The location is near to MRT station and easy to reach. When we arrived at hotel, we startled with the system of hotel because we had to do it individually, like when we were hungry, we prepared our breakfast by ourselves, then we were given the key grip too. Everything is as in our home. When we want to go to somewhere, we can use MRT. Beside that we can use TukTuk as transportation to go to shopping center around the hostel to buy souvenirs and culinary. The price is very cheap because it is dormitory's style. It is very suitable for backpackers.

Im a solo traveller and this is my first time booking dorm but to my surprise, i really like it. Near to BTS station, helpful staff! Really love it! Will definitely return!

Definitely come back once again. Staffs are nice. Great service mind :) I stayed for 2 nights and on the second night there was a technical problem, it was almost midnight and I was already really exhaused after a long day so I wasn’t in the stage of dealing with any other issues. But the staff I spoke to was so calm and I always value service over everything else. Keep it up ! :) Be more careful next time but despite that I had a great stay after all.

The hotel consist of two different building separated about 40 meters. Booked 2 rooms for our family but unfortunately our rooms were in different building. The room quite small and low ceiling too (except for the bunk bed room). No TV and fridge in the room. Fridge, microwave, and utensils available in the shared kitchen. Laundry cost 150 THB/3kg. Got a little issue during checked in. The staff want to charge us for our 9 years old child for sharing the room with us, but after he call the manager, they kindly provide us extra bed without any additional charge. Really appreciate the kindness and understanding. Parking available since the hotel located in a shophouses complex. Overall I think the selling point of this hotel is its strategic location in the city centre. BTS and bus stop are very close, and there are two 7 eleven nearby. If you want to have cheap breakfast, go across AEC Trade Centre, at the alley next to Leela Hotel you can find breakfast start from 30 thb/pack.

Monomer is the best! I moved here after one night in another hostel across the street because I didn't like the vibe. The staff is much more friendly here, the facilities are better and it smells better in the dorms in general. And the breakfast butter is actually real butter. :o Thanks Monomer!

Really great hostel with decent and well put together private rooms. They are basic but suit the purpose well. Provided shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand soap in the room as well as 2 bottles of water per day and daily cleaning. The location is not more than a minute walk from the BTS station and is in a convenient area with street food and a 7-eleven not more than 5 minutes from their door. Great café right opposite as well operated by the hostel.

I've been here a few times and I must say, this is a great hostel to sleep in. The beds are confortable, the dorms are clean and the showers are being renovated at the moment. The morning breakfast is simple. Nothing fancy but for the price in Bangkok, it's hard to find better. Close to a BTS station.

Place is cozy. We stayed in a 6-bunker-bedded room but it was comfortable nonetheless. The place is clean. It is a patron-maintained place, so dishes are to be done by the patrons. Fosters discipline. The staffs are very efficient and helpful. Toilets are kept clean. Breakfast provided is for small eaters though. But there's a 7-11 (convenient store) nearby. And, a BTS station just right outside the main road.

I stayed in this hostel only for a night and checked in way too late but the owner gladly helped me to self check in. Booked a bed in 12 beds female dormitory and it was great, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, aircon was cool for crazy hot Bangkok. It's really near from exit 3 Ratchathewi bts station, bus stop and seven eleven, so no worry for public transportation and foods.

The hostel was very nice, the evening staff were very friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable but unfortunately someone in my shared room had disgusting body odour and there was a cat screaming all night so I didn't get much sleep, the cat and the smelly man were not the fault of the hostel though.

Great location, average cleanliness. Very near to BTS station and 711. Room is basic and acceptable cleanliness. Our room is only cleaned the 1st day, subsequent 2 days are not. Not sure why. The front counter is always empty at Building 2.

Good and affordable hostel next to Ratchathewi BTS, quiet clean and friendly staff. You get your own bedding a locker with lock. Lots of local food available around the area.

Accidentally canceled and can not refund on agoda but luckily the hostel mgs me at LINE and helped to stay there. Normally other hostel only give me free 2 towels for welcome but here i can get new towels and 2 bottles of water everyday, also free laundry. Room is clean and fresh. Hostel area just next to Ratchathewi BTS about 2 minutes walking 👍thanks staff

Great location, near BTS, receptionist, maid Take care of customers with a smile and good friendship. Here with a comfortable bed. Toilets and other places within the building are clean. And cleaner than other places in this drug The service admin is very helpful (there will be some people who speak badly whether via chat. Or talk on the phone is good. as if not willing to service) Next to the side of Phetchaburi Road Walk a little further to Phetchaburi Soi 10. There are many things to choose from day and night. And that's convenient, there is a convenience store open 24 hours. located nearby

Is very convincing hostel and met some nice roommates and staffs there. Street foods and massage shops just around the corner. Share bathroom and dorms were nice with reasonable price. Recommended in this spot.

The hostel itself is not bad, but a little hard for me as an English speaker because only the reception person spoke English and he was often not at the front desk. So whenever I had an issue or needed assistance, I had to wait until he got back or the service lady would redirect me to someone else. But they wouldn’t fully understand what I needed help with either. The way that they charge laundry is also not very worth it unless you have a large load to wash, I did not like that system. They charged me extra to check in a few hours early (4 hours before check in time) even though they had empty beds that were set up already. The facility itself was decent, the atmosphere and service was lacking. I wouldn’t go back again.

I had a lovely 4 night stay in a private room with shared bathroom. Very quiet at night, unless someone upstairs stomped their feet heavily lol. Perfect location and the hostel staff were kind and polite. Will definitely go back there!!

Clean place, quiet enough aside from one guy not hearing the alarm going off right next to his head for 15 minutes. But that's what you get sometimes with a shared room. Otherwise, the staff was helpful and the accommodations were good and I enjoyed my stay.

Been staying at Monomer for my time in Bangkok for the past three years. Beds, showers, service, and relaxed vibe are all unparalleled for the price in Bangkok. Will be coming back for years to come!

We booked with monomer hostel, and it was decent. Pros: The room was clean, bathrooms were pretty clean, and staff was nice. We made delicious waffles using the batter and bananas provided! 5-10 min walk to BTS train stations, so it's pretty easy to get to. Cons: When we booked a single private room the pictures made it seem more spacious and comfortable than it was. We ended up getting a pretty small room, where the bed was on a platform above the sofa (use a ladder to get to the bed). There was nothing to do in the room. < This review is based on our assumptions of the room based on the very nice pictures provided. Monomer did not intentionally mislead us. You may get a room in any one of their buildings, not necessarily the one on the map when you search for Monomer. This didn't cause any issues, just be aware. There were some VERY noisy guests staying in our building at the same time. Due to the nature of the building construction you can't get away from the noise. No fault of Monomer (they did try to find us another room)
