We visited the place on Sunday evening. Really enjoyed our visit here and the building design is unique. The elevator is awesome with max speed of 480 m/min. It hardly takes a min to reach top floor. You won't feel the speed because of the led wall graphics. At the top floor, it was nice to see the 360° view of Bangkok. Sunset view was just amazing.

A cool place to visit. Unfortunately the sky glass is closed until April for renovations which is a bummer. But the view at the top is still great and not a lot of tourist too. They provide chairs at several point which is great so you can truly enjoy the view and try to be at the west side for sunset. You can't bring water or food as well as tripod and I think GoPro is also not allowed.

Pilgrimage to Thailand, this unique skyscraper seems to be integrated with the city view. After a long time, you will feel as if there is an illusion of flow. In the middle and high outer floors, the appearance of the top floor is like a mosaic stack. The effect of making the whole skyscraper indirectly reflect the color of the sky is a glass curtain building, which is not visually dull compared to ordinary skyscrapers, but has more features.

It's one of the tallest building in Thailand. And the view from top was so mesmerizing. Best time to visit is anytime. But I visited at sunset time and it was breathtaking. Cherry on top was Lift we used was full LED display lift. Worth a visit.

Yes, the price is excessive, but this was a very rewarding experience. If you enjoy people-watching, then you might get your money's worth: Bangkok is a very quirky and varied city from above... I could have spent hours staring at all the details from up here. The glass floor is a thrill and the flow of people is well managed to allow everyone to get a good photo. Obviously it's worth considering the timing of your visit to avoid crowds. The ban on bringing your own food and drink is strictly enforced, but there are free lockers after buying the tickets to store small items (too small for any luggage).

This is the tallest building in Bangkok and the famous sky walk is located in the 78th floor. The view from the rooftop is spectacular. There were many tourists at that time since it was the sunset viewing. Sunset viewing is better since it will be very hot during daytime. Sky walk are good for those people who are brave to face the heights 😂 and I am not one of them. 😅

The highest observation deck in Thailand! You can have a 360° view of Bangkok.. There is no time limit. I suggest you come from 5pm onward. So you can get the view of the day and the night too. You can also watch sunset up there. The glass tray is always crowded. Don't forget to use your shoes cover, put your bag at the rack and don't bring phone to the platform

Amazing tower. Long queue to buy a ticket so defiantly recommend to buy in advance. Arrived at a perfect time which was sunset so was at the top to see the sun go down, very busy with a DJ at the top so pretty load but great atmosphere. Would defiantly recommend. Great views.. going down took a long time too so expect to be waiting ..

Highest tower in Thailand that you could visit rooftop in 2020. The height of King Power Mahanakhon is 314.2 metre or 1,031 feet that is the 2nd height in Thailand(2020). There are 78 floors. This tower was opened in 2016. The view on rooftop was so amazed. If you enjoy city view, you should visit here. There are many rules for visit rooftop that are "Wear polite clothing" and "Don't wear sandal or flip flop" etc. If you want to enjoy dinner with city's bird eye view, there are restaurant and bar below rooftop. Highly recommended place to visited.

A key skyscraper to visit in Bangkok, has the tallest observation deck in Thailand at 314m, recommend staying for the sunset, awesome views. Visuals through the glass are a contrast under daylight and night lighting.

The top floor of the skyscraper is open to visitors. In October 2021, the cost for two people is 1060 baht. The view of bangkok from 314 meters is amazing. It has 360 degree viewing angle. There is also an area to skywalk which is very exciting. There is a cafe to buy drinks, but there was no alcohol sale. The number of seating areas to watch the view was sufficient.

Tallest building in Thailand located in Sathon area of Bangkok… it has observatory, roof top bar, thai restaurants in basement, even parking space, souvenirs shops… recommend to visit during sunset time to capture both sunset view and night view with city lights and traffic gridlock… you can also take pictures in glass floor… if you book via travel app you might get good combo deals upto 700B else if you buy direct in Mahanakhon it will be 880B for adult… for kids below 15years will be 250B…. Typically you might spend 2hrs…worth visiting if you are in Bangkok… highly recommended

Went on a Saturday mid day. It was very slow so I was able move around freely without a large crowd. There are two observation floors. The 73rd is indoor and the 74th is outdoors. Both offer a nice 360 degree view of the city. The glass floor walk is a bit of a novelty and is cool for a short period. I do not understand why they do not allow you to take photos when you are on it. The elevator ride is really cool. Overall it is very expensive for the entertainment value you get for it. I can't fully recommend it but for most it will be worth it to do once.

