👍👍 Bought a 2hr Muay Thai class on Klook and found it worthwhile! The facility is quite new and clean. There's a changing and shower area, although toilet is located in the food market downstairs. Instructors are friendly and funny. Works like a circuit training so it was a fun work out. Will recommend if you are looking for a beginner class to Muay Thai. There are more options for different types of classes.

Great gym! For any level of fighter. I love the vibes in this gym, they will make you relax with jokes around. It is not serious, but professional. I did both the private and group section. Honestly both are good. As a beginner you will learn a lot! Also what I have liked is that they let you find your own technique (they don't fuss about every step, as a beginner u would get crazy). Honestly if you wanna budget and have a longer time, go for the group section. U will learn a lot, as they have many great teachers!!! Thank you Watchara!

The gym is hidden in this outdoor food centre. Opt for drop in - THB 460 per class; slightly under the other gyms that priced at THB 500. The 90 mins class includes simple warm up followed by introduction/shadow boxing, 6-7 rounds of padwork with trainers, 10 mins of techniques work & 5 mins of cool down. Both lockers with keys & pigeon holes are available to keep your belongings. Suitable for both beginners and advanced. Trainers are friendly & polite.

WOW,,,they really take their Muay Thai serious. My first lesson, I am a complete newbie, talk about getting tossed into the fire. End of lesson I was put into the ring to spare with my trainer on what I learned. Don't do this if you are out of shape, I run 10k every morning and this was tough.

My trainer "A" was AMAZING. Made my 1st time a blast.. Got some laughter, some sweat, and a nice warm up. Very thorough with the techniques; overall had fun learning how to throw punches knees and kicks. Highly recommend and very affordable!

Signed up for a private class for my whole family including my 70 year old dad and 67 year old mom and my two sisters in their 30s. Trainer A was awesome, taught very well, and most importantly provided a lot of laughter and even did some really playful “sparring” with the whole family. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The owner, Beer, is very responsive on emails for class booking and very nice. Very very reasonable price and clean facilities!

Good experience to learn Muay Thai, including elbow, hook, kicking, and knee. It goes without saying you will really like the gym here; in addition, coach is handsome and professional!

I practised with trainers and brothers A and Tien on two separate occasions and found them to be really professional and friendly. I immensely enjoyed our sessions and they both really pushed me to get my forms right, while having a good laugh. Thanks to Beer for also helping me set up the appointment. A great training ground with a community-like feel. Will come back again!

The gym is centrally located (a few minutes walk from Phloen Chit BTS station), clean, equipped with air-con, two changing rooms and one shower. Facilities also includes most of what you may expect from a Muay Thai gym : heavy bags, pads, hand wraps, gloves, ring, skipping ropes etc... The group class (90min long) follows a classic design : mild intensity warm up exercises, then you switch alternatively between hitting the bag and pad work with a coach (2 or 3 min) with some light fitness exercises between rounds, and you finish with some exercises on the bags (a few basic combos, knees and kicks) plus a quick stretch to finish. It seems coaches take it easy overall in this gym but they do the job and they will adjust the intensity according to what they can see in you (fitness and/or skills level) and you can ask them to push you as well. I had a very good time training there as I indeed managed to somehow communicate what I came for. So if you know what you want and let their team know, you are likely to have a really good time over there. Plus, they are nice, responsive and their prices are more than reasonable. I will go there again.

The best Muay Thai gym in Bangkok! I have been to many Muay Thai gyms all over Thailand and this is my favorite gym by far. The trainers are professional, excellent skill set and great energy. They teach all levels and make you feel welcomed. The class is well structured, the gym has many different types of bags, ring and equipment. Also it is air conditioned which helps. Great price. Great people. So happy I found this gym. Thanks guys!

Excellent workout! I ve been to Bangkok for 1 week and I wanted to have an authentic Muay Thai experience and this gym delivered an excellent service! It’s for all levels and the trainers will assign you to the correct group according to experience. I recommend to text them 1 day in advance cause it’s pretty busy and to arrive at least 20min before the session. Many thanks again to the trainers

Nice Muay Thai club located close to Nana The staff is friendly and speak well English Good Muay Thai classes. They adapt the level to each participants, so you might have some new beginners in the group however teacher will adapt the pad and sparring to your level. Good atmosphere, price for one session was 490 baht. It can be more cheaper if you take more classes There are 5-6 group sessions per day ( close on Sunday) and you can book a 1 to 1 if you need it for a more expensive price They have a shower if you need to take it on site

Super awesome, we traveled to Bangkok for only a few days of tourism and booked a private class for two people together - nice way to catch a breath when the instructor is working on the other person :) Tien, our instructor was very fun and nice. Although it's our first and only class this time, we did manage to go through basic boxing, kicks, spinning elbows, and even sparring with the instructor (shin guards on). The gym is very clean and absolutely female friendly (and it's a pleasant experience even for people who's not used to this type of environment - they train in bare foot but the floor is very clean, etc.) I think the space is bigger than the pictures showed. We loved it and will return next time we visit! *Remember to bring your own water.*

First Muay Thai experience and I had a fantastic time. The instructors were fun, helpful and kind to me as a beginner. Gym is air-conditioned, they have a place to shower/rinse off and gear/gym is very clean. Really enjoyed my first class! Cost was 460 baht for 1 class.

