I was beyond shocked when I found out that the ever so rude receptionist wearing a Make America Great Again hat at the desk was actually the owner of the hostel. Though it’s excused when you think of all the fun things they have. For example, despite being 20+ years old to smoke they don’t ID for anyone (even locals), and they even sell THC vape pens which usually are illegal in Thailand. It’s also a great place to get alcohol from 9am until 2am, which is so cool since the law prevents other stores from selling during two periods of time daily. So overall if you have one of the female receptionists and not the cranky Chinese guy then you can have a good time, also lobby is open 24 hours a day.

For location they are great for getting around, about a 30 minute walk from the Train line. For service that’s where things get tricky, the owner was very rude and it felt like he was looking down at customers for making the life choice of smoking. Despite that weird aspect of this place I should note that as a dispensary is infinitely better than the hostel. So if you’re looking to come smoke somewhere this place is good for prices. J For smoking and general fun time celebrating this is a great place to come, you can even get a THC vape, hard to find around here unless you have 4K baht to drop, but here it’s cheaper. Only notes are you will be verbally assaulted by the owner if you smoke outside weed, but the employees don’t mind as long as you aren’t rude. Also please be careful entering and interacting with the owner if you are black. I’d give one star, but they has an indica that got me enough that I have to at least double the rating up to 2 stars.

The service is so terrible. First thing I saw when I arrived, there're many people waited in the front because there's no reception standing by at the counter, no staff at all. We have no idea if this place is still working or not. No direction. Not even the sign to let us know if the staff is on the break or go somewhere. The contact number is also not working, nobody answer the phone. Some of us have to wait since the check-in time(1pm.) until 4~4:30pm. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable. Then they gave us the excuse that they only have one staff(which I found out later she's also a guess who have the owner contact) at the moment who have to standing by all night so she will only start working from the evening. This person just do it to trade with the place to stay due to the pandemic situation. I think if they are not ready to reopen then they shouldn't Bad hostel experience ever!

Bit of a weird vibe, owner makes you give a 5 star review in return of a free joint. Hence all the 5 star reviews. Heard the staff making women feel uncomfortable telling them how to seduce a man in small underwear and how to lay to make them happy.. beds are literally styrofoam and so uncomfortable. Place has potential but as is right now, just kinda weird.

I went to this hostel 3 times just to hang out in the living room and everytime I saw the owner being very disrespectful and rude to his employees. The people that work there are so welcoming and good worker but the owner put them down or talk to them like they mean nothing. I choose to never give money to this place, there is a bunch of other smoke shop and hostels around even better and cheaper than this one. People with power need to understand that they could not do this job without the employees and that they need to treat us with respect.

On check in staff throw a joint at you and claim that they are high. State that you can only pay with cash. Bed frame was broken in room, with that - mattress is completely broken down so incredibly uncomfortable. There are PVC pipes of the toilets and showers running through the rooms and you can therefore hear everything that passes through. Hostel is also really noisy at night with people smoking weed until the early hours - this will keep you up. Strange thing is that the staff seem to be fully engaged in this with residents and have no concern/ regard for other residents staying. I would not recommend this hostel - it’s really not fit for purpose, is uncomfortable and at times unsafe given staff are under the influence.

Decent hostel with dispensary and smoking lounge. But the AC is off from 12-2/3pm everyday and the female dorm does not even get that cool just not unbearable. Gets hot stuffy and stinky in the rooms!

Great cheapest hostel I could find in Bangkok, it is also a dispensary but once you’re out of reception you wouldn’t notice. We booked a dorm we were the only ones in the room, the rooms were secure with good ac. Not the best area of town as you have to get a grab unless you want to spend hours in traffic on a bus but if you want to be close to Khaosan road then your sorted.

The service was super good But...! the room was dirty, my bed was dirty... And my friend's bed wass too... The cover you get is super thin! And I was cold Lots of foreigners there, we were constantly harassed by Indians, the streets smelled of weed...its not the hotel mistake. But I didn't like the atmosphere there!

