Best Hostel near BTS Ratchathewi! Tourist friendly because the front office auntie can speak English! FO Auntie very nice, friendly. You can ask about anything around the hostel & the answer would be very informative! FO Auntie remember me and always ask me where I’m going every day. I stayed here alone for 5 days, in 3rd floor, for female only, 1 room for 6 bunk beds. The room always cold, there’s a locker in every room but there’s no padlock, the bed space is it’s kinda big tho (for me) and also no towel. Their bathroom always clean and dry, the water heater works well (3 shower & 3 toilet). Great view & building. Very close to 7-Eleven (HEAVEN). I don’t use their shared kitchen but I think everything works well in this hostel. Definitely a good place to stay!

Super clean hostel. AC works well. Sheets smell clean and they have a fluffy light duvet which is nice. Pretty quiet for the most part. The beds do make some noise sometimes. It’s pretty cozy in here. They also have a nice common area with bean bag seats and a TV. They also serve a small breakfast every morning. Lots of people are here so definitely the place to meet new people travelling. I also like how it’s chill and not a party hostel. Everyone seems friendly and chill. The place to be!

My stay in Siam Eco Hostel is one of the best hostels that I choosed for my trip. Yes, the room was nice, bathroom was so clean and dry. I took the dormitory room with city view that driectly shown BTS train view. The hostel location itself was strategic, I could find 7-Elevens, laundromats, and even more only 5 minutes walk to Pratunam night market. I got free breakfast meals and free drinking water. There's communal area that we can use to chill or simply as working station. The staff was so nice, thank you for Mrs. Lee that assist me a lot during my stay. She was so kind and gave me many recomendations and help to go around Bangkok.

Best place to stay as a solo traveller. The Aircon reaches just the first half of the rooms. The further half is hot and there is not much air. Every other aspect is 10/10

We stayed here for a few nights and book the whole entire room for our group. I understand this review might be biased because I am not sharing the room with stranger, but if I need to extrapolate experience to sharing the room with strangers, my guess the rating will not change much. The staffs are very friendly and helpful to all the needs and our questions, despite the reception staff not available 24hours tho, but the standby staff still very helpful as well. The breakfast provided is pretty much light but it is enough for me to get thru the morning til lunch time (attached picture is kind of breakfasf they provided). Hopefully we will see you again Judy & Lee (hope I spell your names correctly) when we visit the city again.

Brilliant stay if you’re looking for a hostel around Bangkok. Impeccably clean, and good service. If it rains they also have an umbrella you could borrow. It has a great common area, dining area, complimentary fruits for breakfast, and a clean and fully equipped kitchen (with fridge, utensils, etc) which you could use to help yourself. The only only downside is that it does not have an elevator which is an issue only if you’re carrying suitcases, but they allow you to keep the suitcase in the common area at the ground floor. 5/5

This is the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is amazingly friendly and easy to talk to. The dorms and toilets are nice and clean. There is a big kitchen and common area with televisions, multiple seating areas, iron, and utensils for your own food. A refrigerator to store your food as well. The location is perfect. It’s right at the BTS Ratchathewi. You can hear street noise inside of the hostel but it’s very low and nothing that will disturb your sleep at night. The beds are super comfy and have one outlet, light, one normal pillow and one small pillow. I had to check out 3 nights early due to an unexpected death in my family. The staff was very understanding and I will definitely return to this hostel in the future. I expect it to now be my go to lodging for Bangkok.

Good for one night. Or a slight rest. Otherwise the owner is a bit aggressive and selfish at times. The place is full of cameras. Privacy is low.

small hostel. a room smelly with feet. unclean toilet. weak water pressure shower. loud and talkative owner. a lot of CCTV. There are many good hostels in Bangkok. I don't know why Agoda's rating is good.