It's always exciting to be able to enjoy looking at a city from high above. To do so in Bangkok, one goes to the King power Mahanakhon and join the sky walk. It's very easy to get to, as it's right next to the BTS sky train Chong Nongsi station. If you want to beat the crowd and save some money, come during the week is best. This place is well managed by the staff and clean. The lift ride up and down alone are full of fun as the lift interior turns into a 3D movie, it's already very exciting by itself. Once you reach the top, take your own time to explore and look at Bangkok from all angles. To get the best of both worlds, see the magnificent sunset and how Bangkok turns into a city of lights, come around 5:30 pm, and hang around for at least a couple of hours. You will have gotten your ticket price worth. The highest part of the sky walk was under renovation at the time of this review. It will be opened again on April 12th, with a brand new sky bar.

As the highest observation deck in Bangkok, you can see the whole of Bangkok. When going up, you take the high-speed elevator that shows the video inside, and the observatory is composed of two levels. In the first observatory, you can see the information on the touch screen at the point where you can see the famous indoor observatory. The second observatory is outside when you take the elevator again, and there is a place where you can have a light drink. The floor is made of glass, so you can climb up and look down. (However, if you want to go down to the glass floor, you need to put on a shoe cover.) People with acrophobia are afraid. Where there is a glass floor, the staff at the observatory even take pictures. Even if it is called a landmark of Bangkok, it seems to be worth it. (It's just a bit expensive.)

Very nice rooftop and very organized. You get a free locker for your bags and food and drinks are not allowed. You can still get drinks at the top. Nice view of the city and 360 view as well inside and outside. There is some music playing and some outdoor seating too to chill

Fantastic panoramic view of the city, I went when there was a lightning storm which was a whole different experience altogether to see the city light up with every strike. After the lightening passed the outside top area was opened up which was good. Elevator ride is very fast but you hardly notice you are moving as it is so smooth. An absolute must visit if coming to Bangkok.

The best sky view of Thailand and the highest is very impressive. The lift goes from 0 m to 326 m in less than a minute and inside is full of screen. The roof top is amazing. We did it by night with the full moon and view was unbelievable. 1300 baths with one f’drink and you can choose all the drink except champagne. Quiet a nice price for this kind of experience

The trip to rooftop is fun! Elevators are filled with screens so you can watch while moving up. Since there are few tourists, the experience is quite peaceful. The views are amazing at sunset time. Going up after 8 pm, the tickets includes one drink. The only downside is that on the way from elevator to lobby, one has to pass too many Tax Free shops on a labyrinth path, it will evitably costs you.

Tallest building in Bangkok city. Skywalk, walking on glass about 300m above ground. The view of city scape is so awesome from that height. Sit back on top and enjoy the view of city with nice wind blowing. Must visit place and popular tourist attraction in Bangkok. The king power duty free shopping center is also located here.

amazing building of unusual architecture! the highest at the time of writing. Upstairs there is a beautiful observation deck, part of which is inside the building, and the rest with access to the street. There is an unusual balcony with a glass floor. Super experience within this modern urban architectural marvel. Plan to be there before the sunset. You can enjoy the 360 degree panoramic view of Bangkok with many photo opportunities. The sky walk is great. Make sure you have the sky walk on the glass tray before the sunset and with the sunset. You can capture great photos. Food and beverages served at the 78th floor cafe is great too You will not regret buying the ticket package with a photo album.

We went at 1pm and there was not wait and it wasn't busy at all perfect for when you have kids it gave them so much space and it was slightly cheaper. The view is amazing because Bangkok is so big the cityscape doesn't end. Negatives they don't allow any of your own food and drink but the prices for food and drink are a joke 150 bhat for a pack of crisps, 60 bhat for a can of coke. This alone made me take 1 star off. At the time of day 1pm it was very hot which made it hard to stay outside on the top floor for to long. I do highly recommend this place just be prepared for the high prices and heat in the day or crowds in the evening.

Fun place to hang out after a busy day of touring. Take the elevator up to the 78th floor and enjoy a spectacular view of the city. There is a bar with some light snacks and good cocktails. If you’re not afraid of heights, walking out on the glass deck is quite an experience. The views are fantastic both before and after sundown. Sharon asked for the senior ticket if you qualify as it is a terrific bargain.

This is one of the the most popular tourist attractions in Bangkok. We had visited the palace in the morning. Since it was a weekday the crowd was okay. The way to the top was quick. We could sit and take photos. Then we had to take another lift to the top... It was amazing view from up top. The main reason why people come here is to walk on the transparent Skywalk which is amazing. People who have fear of heights can see without stepping on the transparent glass. Definitely worth the experience.