The hostel looks really beautifully presented in Hostelworld , spacious rooms , Windows etc. In reality they put me in this tiny dark room , barely space for backpacks on the ground. Mattress hard and uncomfortable. I felt really bad being there. As well i payed cash for 2 nights , i checked out the first night , cause i didn't like it at all there , they denied that i payed for 2 nights. I didn't get my money back. I can't recommend this hostel. Positive things : +Late check in +Common area is nice + Location is good.

Checked in around midnight, paid for my room and paid a very high deposit but never got to sleep. The plastic pod in the dorm was broken and there was noone to inform. No staff on duty at night. There was no drinking water available, the water cooler was empty. In the morning when I went to check out, the owner stood in front of me and told me in a loud rude voice where the other customers could hear "you are not a customer here and you need to leave". The lady working reception apologied for his unacceptable behaviour. The complete lack of respect for a tired paying customer was shocking beyond belief. I hope someone speaks to the owner (he said he was Canadian) and gives him some information about respect.

Big shout out to Eddie and the staff for taking me in. Awesome chill vibes in the common area....everything was clean...a/c was at the perfect temperature. Beer was cold and the pot was plentiful....there's also another common area for those who don't smoke weed or just need a break from the haze! Would love to come back here!

Stay was ok. Shared bathroom which was not that clean. Also there is washing machine for 30 BHT per hour token based. In ground floor there pool game and also seating for food as well as for meet-ups. No lift so if more luggage only stairs and the suits are in 5th floor, female dorm in 2nd floor and tube dorm on 5th floor. Hardly to get host and felt not that much friendly.

A very nice place to chill out with the smoke shop next to the hostel (best weed, cheap prices). If there's an issue the staff are always able to quickly sort and it's next to loads of food places. So good I came back the second time I came to Bangkok!

Not recommended for family. They have no life in the building. You have to go to the 4th floor with your luggage on your own, which is not recommended for senior citizens. They don't even clearly mention that in their description. When I asked them about this, the receptionist replied that they will correct it.

absolutely amazing. the location was amazing, next to the busiest streets in bangkok!! however, regardless of this, the location remained quiet enough that it was beneficial to also sleep peacefully in. the staff were incredibly friendly, really represents the thai culture. you will not be disappointed!!!!!

I'd just like to share my overall experience in Bangkok. The first hostel I booked was a complete nightmare, an absolute zero star, if I ever did see one... nonetheless, I then booked myself into Oh Bangkok! And well, I can honestly say it was fantastic. The staff were incredulously helpful, going to every extent to ensure ultimate satisfaction, and truly, I felt at peace. The private rooms have a beautifully clean bed and bathroom with a wonderful A.C, as for the venue, it was clean, well maintained, and private, there were even lockers available for the backpackers, as I was there on a visa-run, I chose a private room as I was staying a few days, OH Bangkok again exceeded my expectations by providing a safe and stable internet connection in a Cafe downstairs, all free of charge, might I add... this was magnificent as I needed to do some work as well as sight see, but overall... I would like to thank the owner for his amazing hospitality and fantastic customer service. Thank you, OH Bangkok.

Staff is amazing! Good internet and excellent space to work as well with a nice café, not to mention the perfect location - close to restaurants, 7/11’s, the river and even Khao San road. Cheers, guys!

so. that place is top tier hostel, with sweet staff, adorable young people staying in the hostel, with its own special atmoshere, situated right in the center of the city, and you even havent to pay much for this incredible option. cmon, there is no alternative to that place in Bangkok. i m obsessed with that hostel.

Very nice hostel with Profesional staffs and good behavior. Rooms are clean and maintained. Wifi works good in the entire property. Bathrooms are clean and tidy. Only problem is the number of bathrooms are not sufficient for the total number of rooms. You need to wait sometimes. Rest everything is perfect. Although they have another property with attached toilet in other building.

