This is my fave spot of Bangkok. Why? Because this is where locals live, shop, eat and interact. In the front is flower distributors, then warm food vendors, in the middle is the dining area. Then behind is fruits and veggies. Of course, it is in reverse order if you come in from the back. We have tried so many different dishes here. People don’t speak English, but they are genuinely nice and friendly. Smile is the universal key to communicate and we use this to get different food. We don’t know what we were getting. They all taste great and authentic. I don’t see tourists here. And we get to enjoy the local life style and taste like locals. If I ever come to Bangkok again, this is the first stop I will make. Try it, you will not regret.

First time to this market. They have cooked food, fruits, vegetables and even an area where you could dine after doing some groceries. Their fruits and vegetables is slightly pricey but quality wise, I can assure you it's all good, high grade quality. What is interesting, they actually have placed a row of benches, if you've decided to eat fruits you've just purchased eg. Durian as you cannot take it in most public transport because of the smell. Overall, a clean market with good quality produce! Definitely worth it!

We visited it on a Friday when the market place was no too crowded. Everything here on sale is of high quality, a visitor can enjoy the enormous variety of products from this fantastic country, spices, herbs, fruits... there is a separate section where you can sit, relax and eat the food and drinks available there. Very well organized, clean, highly recommended

I went on a food tour recently in Bangkok that took us here, and I’m so glad that we came! There are a lot of rules at this market that vendors have to abide by, including showing of all prices and rules regarding appropriate measurements of products. I bought quite a few things and never felt like any of the vendors scammed me as a foreigner. I also love how fresh everything is here and how clean the entire market is. We barely finished our meal before the cleaning people came to clean the tables and this really helped to ensure a clean overall atmosphere. Although the prices are a bit higher, I would recommend to foreigners because of everything I mentioned above!

A fabulous gourmet food market 5 minutes walk from Chatuchak Market or the MRT station. Come here if you are a bit of a foodie and want to see / taste / buy the absolute best of fresh Thai seafood, fruit and vegetables, or dried snacks. For premium fruit, such as durian, you can ask to taste first. The prices are generally fair. You can buy as little as 100g to taste what is arguably the world's best Durian. Avoid the cheap, smelly durian, and treat yourself to some quality durian, one that's absolutely delicious, lightly fragrant, with a custard like texture. There are food stalls that sell a wide range of traditional Thai favourites. It's quite hot here at times, (mostly no aircon) dress lightly. The fresh coconuts on sale really help, 50 baht each. If you need a break from the heat, check out the Royal Project shop, there's a cafe at the side with air con and decent coffee. Parking is tight here but not expensive. If you can't get a space here, consider parking at J J Mall and walking from there (10 mins). If you're really into your food or are looking for some insta. pics, Or Tor Kor market is well worth your time and effort. 👌

A good and clean market for fruit, vegetables, dry foods, fresh fish etc. as well as local cooked food. Good quality fruits and some reasonable prices given the high quality. Well worth a visit. Use exit no 3 from the subway metro station for easy access.

One of the best markets in Bangkok for quality and variety. It is clean and orderly, and well maintained. It has fresh food, seafood, fruit and vegetables, and an excellent range of hot food of all types. We had crab curry in coconut milk and tumeric, crispy pork belly and Isan sausage, plus a bunch of other snack things too. It also has clothing and jewelry, and other various things too.

During Covid-19 situation, I think OR Tor Kor that used to be so crowded, were very empty of people. The sellers were said to discount the fresh food. I got the Durian for a very reasonable price 👍😁.

Clean local modern wet market. Very pleasant to stroll around. Anything you want you’ll get it here. From clothing, jewelry to cakes and durian. Modern cafe on the outskirts across the road.

Was not aware that there is such huge market near Chatuchak market. A lot of local food shops inside. I had lunch at one of the shops and it is good. Looks like people living around here love to come here for daily dining.

Or tor market. Has a large nursery with various plants and flowers. All are well kept and very beautiful. Most plants are large in size. If you enter car parking, on the right is a market selling foods, vegetables and clothing, and cutlery. The market is clean and thai people are very creative. Full recommendations.

Very clean wet market with a big variety of foods and goods for sale. There is a big variety of hot food to eat here from many different cuisines. Bathrooms here are 5baht. Worth a visit here to chill out, we got caught in a big rain and spent some time here. Watch out for exposed drainage.

Not cheap but high quality and unique produce. Can see that the place is still supported by locals too. Excellent confectionery with local Thai desserts with unique offerings. Don't miss out on the grilled chicken (gai yang) too!

Good outdoor market with lots of options. They have high quality frozen steaks with nice marbling. Seafood is fresh and a large variety of fruit. The medium grade durian was very tasty but be sure you understand what you’re purchasing because the price difference in durian can be 300-900 baht a piece. I opted for a 300baht piece and it was delicious durian. Across the large durian stand was a comfortable coffee shop. The shop makes acceptable lattes and the seating area is beautiful. If your in search for some high quality meat such as seafood and steaks so that you can later cook yourself this is a good location to get your meat.

This place is great. I actually went to Chatuchak after and glad I went to Or Tor Kor Market first. It’s far less frenetic and there are great stalls with fruit and veg I’ve never seen. Plus plenty of cheap eats. I actually enjoyed here more than Chatuchak.

Went here to taste thai local durian (Chanee/ Kanyao) but we just came in a wrong time. Only monthong available and the price was quite high at this time. The shopkeeper told us to come in again in month 4/5/6 in order to try their local durian

Nice, clean and well organized fresh food, ready to eat food and household essentials goods market. Their fresh food (especially the seafood sessions) is very good quality, you can find the Giant river prawn at the length of an arm at this market. But take note that due to the high quality of the produced, the price is also relatively high compared to others local fresh market in Bangkok.

A sensational market for fresh produce. Tried a durian there, and also maprang, rosy apple, salacca and jackfruit. Excellent range of mangoes and seafood. Small food court. Overall high quality produce.

Good to have a lot of things, especially if you're looking for fresh foods and groceries. The sellers here are all very friendly and able to answer us what we're looking for. They have a lot of foods to choose from, all good and yummy! Sellers are very friendly too!! Recommended to find the soup in the picture 3, nice!

Fresh seafood market. The price is a little high, but worry free shopping here because you will get the high quality food.

A high end open air market 🤓 while some of the items are under the OK standard of spending...(Paiseh... I am not those rich tourist lah🤓 and would like to pay the usual not the hyper tourist or Atas pricing) Many others are way above... Perhaps its of more quality 🤔 do compare pricing as there may have 2 or more shops that are selling the same items or food items.

28th January 2023 This is one of my favourite places in Bangkok. I love hunting for foods and fruits here, just ways too many choices. Most of the vendors here are very friendly and approachable. I will definitely come again.

A bit expensive but they claim that it's a quality products. Hot. No aircon in general. Traffic, not enough parking as it's for middle to high class people to shop. Convenient to go by MRT but a long walking distance for BTS.

A good variety of dried goods such as dried shrimp, garlic, and onions as well as fresh fruits and cooked food! Our guide mentioned that this market has won an award before, and it's considered A grade market. True enough, cleanliness is impeccable, and the way the vendors arrange their goods are also very neat and presentable.

Food, fruits, cooked food and street food! Lots of durian as we came during the season. Saw giant lychees too. Cost 95 baht for sweet pork rice.

Here we can get so many kinds of fruits. It is fruits market. Durian sells in every shop. But we can also get some snack, meal, fresh friuts juice, fresh vegetable and fish, and many seasoning. Just drive with MRT from chatuchak park.
