Ok, I walked to the security and asked him if there's entry. The security asked me for the passport as if he was ok with me entering . I showed him the copy of my passport on my phone. He then asked me if I have booked the table. I said no, but was willing to pay the entry fee if there was one. He mentioned foreigners need to reserve a table and there's no walk in. So, in that case, why did the security ask for the passport first? First, you should have asked if I have a reservation and proceeded from there. I have partied in many places across Asia. You guys need to learn a thing or two about how to treat your customers. Most importantly, teach your security some basic respect and etiquette. It was a mistake on my part walking to your club before reading other reviews. Many others have clearly mentioned racist behavior towards dark skinned people, especially Indians by the security. If you have the courage, put a board outside saying Indians are not allowed. You cowards will never do that. Also, people looking to party in the RCA area, go to the next club Onyx. The staff is very respectful and the club is great too.

One of the oldest Dance club , if not the oldest left on RCA left. Always make it a point to come visit when i'm in Bangkok. DJ was good, Hip hop and K-pop music with Music Videos on the big screen. Apparently a good place to get lucky too

Shocking experience. Staff were so rude , made you pay 5000 baht for a vodka bottle and 4 red bulls to get in along with a lateral flow test before which meant there were hardly any people in there . Most shocking club I’ve ever been to and highly recommended NOT to come !

If you’re coloured, don’t waste your time - they won’t let you in. They will say you need a “booking” or reservation to enter. When I attempted to make a reservation (via email/WhatsApp) for the following weekend, they mentioned they only do walk-ins and reservations are not available. After reading some of the older Google reviews (from other coloured people) I realize they discriminate against darker coloured people. Quite unfortunate.

I love that club! I went there many times in my stay in BKK. It’s mostly Korean guys and Thai girls. However- If you’re from India they won’t let you in, they are very racists. Even me as a Brazilian when I wanted to book a table they didn’t allow me. They treated me not in a nice way. But the music is good, and the place is amazing and super “instagramable”. They have three different rooms with different types of music, plus a huge outdoor area full of sofas for people to sit, talk and smoke. Many bars where you can order drinks. The girls toilet is super fun, there’s a live band in the toilet(!), a huge and funny banana statue, a pool full of balls that you can enter and a huge polar bear statue that they let you sit on to take pics! The drinks aren’t expensive at all compared to other clubs. In my opinion, it’s worth the visit.

Good place and good music, entrace tickets are 300 baht per person and you can get a table if you buy a whiskey bottle for about 5000baht. Decent value for the price. It can get quite busy in weekends so make sure you come early.

The crowded conditions intensified the drawbacks, requiring constant maneuvering through the throng and unintentional disruptions to others' drinks. While Route 66 Club may offer an enticing environment, the negative aspects, particularly the discriminatory entry policy and high costs, overshadowed the potentially enjoyable elements of the venue. It's disappointing to encounter a place with such promise fall short due to issues of inclusivity and value for money. Considering the plethora of alternative clubs in areas like Sukhumvit, Siam, or Khaosan that offer both a warm reception and better value, Route 66 Club falls short. I would highly recommend exploring other nightlife venues in these areas where guests are genuinely welcome, and the overall experience aligns more closely with expectations. A positive and inclusive environment is key to an enjoyable night out, and there are certainly better options in Bangkok that provide just that. Giving two stars only because of the good ambience. Otherwise I would have not given any stars to this place.

One of Bangkok's RCA clubs. Place was a little bit packed when we went. It was not as rowdy pre pandemic years but still a good place to go to though. Music was great and drinks were priced okay. You have to get an antigen test before entering (priced around 100 baht if i remember correctly)

Pure racist towards darker skinned people. Didn't let in twice in a raw. We were asked to pay way more than the normal price or get a table inside. Suggesting people not to visit ever since.

dancehead here. this place is best for hang out with close friends or a person I want to impress. avoid it if you want dancing. this place is for hook up. if you want a vibrant crowd find somewhere else. the problem goes on; I've given 3 stars because the sound is way too loud, almost causes hearing loss and the crowd seems to be indifferent to each other. the place is spacious and prices are a-ok for this sort of club but really does not work for dancing nor hookups. the music is pretty generic. plus, paid covid test on site is necessary for entrance. (come to think of it, it is expensive to some degree)

2 EDM and 1 ‘hip hop’ room. All now have whiskey tables gridded across the dance-floors - this mutes the atmosphere. Music isn’t great - all 3 rooms morph into bpm trance versions of naff chart anthems. Fun can still be had mingling with locals having a singalong.