I came here when the sky was so gloomy so the staffs warned us that they would close the place if rain falls. Luckily the weather were getting better and we could continue conquering our fears. 😂 I bought the ticket in advance, so I did not need to wait longer. We had to put out belongings into a locker, included in entrance ticket. There's entertaining screen inside elevator when you're going up. Nice place you must visit in Thailand!

Such a great attaction to visit! We went for the sky walk and spent about 900 THB per person with the a soft drink included! Here you will find one of the most amazing views of Bangkok and you can actually see 360 degrees around the entire city! On the top floor they have a restaurant and on the rooftop a bar! They also have a souvenir shop and coffee shop at the top so that you can enjoy the views with a coffee! One of the trending tourist destinations in Bangkok lately. You can go to the top floor of the building to enjoy an extraordinary view and challenge your adrenaline by walking on the glass floor. The entrance ticket to this area is relatively expensive, but it's worth it for those seeking stunning photo spots in Bangkok. It's advisable to book tickets through an app to avoid long queues, and visiting during sunset is more enjoyable as the view becomes more beautiful, and the weather is not too hot. However, one downside is the poor communication from the management; when I visited, there was a premiere event for the movie Ant-Man, which was not informed to visitors beforehand (I intentionally visited on a weekday, thinking it would be less crowded than on weekends). As a result, most of the tourist areas were inaccessible and crowded with guests from the event, including celebrities, influencers, and journalists, making it challenging to fully enjoy the beauty of the place.

One of the most famous attractions in Bangkok for those who are not scared of height and enjoy the bird eye panoramic view of the city from Thailand’s tallest building. The place is easily accessible from BTS Chongnonsi station and there is a food court available at the second level as well. There is a pub with live music and classy restaurant at the top floor as well if you like to enjoy some food with stunning views of Bangkok. Best timing to visit is around 6pm-7pm as you can check out the beautiful sunset and the night bright view at the same time.

Good place for a sick view over the main area of bangkok. Insane pane glass floor drop view from the top floor. And a gorgeous modern restaurant on the 70eths floors. (The restaurant menu is expensive cause it being quite luxurious there. And it only opens for lunch and dinner. Unless crowded reservations are likely needed). Best spot to reserve for two people, Specifically is the east corner opposite of the glass elevator. It is the best spot for absolutely all the reasons.

(Translated by Google) Went inside the building There will be staff to take pictures as well. But when you come down you have to come down to the 4th floor and walk down steadily. Passing various brands' shops until reaching the 1st floor, we thought that I would choose a picture on the first floor, but the staff said that normally had to look at the picture on the 4th floor and had to go back up So we haven't gone back up, it's a waste of time. My favorite part is the elevator. It is very magnificent. All around us are screens. And the most important thing is that it takes time to go up to the 76th floor, it is very fast, not tinnitus too. Upon reaching the 76th floor, we reserved it as an outdoor zone. Actually, there are many zones. But first time I want to go see the high view But get a blurry view from pm 2.5 instead. Next time I think that sitting in the inner zone is better. We hurry since 17:30. There are no people yet, so we can take comfortable photos. Food is fine. And can be ordered to share as well There is no need to order 1 course per person. Minus one star for the unnecessary high prices in the bar on the roof (your customers pay a decent amount in entry fee already just to go up there) No need to price gouge people that want a drink and chill in the sofas and watch the view. Cynical me can see that you'd rather want people to not stay too long up there. You want to make people move on to make room for the next group of high-entry-fee-paying customers coming up the elevator. Which brings me to the next minus star. The awful and annoying tourist labyrinth you arrive in on the way down. After standing in line for 20 minutes just to reach the elevator, a different elevator than the one you came up in... because they drop you off at the 3rd or 4th floor within a labyrinthian tourist trap of shops and winding halls that stretches all the way down to the exit (I didn't see any exit signs or directions to get out by the way. So just keep walking...) Although with all that said, I really liked it otherwise. The View from up there is just simply spectacular. The view i had of the city as the Thai sun was hitting the Chao Phraya River and the light reflecting off the water and the tiny windows was stunningly beautiful, i squint my eyes a little and took my sunglasses off and the city looked like a magical city made of crystals from some fantasy book or something. Very, very memorable. The brave ones venture out on the glass floor. (I didn't, forget it. No.) It's crowded up there, and a reasonably priced drink to enjoy would have been nice, but the view is simply killer. It's worth it in the end i feel.