Girl on reception obviously doesn't like her job. Unfriendly and disinterested. She said she had no small change to give me back when I paid and was reluctant to return it the next day. Slapped it angrily on the counter. I guess it's a way to boost your earnings. Communal area is good. Upper dormitory was spacious. Beds comfortable. Male bathroom was clean enough except for the shower curtain mould. However only 2 urinals and just a single sit down toilet really isn't enough if there are a lot of guests. WiFi often didn't work at the upper floor. Would have rated it a 4 but the staff member made me drop it by 1

Everything is great here. Stayed almost 10 nights recently, Anita is awesome. Not sure what everyone else is complaining about. Good value for money. I'm even back for a few more nights now after visiting other parts of Thailand.

The chinese owner guy is a scammer and they rob your things when you go out my friends lost their expensive things from bag and there are a lot of bedbugs please do not stay in this place your skin and bags will be full of insects and they keep your passport as deposit to charge you extra money be careful with the chinese guy

Looks nothing like the photos. Mattress was like a slab of cement and the room was like a dark sauna during the day. Staff were very unhelpful and got annoyed when I asked for help. There were ants all over the shower and went on my clothes.

I have been waiting at the reception for last 40 minutes. No one to attend me or check me in. The number provided in the booking doesn't seem to be working. Worst first impression ever and the stay hasn't even started.

It was an amazing hostel for a cheap price. It was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. They also have a small kitchen and laundry options available. The only con is they turn off the AC during the day which is very difficult to deal with as it's a very hot place. So it's not a good place to stay for wfh or long stay. But amazing for short stay. It's very near to Khaosan Road (there is a short cut to reach there, ask the receptionist to guide you). And there are nice eateries, massage shops and 7/11 nearby. Recommended stay.

Great staff, and good facility. It is a very good place to meet people, as there are 4 or 5 hostel on the same block and everyone hangs out in the street. On the other hand the neighborhood is geared for tourist, so if you are looking to get a feel for a more authentic representation of life in Bangkok, then you will have to venture a bit.

One of the best hostels around with incredibly friendly and helping Staff. The rooms were clean and cozy with comfortable beds. They have a lovely outdoor area where you can sit and chill. Very close to Khao San Road. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. Thanks a lot Shiva, Theo/Mario and Ayla.

Great hostel, price is cheap it's clean an the breakfast is nice too. You have laundry service and a mini bus to the airport if needed. The beads are comfortable, and you have lockers you can use, but you need to bring your own lock. The Wifi works only in the lobby

Good place to stop and rest. Everything is close by. The air conditioning works in the rooms. It is necessary to take a blanket in the lobby. In the lobby guys socialize and it is easy to make friends there. As for the service. The host is very kind and helpful. The local staff are not good in English but will do their best to help you. But there is one Russian employee there who spoils all the good things. She is aggressive and angry at all times. Always treats with high and arrogant.

The hostel is very worth for the price. It cost just 99฿/night (room types: bunk bed only female) when I booked!!! I have stayed many grades of hotel, this 2-star does better than their grade in my opinion. The room is clean, cold A/C, good shared toilet , and some of facilities is already old but the hotel can keep overall environment clean and not smelly. The only problem maybe about the reception is not ready for 24 hours in this pandemic period. But it's acceptable for me since the staff is nice and helpful when they give the service.

The Price is cheap and the hostel is quite clean, but it is noisy, the wifi doesnot work in the bedroom, the lockers are too small to put your backpack and the staff is not helpful.

Oh bangkok was a great place to stay in a good location with good staff. Not as close to khao san Road as I would have liked. Good weed with good facilties to smoke. Would definitely stay again!

The place is clean. Though it would be much better if they remove the bed from the female only room that has a pipe from the restroom at the ceiling (since one could hear/wake up from the pipe's sound every time somebody uses the toilet/restroom). Lockers are provided but you have to have your own padlock. Laundry service is THB 50 per kilogram and you can get it by noon if you deposit it at around 7PM the day prior. Also, it would be better if a timetable/schedule for breakfast is posted on a conspicuous place for the guests to know.