It's just near Nana Plaza, with convenient transportation. The instructor is very good. It's suitable for beginners, people with good physical strength and skills. You can book private lessons with the instructor, which is a great experience.

I took 2 private classes , and I love training here. I think the teachers were able to quickly grasp the level of each individual - and adjusted the training based on this. Which is super important not only for beginner, but also for those who have previously taken Muay Thai classes. As I sit on the later part, my teachers (Bun and Thien. I had two different teachers for the two days, and both are fun to work with) told me they have 1 goal in mind: to improve my technique. They really drilled on this. They took the time to fix some of my techniques, starting from basic jab / strike to elbow to foot work. And everything was done in a professional, yet fun manners! Changing room, rest room, showers are all available - and they are super clean. AC was good - which I am sure this is needed by many. But I actually would prefer to work in a half-open air area. It's just my habit, I guess. All and all - as a traveller, would recommend this place to fellow travellers who are looking to take a few classes, regardless of whether you're a beginner or have had some experience. Thanks again, Bun and Thien for the great classes. Hope this review helps.

This Muay Thai studio provides excellent guidance, ensuring you learn the necessary skills with a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. The instructors are not only skilled but also genuinely kind, creating a comfortable environment where you feel accepted. Just call before arrival. Highly recommendable.

It’s great and precise. You can directly add a line to make a reservation. The coaches are friendly and can speak English. The process is not lazy and it is extremely precise. The snacks outside are cheap and huge and delicious.

I had the pleasure of spending a week there and I can only recommend it. The owner (Beer) is very polite and respectful as well as the other trainers. The trainers are seemingly always in a good mood but still professional, overall I don’t see how you could go wrong with this gym especially in such a great location.

Amazing gym. My first time trying muay thai it was great. Teacher was very patient and really pushed me to go beyond my limits. I left sweating but with a great smile. Would reccomend to anyone wanting to try muay thai. The gym is air-conditioned and they have all the gear you would need. There was nobody else scheduled so it was a 1 on 1 session. There's also a 7-Eleven right by it which is very convenient and it's right by the ploen chit BTS station. Bring water but if you forget they can also provide a bottle for 10 Baht.

Great place to train. Their drop in price is a little under 500 THB. They provide you with wraps and gloves. They do warm ups, pad work, and they let you spar towards the end letting you borrow shin guards as well. I highly recommend this gym. Just make sure you book in advance. It can even be same day

Amazing gym and funny and welcoming kru who can adjust the level of the training to student. I’m begginer in Muay Thai but I enjoyed it very much. Might not be best match for professionals but if you’re not a pro fighter you will enjoy it. Also price was decent

This place sparked my addiction to Muay Thai. Was in Bangkok for 5 days and wanted to get an authentic Muay Thai experience in. This gym did not disappoint! It's a smaller gym, but the upside is that you get smaller classes and more pad work with their coaches. Classes are also super affordable. Best gym in Sukhumvit area!

We stayed in a hotel nearby and found Watchara gym via Google Maps. I called the club, and we could have a private lesson even the same day. Together with my wife and 2 daughters (9 and 12), we got a Muay Thai initiation lesson: we all learned the basics (after a warmup). The trainer and owner were both very kind and we all found it a joy to get acquainted with Muay Thai. We paid 2150 baht for 90minutes of training (for 4 people). We can certainly recommend Watchara, for both beginners or more experienced fighters.

Had a great lesson here! Traffic was horrible and I was late thanks to a taxi driver but Instructors were very helpful and asked me to come in anyways because better to be late and trying than not having come at all. Super friendly people, don’t hesitate to come here to try out a Muay Thai lesson! Everyone here is very passionate and great to talk to! Had a great kick from all the exercises, punches, kicks and elbows. They will give you some basic drills and combos, super worth it!

We had a beginner training session with M and totally enjoy the moment with him despite language barrier. There is no language barrier in muay thai btw. If i am back, I will definitely go back for another session. M will look at each individual form to push us accordingly. Highly recommended!

Signed up for a private session in a group of 4 and we thoroughly enjoyed our session. The instructor started off with a warm up and taught us the basic punches, kicks and blocks. We also got the chance to get into the ring and practice those moves one on one with the instructor as the rest of the group work on punches and kicks with the sandbag. Core and strength work is also added in between the exercises. Gym is also clean with changing rooms and showers for you to freshen up after your session. Overall a very enjoyable session and is a good introduction to muay thai. It definitely ignited our curiosity and passion for the sport. Do reserve in advance and try them out!

Booked on Klook and this is so much fun! I fell in love with MuayThai after having my first MuayThai class here! Even after going back to my country, I am still training MuayThai. It’s all because of here! It’s super super tiring but satisfying as well!

  • 5/5 Samir S. 11 months ago on Google
Great group class energy! The trainers push you really hard, but it’s also not an intimidating atmosphere for beginners which is great. For me coming with no formal fighting experience the trainers were able to adapt the training to suit my needs within the group class.

Took a 1.5 hour duo lesson with my partner here and would recommend. We got a great workout and the instructor taught us the basic attacks and defenses in the martial art. I'm not sure how people do a private lesson because we took turns sparring and the break was appreciated.
