Staying with the locals is an amazing, relaxed and convenient experience. Everything was amazing and Obi and his sister are just great and caring hosts!!! The place is cute, super clean and minimalistic. The Beds are super comfortable! A/C is excellent and the whole places is digital equipped like digital keys for easy access to make it very convenient. Shower/toilets are super clean. The Location It simply perfect, you won’t find a better location than Obis place. It is super convenient to stay there and visit all the important spots, like the palaces or Khao San Road. The neighborhood is really nice, with good food, restaurants, very traditional and amazing Thai massages, and friendly people. You can either walk, take tuk tuk or taxi. Also at the last day we discovered the boat line in the river that it is super fun to do and there is a stop just a few minutes walking from the Locals places. The Location is super amazing since it is near a main highway, but that also makes it a bit noisy. For us it was ok, but if you are sensitive to traffic, get ear plugs. Arriving by Taxi from Airport was also very easy. Communication - Excellent. Obi is very responsive and caring. He was always available via WhatAap and a host that speaks fluent english was very appreciated and helpful, since it was our first time in Bangkok and get some tips from a local. He even gave us a little tour around the neighborhood so we can locate ourselves easy Thank you very much Obi for being such a great host!! When we visit again Bangkok, we will definitely stay with you!!

This was one of if not the best accommodation experience we had in Thailand. We stumbled upon this place on Airbnb after a very bad experience with a budget hotel not too far from this one. Our room was huge, immaculate, and everything was brand new. The shower was big, hot water and water pressure were perfect and the bed and linens super comfortable. Location is perfect, easily walkable to markets, temples, ferry boats, etc. To top it off, the service was great. Owners were extremely responsive and accommodating — were able to leave our luggage in the place early, got a hair dryer 2 mins after requesting one, and had all our questions about the room / Bangkok answered in a flash. Highly recommended!

에어비앤비로 예약했는데 최고의 숙소였어요! 호스트분이 너무너무 친절하시고 적극적이셔요. 객실도 채광이 너무 좋았고, 도로 바로 앞인데 소음이 그렇게 크지 않아서 자는 데에 어려움이 있진 않았어요😁 무엇보다 여긴 위치가 너무 좋아요! 카오산로드, 람부뜨리, 나이쏘이 가기 너무 좋았어요!! 아 엘리베이터 있어서 짐 옮기기 최고입니당 다시 태국여행 계획 중인데 여기 예약이 꽉 차서 못가는 게 너무 아쉬워요ㅠㅠㅠ 추천 !

Obi is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie is helemaal top, 1 minuut lopen naar de Rumbrutti Allee. Kamers zijn schoon en zien er netjes uit. Er is een lift aanwezig in het gebouw.

It was so amazing I booked another night with Obi at The Locals. The entire experience was just so friendly, uncomplicated and welcoming. I am so glad that I arrived here on my first day in Bangkok. All the important sights are close by and you find authentic delicious street food just around the corner. You can just walk around the neighborhood until late at night and enjoy the good vibes of the city and a good massage after a long day. I felt very safe and everyone was super friendly. Oh, and did I mention how comfortable the beds were? It feels like sleeping in an expensive hotel but with true locals. Don't hesitate to ask Obi questions about what to do. We will be back!

Stunning place, great reviews, right next to Khao San road which is loooooooove it. so many bars, great street food and great restaurant around. The host and staff are very nice, talkative and friendly, the room is always clean and smell nice. they even and huge terrace and rooftop, i would definately come back again!

Great place to stay. Manager is very nice and gave lots of great recommendations. If you have trouble sleeping ask for a room not facing the street. Lots of traffic sounds. But clean and accessible. A good place to stay
