I really like the design and structure of this place with it's large pavillion at the front of the property and stilted two tier structure the other side of the Khmer style garden. The lawn at the rear of the property completes the 2 acres of land used to provide a peaceful place for Mr Kukrit to do his work. The five House on the upper level are really what I would describe as Thai style wooden huts, each one serving a purpose as a bedroom, library, reception, prayer and exhibition room. As is typical of a number of Thai House museums around Bangkok, it stands out in sharp contrast to the modern huge apartment block behind. Just 50 Baht entrance fee.

(Translated by Google) Suitable for people who like contemporary Thai history. A quiet place in the heart of the city For a long time, tourists will walk astray The entrance fee is 50 baht per person. Got the paper to read the history and house map In the Khon pantomime there was a garbage bin next to the table. There is only one fish in the pond in the middle of the house. Like to take pictures with tourists, talk to Keng Fongford The basement of the house is called "downstairs". There is one snoring dog frequently. The house doesn't have air conditioner but only the wind. There is a backyard, an ancient big tree pond, and tourists can feed fish in the big pond. But fish rarely appear But pigeons appeared to see tourists feeding a lot of fish. There was a sign in the toilet saying "Do not wash your feet in the toilet."

It looks like they don't provide any guide, but they give you brochures with all information. Nice place, not so much people. Enter fee is 50 Baht. The only thing I am worry about is that they have dogs in cages on the territory. I really hope they let them out sometimes, dogs looked really miserable...

Nancy Chandler's wonderful map and accompanying short guidebook about Bangkok first got me interested in this special spot. I got there near the end of the day right after some heavy rain. The gardens are magical--collosal lotus flowers and leaves crowd the large ponds. The carp also seemed enormous. There are all kinds of tropical flowers of every color. The sounds of wildlife abound--from the many different bird sounds to the crow of a rooster and the baying of the many dogs that the caretakers feed. I was the only visitor and spent some time speaking with the caretakers who were very welcoming and full of interesting information and stories. While I saw the garden as an oasis in the city, their view was quite different. Having grown up in the area, they had seen it go from farmland/orchards to be built up all around this last little enclave that is preserved. The buildings are interesting and come from other parts of the city/country and were renovated to be part of the home. Equally interesting is the life of the first Prime Minister of Thailand, the former owner and creator of this home/gardens.

Very nice to see traditional Thai architecture in the center of Bangkok. Apparently Kukrit had the various parts of this home brought in piecemeal from the countryside. I like this because it is not as commercial as the Jim Thompson house.

A nice place for a wedding with 100 guests. This is a historic site where M.R.Kukrit lived, so there are buildings with traditional Thai architecture style, nice gardens and a big lawn in the back of the house. The front building has a raised floor which was perfect for Buddhist ceremonies. The back lawn was big and easily accommodated 100 guests (probably big enough for 200 guests) in a buffet-style lunch with 10-seat round tables for guests to sit and eat comfortably. There are two minor things I did not enjoy so much. First, parking is limited. We parked at a parking lot 200 meters away from the front gate and walked. Shoes for weddings aren't so friendly. Second, there were so many fierce mosquitos. I was bitten constantly while I was there, in the morning!

(Translated by Google) It’s great here, come in for 50 yuan baht, you should bring a cup of coffee to sit in. It is very quiet and very comfortable! I suggest that you have time to come and go. It’s the same as Kim Thomson’s old house, but there is nothing to eat, ha!

I was really impressed that the Japanese pamphlet was translated by Japanese volunteers. I would like to thank those who translated it, at least because it was an opportunity to research him. (Translated by Google) Very beautiful and original small courtyard, advocates the implementation of a democratic system, friendly relations with countries with different political systems, and established diplomatic relations with China during the term of office. I have seen Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, Chinese national leaders, Thailand Politician and writer, chairman of the Social Action Party, Prime Minister of Thailand. Kerry was born in Sing Buri, his grandfather was the son of King Rama II of the Bangkok dynasty. His grandmother was of Chinese descent. His father, Prince Kanlo, was the first police chief in Thailand.... His son was also very humorous, saying yes. There is a secret secret in the backyard pond, and I thought it was a crocodile! I dare not approach, find a lot of black and black magical fish after finding food...

A beautiful quiet place in this noisy city! The houses are traditional Thai houses that apparently used to be ubiquitous in this City but have unfortunately become extremely rare. The garden is lovely, just as the people taking care of this gem. They answered all my questions and were super friendly. I just wanted to stay there die the remainder of my trip.

Wonderful, interesting, green and quiet oasis in the heart of busy Bangkok. Close to BTS station Chongnonsi, a place where it's easy to feel which kind of life important people had a few decades ago. Peaceful gardens, wooden houses with original furniture, pictures, dishes and lots of flowers. Fee is much cheaper than other well known place and overall experience better.

Interesting Museum. Nice to see a traditional Thai home. Just a short walk from the Chong Nonsi BTS station. There are 5 teak houses. The oldest is over 100 years old. Used to be the house of former prime minister of Thailand M.R.Kukrit. nice for a short visit, not a whole day out.
