extremely professional and applied the right amount of pressure which made for an excellent treatment. It was so relaxing, I fell asleep even though I tried my level best to stay awake throughout the treatment. Private Dining by the Beach – We opted for their private dining experience by the beach. The hotel staff decorated a wonderful table which was a perfect setting for a romantic, dreamy sunset celebratory dinner. Some of the food options included a pumpkin soup, tuna tartar, grilled seabass and mango sticky rice for dessert. Each dish was very well made and tasty. We especially enjoyed their grilled sea bass which was very fresh and the mango sticky rice! When in Thailand, the mango sticky rice is not to be missed. Breakfast – The H-Bistro Restaurant features large open doors (and windows) facing the beachfront making this venue a perfect spot to start the day. The buffet breakfast had a great variety of both international and local dishes. We appreciated their egg menu which shows some level of invention especially their Florentina eggs featuring perfectly poached eggs, a hollandaise sauce, brown bread, crab stick, avocado and prawn. Thank you

Good value for money. However, the hotel is starting to get old if you look in details. Would need a renovation. The breakfast was very good for the price ! Totally recommend it. Location is perfect as well. The Internet wifi is very slow and disconnect quite often. This is not acceptable for a 5-star hotel !

I am very much disappointed with the car park. It requires you to have the parking tickets stamped every time you get in or out of the hotel although you stay for quite a period of time. I wasted a lot of time for this.

beautiful hotel , some restaurants were closed but breakfast and lunch were good , staff very polite and friendly , rooms very big , well laid out but in need of some cosmetic repairs , silk walls I am sure were beautiful when first decorated but now stained and torn , not practical for bedroom walls , flower walls are in need of changing , most of the flowers are dead

Close to BTS, pretty nice location wise. Far away enough to not get traffic noise. Service is really great and helpful. Bed is super comfy, got like 5 different pillow types. Food is super good in the cafe, and quick. Aesthetics of the place are really nice, I love the art and architecture, very calming atmosphere. Other: nice gym, great pool, WiFi is a like 40 mbps but sometimes cuts out, maybe once a day, but turned off power and power back on and it’s all good. Desk for workin. For the value, A+. Highly recommend.

It's more a condominium than a hotel. As is the service. Which in most regards was not up to the 5 stars they want to be. The staff and service was slow and in some cases not existent, with some exceptions. The rooms are big and the layout was good but they are dark and dated and not very well maintained. First day of arrival our internet was not working. We called and told them, nothing happened until day 2. Card keys for the rooms and elevator were barley working. Was stuck in different floors and couldn't get into our room several occasions. Had to go to lobby 5!!! times to get it fixed. No sorry, no nothing. Was waiting to get the card fixed for 30 min with my food in my hand getting colder by the minute. Great Location close to the BTS though.
