Foojohn
is
only
three
years
old
but
it's
one
of
the
best
jazz
clubs
in
Bangkok.
The
club
has
talented
guest
musicians
every
week
from
all
over,
from
instrumentalists
to
vocalists
to
ensembles.
If
you're
looking
to
enjoy
beautiful
jazz
in
a
cozy
atmosphere,
this
is
the
place.
Space
is
very
limited,
however,
though
the
club
is
expanding
by
adding
a
3rd
floor
and
a
rooftop.
For
now,
it's
best
to
book
at
least
a
day
or
two
ahead,
otherwise
you're
likely
to
find
standing
room
only.
The
food
is
not
bad
but
options
are
limited,
though
of
course
it's
not
the
real
draw.
Drinks
are
much
better.
I
recommend
the
whiskey
sour
in
particular.
It's
not
on
the
menu
but
the
bartender
is
quite
good.
The
French
owner
(or
manager?),
Mr
Sticks,
regularly
plays
the
drums
with
the
other
musicians,
and
he's
quite
good,
too.