Oh Bangkok hostel is one of the best places to stay for budget travelers. The common areas are best in class, they have a card system to open your dorm so you and your belongings are super safe, their staff is really helpful, your bed has a beautiful light & big storage space underneath, they have affordable washing & drying facilities for your clothes. The location is walkable distance from the khao San walking street so it’s best if you like some night life & street food.

I've stayed for about one week in one of the private rooms,and it was simply amazing. Super clean bathrooms , friendly staff, uptown ( yet not loud at all ) . You'll have Netflix access ( at least i had in the private room) . Great price-perfomance ratio .

My experience was incredible. The host is very friendly, a bunch of local food near by. The best vest grass you could possibly get too. Upon walking in I was treated well and all amenities were provided. The TV is also got all streaming websites so if you don't feel like go out you can lounge around watch some tele and smoke a fatty. Big love for Eddie and the homies for making it pleasant I'd recommend this one all the time. Also remember your belongings are aways safe.

Hey coffee lovers! I recently swung by Oh Bangkok Dispensary and Coffeeshop, and I wanted to share a few words about my experience. While I didn't bunk in their hostel rooms, I can certainly vouch for their seriously good coffee. The folks at Oh Bangkok have got the friendliness game down pat. As soon as I walked through the door, they greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. It was like catching up with old pals rather than your typical coffee shop encounter. The atmosphere at Oh Bangkok is cozy and inviting, perfect for unwinding with your favorite cuppa. The decor strikes a balance between modern and traditional Thai elements, creating a relaxed ambiance that invites you to kick back and savor the moment.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at OK Bangkok hostel and can confidently recommend it to other travelers. Thank you for your hospitality! Staying at OK Bangkok hostel left a wonderful impression on me. I rate my stay a 10 out of 10. The hostel staff was very attentive and friendly. They were always ready to help and answer any questions. The room I stayed in was cozy and clean. I appreciated the fresh and pleasant smell in the room. In addition, the location of the hostel was perfect for me. I could easily reach all the places I wanted to visit in Bangkok. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops near the hostel, which made my stay even more convenient. I would definitely recommend OK Bangkok hostel to anyone who wants to have a great time in this city. It was an unforgettable experience, and I hope to come back here again in the future.

The hotel itself was very clean however we paid for a ‘deluxe room’ and got two separate rooms. We had to leave an extra deposit for the room we weren’t even meant to have and didn’t even get the deposit back. We were there from 6-8 am waiting and tried calling but no one came even tho it’s ‘24 hours service’

Super nice experience in Bangkok! I’ve tried some other hostels but this one is really cool! Big common area, the staff is nice (especially Theo the French guy who saved my night with the ac remote) and the beds are comfy! For the weed smokers this is the place to be, I would definitely recommend :)

Wonderful hostel, stayed my first 28 days in Bangkok here in the space capsule beds and then dorm. Great smoking and great people. I’m here whenever I’m in Bangkok.

Miserable staff, cockroaches in the room which took 2 hours to have spray delivered. Rooms are tired and reception is almost never open, it just has a sign saying call this number, not good if you don't have a thai sim card

So this place is a weird one.. we had a private room and we had to climb 5 floors to get to it. This wouldnt be so bad but along with that everytime we needed the toilet we had to go back down 2 floors which was very frustrating. Also the fact you are not allowed to smoke on the balconys on each floor you have to go all the way downstairs (5 floors) to smoke. The rooms are really good and have netflix and smart tvs which i cant fault the only bad thing is there was no bins anywhere in the rooms or on the diffrent floors and they dont come and clean your room. The plus side is they sell weed downstaires although it is heavily over priced its nice smoke but nothing better than what we have here at home and its twice the price. I would reccomend going to another street or shop to buy your buds... it didnt seem the most social hostel compared to zee thi which is around the corner but its okay. If your going to get a private room here i wouldnt bother save the money and go to a diffrent hostel or a hotel because for the price its alot of effort and you could get something better for the £. I gueese its more set up for dorms but makes no sense when they charge the privets so high compared to the dorms. its a nice place though just needs re organizing

Great place and great atmosphere. Very relax and good spot to smoke. If you're a none smoker you might not like it though.