Siam Eco Hostel is a fantastic option for travelers looking for affordable and environmentally-conscious accommodation in the heart of Bangkok. The hostel is located near Ratchathewi BTS Station, just a short walk from some of the city's best shopping, dining, and nightlife. The staff at Siam Eco Hostel are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help guests with any questions or concerns they may have (Specifically Judy & her Sister). The hostel is clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and plenty of common areas to relax and socialize in. In terms of amenities, Siam Eco Hostel has everything a traveler could need. There's a fully-equipped kitchen for guests who want to cook their own meals. The hostel also offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building, as well as luggage storage for those who need it. Overall, I highly recommend Siam Eco Hostel for anyone looking for a budget-friendly and eco-friendly place to stay in Bangkok. With its great location, welcoming staff, and commitment to sustainability, it's truly one of the best hostels in the city.

When I first checked in, I was told there was no room for the bed on the lower floor because it was a busy week. But when I went to the room, there were two empty beds on the lower floor. So I went back to the front desk and asked politely.(Because I thought there might be a chance that she accidentally didn’t know about it.). I just wanted to hear an answer, but I was taken aback by the way she spoke in an annoyed tone. If no one checks in that day, so if there is someone staying for a long stay from the next day, it's their policy to leave a bed free for that person, then I fully understand. But her attitude really upset me. I was so annoyed that she talked about it as if she were admonishing a child. And top of that, the accommodation wasn't that clean, but I was surprised that the rating was high. I had a bad experience when I first checked in, and after 3 nights, even the little things started to annoy me. The water pressure was weak and there were no towels provided. (You have to pay to borrow them.) There were many people staying for a long time, but I hated seeing their things piled up in common areas such as bathrooms and showers.

This is a very relaxed but otherwise excellent Hostel with phenomenal staff and management (I talked to several). The beds have two different sized pillows, nice duvets, crisp sheets, full privacy curtains and of course power points and reading lights. There are lockers (small), AC (really cold), and the unisex bathrooms are spotless with a big vanity space (rare in Asian hostels), private showers with handheld and lots of hot water, etc. There’s a kitchen and TV lounge with large communal table on the second floor. Only drawback for some might be the lack of an elevator.

Extremely well maintained hostel. Very close to MBK and walking distance from green line MRT. However the best part is the lady at the reception, extremely welcoming and very very helpful! Would highly recommend!

The place is in a prime location, close to BTS station, also the Siam Square is 8/10 minutes walking distance. But the best thing is it's ambiance and coziness. The concierges are very friendly and welcoming. The hostel is also highly maintained and kept neat & clean. Also you can wash your clothes and dry them on the rooftop. Almost everything is digital. Just one drawback is no lift, and it will be a pain if you are staying on the top floors. Overall a great place to be 👌.

For me one of the best. This place let us check in very late in the night. It s super spacious, has a big common area, a lot of toilets and showers. The place is also very clean. You can also do your Washing machine or borrow a towel, around 20/30 bath each. Deposit 200 bath. Super good connected with sky train and other bus. Very near to mbk Mall. I highly recommend.

A to Z was a perfect, newly started hostel, interior, exterior, facilities, location, hangout area(Wow), rooms,Beds,Kitchen, comfort, Location quietness, can not be better than that, i have stayed in private room at 4-star hotels in Bangkok, it wasn't even close to this hostel. i'm not trying to over-exaggerate, things, it is extremely value for money, however, breakfast is very simple, still perfect and value for money

Had a great few nights at siam eco hostel, stayed in the 6 person dormitory, beds were very clean. Staff worked constantly keeping the showers and toilet clean. The common area is nice and quiet. They offer a light breakfast which is always appreciated. Ms.Lee the owner was very welcoming and kind and ready to help you with any enquiry. The location is perfect few steps to the BTS station which connects you to any where in bangkok.

This is by far my highest rated hostel in Bangkok! The BTS Ratchthewi is steps away from the Hostel entrance. There's a 7 Eleven which is 30m away from the Hostel. Massage and hair dresser next door. And street food in front of the hostel at night!! The ladys who operate the hostel are such AMAZING hosts. So kind, friendly, and very service oriented. You will not regret staying at this hostel!!!