This place in insane! In a nutshell, it’s as if we went to the Mori Museum in Japan on acid. Route 66, in RCA, is about a 30 minutes drive from Pratunam area and your average grab ride will set you back about 150b. It won’t be hard to find the place since pretty much it’s a go to area for locals as well. Route 66 is split into 3 areas, a live band, hip hop R&B, and EDM. The live band area is full of locals, since the songs are mostly in Thai. There’s no dance floor here, unless you plan to dance around the tables. Hip-Hop / R&B room was fun. Mixed crowd of locals and foreigners, but same deal as well since there’s no dance floor. To properly enjoy this, you’ve gotta order a bottle and the staff will seat you at the tables. Dance floor is located in the EDM room but prepare your senses! This was our favourite room. No tables, just one big dance floor made from LEDs. Everything in the room is lighted so enjoy that sensory overload. Drinks are decent, about 200b and if you wish to go for low caloric drinks, there’s always highballs. In all, great place, will definitely check this place out again next time I’m in BKK.

Well, we got thrown out because we were dancing too much. Apparently that disturbed the vibe there. Honestly, just go to onyx next door. Atleast they don’t throw you out for dancing.

They ask vaccination test right at the place! They literally spared a budget for healthcare workers and the system- which is not written anywhere! So if you dont know this club, you need to predict this. Even we have vaccination cards, they didnt accept! They lost 9 tourist income. I mean, the country accepts travelers with vaccination card, and you dont..... thats sarcastic. Not recommended. Ps.we wouldnt mind the rules if the staff at the gate wasnt that much rude. we dont expect a huge smile but there was no single kindness.

Great EDM club in Bangkok. Spacious with 3 rooms (1 main + 2 small). It was crowded on Wed, vibrant! Ticket at 200THB including 1 free drink. Btw you have to do a covid test right at the entrance.

After being denied entry at Onyx we went to Route 66 where the same thing happened. My friends and I were denied entry on a bogus excuse of needing advanced booking to get in. That’s never been the case before. We were willing to buy bottles too. Also since when Route not allow you in even if you don’t wanna get a table. You could always go in and enjoy drinks without a table. Something was off last night and turned out to be a huge waste of time. Also the bouncers were super rude to us. Definitely racist. Terrible. Best club in Bangkok among the ones I have been to. Mainly have 4 parts, Live Music, Disco floor, DJ floor, outdoor sitting. No hunky-punky and good club to be with your friends and partner. Must bring passport though for foreigners.

A great place to relax at the weekend with your friends. Most of the people here are Thai, only a few foreigners, which is great if you would like to find out how the locals relax. The place has three rooms with different type of music, and outdoor seating.

Not great for young people. Average age felt like 23-25. No one was dancing because there isn’t a dance floor, just tables. Do not go here if you are looking to meet people.

Went there during week day. Price is around 200 baht for a drink. Have entry fees which included a drink. Hip hop area was pretty full, good. But edm area was empty, totally empty I was a bit sad 😢 the tunes were decent, felt bad for the DJ. I’m not a local, and entered the club fine, security didn’t give me any trouble. Awesome interior, separated as 3 sections. First section is very calm and relaxing mode were light music is performed by artists. One can take a nice nap here enjoying the light music. Extreme ambiance and calm atmos. Lighting is also very good. Second section is good for light moves. Here you can see display underneath showing several dance graphics. Semi-dj types of songs are played here. Those who likes to dance little moves can join here. Third section is the main one. Here DJ artists performs thrilling mixes and one can really enjoy the music. Ultimate lighting with powerful sound. Awesome experience, you should never miss it. Must go place.

I was sceptical to go to this club after reading the reviews about racism. Last night I went with my friends and had the time of my life. I'm the only black person in our friend group. I thought they would stop me from entering but they were rather nice ,including the staff inside the club. I will be going again. We all paid 300 baht entrance fee and got a token for a free drink.

Amazing place for party lovers. They have 3 different halls with 3 different ambiance. First hall from the entry gate is kind of calm soothing type of music ambient. 2nd hall is more like live rock music and the 3rd one is for EDM. I went to 3rd hall where they play awesome electro music. They have awesome DJs, mind blowing lighting shows with very good crowd. Also they have huge outside zone where you can sit, relax ,smoke and have drinks as well.