Worth a visit just to experience the epic rooftop. It really is amazing and the glass floor will test your nerves. We also dined at the restaurant which was good, but was a bit like your generic upscale restaurant. Great but not much atmosphere and the menu was a bit limited. Breathtaking views of Bangkok skyline and cityscape. Good management and system - smae as other international tourist spots. Not so expensive, ... if you could snatch a deal (which is often on Klook or other tral el agent sites.) Recommend skywalk and sky deck. Go for sunset is the best. (during midday must be excrutiating hot...)

Whew! I don't live to indulge the triumphs of late stage capitalism, but this is a phenomenal experience overlooking one of the most vibrant cities in the world. Like everything in Thailand it is an overwhelming sensory experience. Drinks are very expensive but they are quite good. Mosquitoes are thick around sundown but let up after dark. Also fewer people after dark and a very cool giddy vibe of tourists & locals. As far as contemporary building tourism, this is very high quality. The glass try is much more freaky than I thought it would be! Oh! The gallery on 74th floor is quite informative though I wished for twice as many interactive exhibits. There is supposed to be a VR flyover on the first floor but it was closed for renovation when we were there until May 2022.

Went to the sky walk today to try out the glass tray. It was awesome! The view of Bangkok is just amazing. During weekday it was quite packed, especially in the afternoon. But i think it’s the perfect timing. Today was raining, so need to wait before they reopen the glass tray. And need to spend some time in the observation desk. But all is good. For the ticket only in the weekdays it costs 590 Baht per person. But they also offer some other packages that includes meal at Mahanakhon Cube (Thai Taste food court), or 3D game simulator, or a 3 piece framed photo. You can also booked the ticket online.

I went during evening time around 6.30pm. It was not very crowded, I would suggest to head there earlier so you would be able to catch the sunset. The view was amazing and it’s pretty awesome at how we chance upon fireworks. The drinks from the bars were good too. The best part would be that you will be able to stay till midnight!

This is definitely a must when in Bangkok. I happened to stay in Silom and only realized it was walking distance from my hotel. The sights are spectacular and worth the ticket price. The glass floor looking down 78 floors is quite an experience. My heart skipped a beat. Some of the staff, however, ought to be more friendly. Especially when it's all over and exiting, they want you to buy your photos. If you don't, their smile and professionalism fades. Before I go, because of the climate here, may I suggest that the observation deck be opened from 07:00-11:00 and 17:00-23:00 hours. The afternoon hours are way too hot and few would visit.

1 of the top skyscraper in Bangkok with amazing modern architecture design. I went to their skywalk to experience walking on the hanging glass floor and it’s really amazing because you can see the ground from 77 floors. Not recommend for those who paranoid with height. I suggest you to visit around 6pm till night. You can see clearly the sunset and magnificent view of Bangkok city.

  • 5/5 Alan B. 1 year ago on Google
A very worthwhile experience from start to finish. We bought tickets at the tower rather than prepaying. Prices seemed to be pretty much the same. The building itself is incredible. The elevator experience, the viewing floor and then the rooftop bar. All amazing things to see and experience. I ventured on to the glass floor for all of about 20 seconds. Enough to get a photo and that's it. My choice as I cannot stomach looking down at my expected doom. The bar on the roof can be a little bit more expensive than local places at ground level but I suppose you're paying for the best view in Bangkok. Have been told it is the go to spot for sunsets over Bangkok.

Amazing view, and totally breathtaking to walk upon the glass floor with Bangkok literally under my feet. Neat place, and quite efficient. A bit expensive though. Rooms for improvement: - Add an option to go back to the exit floor instead of having to walk through 4 floors of a mall to get out after finishing. - Maybe add an option at a lower price with a limited time to stay? Now the only option is to pay anout 800 (daytime) or about 1000 (evening), but you can stay as long as you want. - Information about expected waiting time before you buy tickets. We had to reschedule an appointment when we saw the line.

  • 5/5 Kareem A. 9 months ago on Google
The view from the roof of the building is amazing especially at Sunset time. Make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the sunset as the queue line gets long during that time. Don’t miss the 3D virtual games at the exit. Highly recommend overall.

  • 2/5 Dev S. 10 months ago on Google
Good for a short adventure. However, 1100 THB for viewing a city from a small glass platform is not worth it. Entry tickets are costlier in the evenings. They click a group photo on the ground floor before taking you to the top floor in the lift. Photos are not allowed to be taken on the Sky Walk. The group photo is edited with the background of the Sky Walk and shared later using the QR code in the tickets. Printed photos can be bought.

I have visited skyscrapers in Chicago, New York, London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Paris, Dubai and Tokyo. Happy to say that this was one of the better towers to visit. Great views, lovely bar by the sky deck for an al fresco beer or wine to take in the panoramic views as well. We were at the top for nearly 90 minutes and it was not too busy and no one was rushing us to come back down. Queue length was not painful in either direction either.

