Hansar,
Koh
Samui
is
a
5-star
beachfront
resort
with
exceptional
service
minded
staff,
great
food,
boho-lux
architectural
design
elements
and
an
outstanding
luxury
spa.
Service
–
The
phrase
that
comes
to
mind
when
thinking
back
at
the
staff
of
Hansar
is
‘super
friendly’.
From
check-in
to
check-out
every
encounter
with
the
staff
members
(namely
Bob,
Leo,
Angel,
and
Ing)
was
so
warm
and
friendly.
Special
thanks
to
Khun
Ford
who
was
truly
exceptional.
Our
interactions
evoked
a
feeling
of
nostalgia
like
visiting
relatives
after
a
long
time
away.
They
served
a
refreshing
bottle
of
butterfly
pea
flower
upon
check-in
which
was
lovely.
The
check-in
process
was
fuss-free,
smooth
and
efficient.
Service
at
breakfast
was
also
highly
commendable.
One
particular
staff
noticed
that
a
fly
had
sat
on
a
slice
of
bread
from
the
egg
menu
item
just
as
she
was
about
to
serve
the
dish.
She
then
looks
at
me
and
says,
“Sorry
I’m
unable
to
service
this
because
it
doesn’t
meet
the
standards.”
This
attention
to
detail
was
quite
remarkable.
Location
–
Being
in
the
center
of
Bophut,
we
thoroughly
enjoyed
the
freedom
of
being
able
to
step-out
of
the
resort
and
explore
the
unassuming
streets
of
the
Fisherman’s
Village.
Luckily,
we
were
there
on
the
weekend
and
could
visit
café’s,
awesome
nightlife
vibes,
and
some
shopping
of
local
designers
in
unique
boutique
outlets
along
the
quaint
streets.
We
were
literally
located
in
the
heart
of
town
while
returning
to
the
calmness
of
our
dreamy
bohemian-themed
abode.
Accommodation
–
We
stayed
in
their
luxurious
75
sqm
Seaview
XL
suite
which
featured
a
four-poster
bed
with
romantic
muslin
drapes,
a
large
stone
bathtub,
a
dreamy
king-sized
bed
and
a
large
outdoor
balcony.
Our
room
number
was
#1302
on
the
third
floor
with
unparalleled
views
of
the
main
pool
and
sea.
The
highlight
of
the
room
was
definitely
the
massive
panoramic
balcony
with
a
very
comfortable
outdoor
sofa
bed.
We
enjoyed
the
airy
breeze
while
listening
to
waves
caressing
the
shoreline
the
mornings
and
evenings.
This
was
also
a
perfect
spot
for
some
morning
mediations
to
start
the
day.
Other
room
features
included
a
large
LCD
TV,
high
speed
wifi,
double
sinks
in
the
bathroom
and
a
rain
shower
with
consistent
water
temperature.
Throughout
the
stay,
the
wifi
signal
was
strong
and
stable.
We
were
able
to
connect
our
android
stick
and
enjoyed
some
Netflix
shows
with
no
issues.
Spa
–
The
“Luxsa”
spa
is
a
sanctuary
for
the
senses.
As
we
seated
ourselves,
they
presented
us
with
the
various
massage
oil
options
which
included
4
elements:
earth,
water,
air
and
fire.
They
all
had
a
unique
scent
which
evoked
various
healing
properties.
Our
60-minute
massage
flew
by.
The
masseuses
were
extremely
professional
and
applied
the
right
amount
of
pressure
which
made
for
an
excellent
treatment.
It
was
so
relaxing,
I
fell
asleep
even
though
I
tried
my
level
best
to
stay
awake
throughout
the
treatment.
Private
Dining
by
the
Beach
–
We
opted
for
their
private
dining
experience
by
the
beach.
The
hotel
staff
decorated
a
wonderful
table
which
was
a
perfect
setting
for
a
romantic,
dreamy
sunset
celebratory
dinner.
Some
of
the
food
options
included
a
pumpkin
soup,
tuna
tartar,
grilled
seabass
and
mango
sticky
rice
for
dessert.
Each
dish
was
very
well
made
and
tasty.
We
especially
enjoyed
their
grilled
sea
bass
which
was
very
fresh
and
the
mango
sticky
rice!
When
in
Thailand,
the
mango
sticky
rice
is
not
to
be
missed.
Breakfast
–
The
H-Bistro
Restaurant
features
large
open
doors
(and
windows)
facing
the
beachfront
making
this
venue
a
perfect
spot
to
start
the
day.
The
buffet
breakfast
had
a
great
variety
of
both
international
and
local
dishes.
We
appreciated
their
egg
menu
which
shows
some
level
of
invention
especially
their
Florentina
eggs
featuring
perfectly
poached
eggs,
a
hollandaise
sauce,
brown
bread,
crab
stick,
avocado
and
prawn.
Thank
you