Great location! Rooms are simple and everything was clean and tidy. I especially like the blankets!! The owner/staff are all friendly and make the place feel like home while you're away from your home. Would definitely recommend!

The rooms were great and the staff were excellent! I left something valuable behind when I had already left for the airport but they arranged for it to be sent for me which was so lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Bed size is super okay, like not cramped and can make you sleep comfortably. I stayed 9 nights for Songkran 2023 on the bottom bed and I can say that I really like it! They have medium sized locker in the room and also the AC is super cool LOL. What makes me want to go back to this hostel is their hospitality. The receptionist (too bad I forgot to ask her name - but she middle aged and use eyeglasses) was super kind and helpful. I was sick and lost my voice, she gave me medicine and make sure that I will recover soon and continue enjoy Bangkok. Thank you so so much! P.S. They got washing machine (30 Baht per usage) and dryer (30 Baht per usage too) on the rooftop. You can wait your laundry while watching BTS crossing since the hostel location is super near to Ratchathewi BTS Station.

This was a very nice hostel! The front desk staff were super helpful. They gave wonderful food and activity recommendations, as well as directions to get there. The location is not in the best place for exploring the main attractions in city, but it is right next to BTS station Ratchathewi which is one stop from a bunch of malls. Using the BTS and metro you can get almost anywhere you need. There’s also a 7/11 practically next door. The room was clean and the bathrooms had plenty of toilet and shower stalls that were frequently cleaned. The common area was also nice. It seemed like most of the guests had some type of work or school on their laptops during the day and there were also some older guests. So not the most sociable for backpackers. Breakfast is included and consisted of cornflakes w/ milk and some bananas.

good room, clean washroom, helpful service, strategic location as well. they provide simple bfast. it has soap, shampoo, and hairdryer to use, but we have to pay additional charge for towel. the room temperature is actually too cold. I wish they provide hanger to hang our towel inside the room as well.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Siam Eco Hostel during my trip to Bangkok, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From its eco-friendly initiatives to its exceptional service, this hostel offers a truly unique and memorable experience. First and foremost, the commitment to sustainability is evident in every aspect of Siam Eco Hostel. The building itself is designed with eco-friendly materials, utilizing renewable energy sources and efficient water systems. It's refreshing to see a hostel that takes its environmental impact seriously, and it made me feel good about my choice to stay there. The staff at Siam Eco Hostel are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether it was providing local recommendations, organizing group activities, or simply engaging in friendly conversation, the staff members were always attentive and helpful. The hostel's communal areas are vibrant and well-maintained, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The shared kitchen is fully equipped, allowing guests to prepare their meals while reducing waste associated with single-use plastics. The common spaces are thoughtfully designed, providing ample opportunities to socialize with fellow travelers and make new friends. One of the highlights of my stay was the emphasis on community engagement. Siam Eco Hostel regularly hosts events and workshops that promote sustainable practices and cultural exchange. From Thai cooking classes to eco-conscious tours, these activities not only enhance the guest experience but also foster a sense of community and promote a deeper understanding of the local culture. The dormitory rooms at Siam Eco Hostel are comfortable, clean, and well-designed. The beds are cozy, and each guest is provided with personal lockers to secure their belongings. The attention to detail in the room's layout and amenities truly enhances the overall comfort level. Another standout feature is the hostel's location. Situated in a vibrant neighborhood, Siam Eco Hostel offers easy access to public transportation, local markets, and popular attractions. Exploring Bangkok was a breeze, thanks to the hostel's central location and the helpful guidance provided by the staff. In conclusion, Siam Eco Hostel is a shining example of sustainable accommodation done right. Its commitment to the environment, excellent service, engaging community activities, and prime location make it a top choice for travelers seeking a memorable and eco-conscious stay in Bangkok. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a positive and rewarding experience.

