This hostel is very nice the room is clean. We went for one night and me less a star because you have to deposit 500 THB for a person and 1,000 for a group and they will give you back if you don't smoke in the room also towel you have to rent 40 THB for one. The bathrooms are clean they have 3 bathrooms with soap and shampoo. For security, they have a key card for access in the hostel. Everything is good overall is nice.

This place is really lovely. It is immaculate, modern and comfortable. The staff are warm and easy to work with. Your things are safe and security is not a problem. The place is a bit off the beaten path so it's quiet and the secured entry is very nice. I hope to stay here again.

Good place, good accomodations, great crew and great price! This place is best for group travelers. The crew were very sweet and welcoming! Makes you feel at home. Location is a bit far from the markets and temples but aside from that, this place is perfect.

First, when we reach te hostel, the owner is not at the reception counter. Luckily, our driver helps us to call the owner. The hostel has no lift due to the stair is hard to walk up. The location is not really near with most of the attractions, the nearest bts/mrt station also quite far away. But the room is clean, owner is nice, there's a market down there which will convenient us to buy breakfasts.

It's a hidden gem in local neighborhood! An excellent quality of a hostel. Met some cool people there and had great times together! Owner is such a nice lady. Good luck, The Backpack Hostel!

The place is cozy. I was able to sleep well after long hours of touring Bangkok. Best for backpackers with a group of 6.

Stayed here for a few nights with friends and found this place is decent. Location wise, it is situated in the nearby chinatown and tourist attraction sites, so thats the upside. However the downside will be it is not that nearby public transport and the building is placed on the alley which even local (i.e. tuktuk driver) not aware of the location. The host is friendly, but not always immediately available despite we have made calls to the stated mobile number. Facilities wise be it the room, shower and other facilities are decent just like any other hostel. Overall it is decent experiences which can be improved as per above feedback.

Probably one of the best Hostels in Bangkok. The owners are incredibly sweet, helping out with anything they can. Very clean and quite new. The only real downside I see is that there are no curtains on the beds for some privacy but other than that it‘s a 10/10 especially if you consider the price!