One of the tallest cities of the town from where you can have a glance of the vicinity of this beautiful city. River side, fairies, boats, roads, high towers even tuk tuk you can have a different view. Worth visiting this place but you will have to pay around 1000 baths or sometimes more than that for visiting the place. Their lift altogether gave a different mesmerizing experience.

We really recommend this viewing area. The views of Bangkok are amazing. The glass floor takes a bit of nerve to walk on!! There’s an indoor area with 360 glass windows or there’s the roof itself with a bar, chairs and stunning views from the top. Every time we go to a global city we search for these buildings so we can get unparalleled views and this one does not disappoint! Worth every Baht !!!!

  • 4/5 Rowan T. 8 months ago on Google
The view from the floor under the glass tray was phenomenal (see photos) and truly unravelled the intricacy on which Bangkok is built on. Definitely recommend sunset session. The DJ at the glass tray was great, and when we went up there were some lovely views as the sun sank below the horizon.

  • 5/5 Josh I. 5 months ago on Google
Loves the Skywalk. Views across Bangkok are amazing and the glass walkway is loads of fun, our toddler loved it! We also had a couple of cocktails and ice cream from the bar up there, which were great. Well worth the ticket, don’t rush, spend some time up there and enjoy the view with a drink.

I was on the tower to view the sunset and I was not disappointed. The view is really great. There was also a DJ playing in the evening. The queue at the entrance was already quite long at 5pm, so it's worth buying your ticket online. I was able to get past everyone and go directly to the lift. Larger bags have to be locked in a free locker. Photos are taken of you at the beginning, which you can access and download online at the end (but this could vary depending on the type of ticket). Of course, you can also buy printed photos for 200 baht each. There is also an exhibition of Bearbrick on display at the moment. Nevertheless, I find the price of 1300 baht a bit much.

Lovely experience to be on the top and click pictures of the beautiful city scape. I recommend take the evening time as you can see the city in daylight and also after the sunset. Get good camera to click pictures with you! The one problem is that the place is super crowded and the tickets are kinda expensive. Boom tickets online otherwise you'll be stuck for a long time in the tickets queue here.

Its a spectacular experience to be on the glass floor on top of the building and witness Bangkok transition into glittering city in the evening. So best time to go is during sunset. And the authority knows it so they have changed the fee structure. They charge aprx 1080 Baht at evening time and before that the cost reduces to 800+ Baht. The place is overcrowded during sunset so that is a turn off. Management could have done better on the excessive price.

My visit to King Power Mahanakhon in Bangkok was a mix of highs and lows. The ticket price of 1120 THB felt worthwhile for the stunning views from Thailand's tallest building – they were simply breathtaking and left me speechless. The place was bustling with visitors, which added to the lively atmosphere. However, not everything was up to the mark. The soft drinks offered were a letdown, and the staff's service didn't quite meet expectations. A significant drawback for me and my friend was the restriction on cameras within the glass skywalk area, which made capturing those memorable moments a challenge. We struggled to get good photos and were unable to record videos through the glass – a bit of a disappointment for any avid photographer or souvenir collector. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive. The panoramic views of Bangkok are something I'd recommend to anyone seeking a new perspective of the city. Just be prepared for a few rules that might limit your photo opportunities, and manage your expectations when it comes to refreshments and service.

Well, I am scared of heights and so this was a real test of courage! Incredible views and a fantastic experience. From the 3D rapid lift ride to the 74th floor viewing point, to the glass lift ride to the final viewing platform, the suspense builds. I was proud to be able to step out onto the glass platform, but a word of advice - don’t look down as you do it- look across and when you get a bit of confidence then try and look down. We did this during the day, before lunch and it was quite quiet. As we were leaving after lunch there were lots more people, so I would say come early. We also got the photo package which was good and included a virtual video of the walk. There’s also a bar right at the top which was nice, but it was hot up there as there is no shade other than back in the building. All in all a fab trip. We then went into Lumpini Park which was a short train ride away if you want to make a day of it.

The skywalk observation deck in the tallest building in Bangkok offers a mesmerizing view from above, providing a unique and breathtaking experience. Walking on the glass walk is particularly thrilling as there's nothing below but the cityscape. The roads and traffic visible through the glass add an extra dimension to the experience. Overall, it's a good experience, offering a stunning perspective of Bangkok from the heights of the city's tallest building. Note: Foods and beverages are not allowed to take. Security check team will keep all items with them and it can be retrieved afterwards.