Stopped here for a night after evening flight. 600 meter walk from APR/BTS Phaya Thai station. And only a min walk from Ratchatewi station. Stayed 8 bed dorm room on 4th floor. Bed super comfy, cold AC with thick blanket. Curtain give me privacy. No shoes allowed in the room so floor is pretty clean and no bad smell ! A lady in reception is helpful and friendly :) Towel & lock available to rent for 20 thb each.

Pros - Shampoo and body soap available - Super close to BTS - Clean rooms and bathrooms Cons - This has all over BKK but hey why the room temparature is like 17 degrees?? Especially when the hostel call it ECO ... isn't it unnatural ?? - Wow, what an aggressive woman at the reception, as another person also mentioned. She had this huge voice as if yelling at me. I don't mind staying here for a short term but if I'd spend weeks, I'd probably change the place. - 3 % extra charge when paying by creditcard, which is widespread and still cheaper than commissions when withdrawing cash - Someone else has taken my bed and put his food on the bed. The bed here is designated as your check-in so be sure to use yours. Putting food doesen't mean you reserved the bed. Moreover, food itself isn't allowed in dorm anyway.

Super clean hostel—all shoes must be kept in lockers/shelves on the first floor, so the other floors are all clean. The bathroom seemed to be cleaned regularly throughout the day, which was very nice. The common area with TV, bean bags/chairs, outlets, AC & fans is great. Convenient location too. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. You will have to do lots of walking up and down stairs. The breakfast provided was very simple: just cornflakes & boxed milk, some small starchy bananas, and packaged cakes and crackers, plus hot water and instant drinks. If anything, I’d suggest adding to the breakfast options. Other than that, this was a great hostel to stay at.

I walked in and made a booking in the evening. The reception was friendly and approachable. I stayed for just 1 night, the location is very convenient just 2mins walk from ratchadamri BTS. I paid $9/night for a simple bed. Everything was cozy, quiet, peaceful and most importantly extremely clean especially the bunks and the toilet. The bed is also nice and comfortable. There’s some simple breakfast in the morning. I love this neighbourhood as there’s nice and affordable food from dusk till dawn. Well done!

Pros -Clean and safe rooms with comfy beds (comforters, plug points, a/c, curtains) -Friendly receptionists (they let us stay in the common room for 5 hrs after we checked out as our flight was delayed) -Clean bathrooms with hot water, soap, and shampoo available for free -Right next to the MRT station, and at a walkable distance from malls -Big common room to hang out in -Good cafés, restaurants, pubs, ans 7/11s nearby Cons -Terrible breakfast (just cold milk, cereal, and cake). They could easily add some bread, jam, and a toaster -Found the kitchen staff to be a bit racist (the lady refilling the breakfast tray) -20 baht for towels (it was free in all the other hostels we stayed in)

Gave them all 5 stars since this hostel is the best one in this area. Staffs so nice and kind. They gave me all clear information before check-in and also recommended me the places to go around. Location also very easy to go anywhere in Bangkok. Had a wonderful stay here and will definitely back here again.

The staff are very friendly and willing to help. Room is clean and very comfortable. Overall this place is worth every Baht I paid.

During our stay here at Siam Eco Hostel, we admired the: - management with Ms. Lee who is the owner; she was accommodating to us, answered every inquiries we had from online via Agoda until we checked-in. They have also other services that would accommodate travelers for their luggages. - staffs; I have to give them kudos on how they cleaned the facilities thoroughly. -location; I really love that the location of the hostel is near at a train station which gave us peace of mind when commuting from airport to hostel vice versa and seeing Bangkok within reach via trains. - facilities; we enjoyed the room that we used during our stay, beds are comfortable, restroom was okay also enough for its price, the laundry section is somewhat okay. Overall, we recommend Siam Eco Hostel for its price, location, management and facilities. Cannot wait to go back to Bangkok and staying to Siam Eco Hostel again. Rating of 4.75/5.
