This is a nice hostel! The staff were super welcoming and kind. The common area is quite open and a pleasant place to sit and work. The location was convenient as well, and I felt quite comfortable and safe as a solo female traveler. I worked the entire time I stayed there and the free wifi was a great bonus. Additionally, the wifi was extremely stable and reliable. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I'm super grateful for the wonderful experience and I plan to stay there again on my next visit.

Clean place, cute cafe, free wifi, polite and helpful staff. Hostel has 24 hour check in, which was a life saver for me when my flight was delayed and I ended up arriving at 04:00. Highly recommend for staying over or just to stop in for a bite or an iced coffee.

The decoration was very trendy and I really liked that! It was located in a street food market so many people enjoyed that. However, it was a bit out of the way and you still needed a taxi to go anywhere (not much to do in the near area). And with the traffic, going anywhere would take at least 30 mins. The toilets and showers were very clean and comfortable. The wifi worked well. The A/C was great. My only biggest issue was the beds, as they were horribly hard. It was like sleeping on hard rock. The breakfast was not good at all, and we had the “premium”. there were no vegetarian options. The premium breakfast was prepared at 7-8 am and left out until whenever you had breakfast. The water refills tasted like tap water. The staff was nice but didn’t speak much English. Overall I recommend as a basic hostel :)

Beautiful, clean, quiet and modern boutique hostel with dorm and private rooms. 6-person mixed dorm is spacious with bunk beds that have been constructed to the dimensions of the room. Plenty of secure locker storage space under the bed. Each bed has a blackout curtain for privacy. Also, there is a reading light and two electrical outlets for each bunk. A/C in room can be controlled via remote. Rooms cleaned daily and refreshed with a bottle of drinking water. Breakfast is quite basic (hot dogs, ramen noodles, instant coffee & tea, corn flakes and yogurt) but there is plenty of local street food options and fresh fruit out the front door. Do not hesitate to ask staff for help ordering street food. Located next to BTS SkyTrain stations and 5 minutes walk to Victory Monument where you can catch a bus down to Khaosan Road or anywhere else in the city where the metro does not reach (there are English speaking bus traffic controllers who can help you find the right bus, just know where you want to go). The front patio is a great place to have a drink or eat your meal and watch typical Thai life. The street really comes to life at night but starts closing down around 10pm. There is also a back patio that is a bit more quiet and shaded during the day which is great. Laundry facilities available on site. Two washers and a dryer. Very inexpensive. Soap is available at the front desk for 10 THB. Main lobby/kitchen/chill out area has music playing during the day, huge flatscreen TV and cable is available as well. Fast high-speed wifi available on each and every floor. I started my trip here in BKK booking two nights and have already extended an extra four more nights. Will most likely be extending another 3 nights as this place is super chill. 👍 💯 👌

I would give the hostel 5 stars except the water heater wasn’t working for the one night we stayed, however, the staff were so helpful and professional that I am sure it has been fixed. The room was clean and quiet, in a nice neighborhood with lots of food options nearby. The lobby is really nice, I wish we had more time to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. I like the location of the hostel, it’s an easy 5 minute walk to Victory Monument where you can take the sky train or bus or van in almost any direction. It’s also easy to hail a taxi from the main road. I would recommend this hostel if you want a shared or private room, just keep in mind that they do not have an elevator so inform the reception in advance if you have trouble climbing stairs.

Overall the hostel is great! 5mins walk from mtr Lots of food stalls outside the hostel There's a small mall near by And a 7-Eleven store. 2 mins walk from bus stops going to central. Wifi is fast No English Channel on television Bed is comfortable but its a bit hard. We arrived early, its a good thing they assist us in our luggage to leave it in the reception for the mean time while we go outside and come back at 2pm check in time.

The aircon in the room doesn’t work well. Also the hotel lobby was to warm. Otherwise the Hostel was beautiful und the staff very polite.

Great location, staff, facilities and hotel. I just hate the walls they are too dark for me personally. But, I still often visit this hotel because it's great value for money.

Hotel look nice. Room small. The shower room is bad. Drainage is stuck with hair water out very slow. Always wanted to fast shower and out of that place cause it will flood.

Staying at VM1 Hostel was more than accommodation – it was an immersive journey into Thai local culture. From the vibrant murals that painted the walls to the warm hospitality of the staff, the hostel embodied the essence of Thailand. The communal spaces were buzzing with a diverse mix of travelers sharing stories, and the cozy rooms provided a comfortable retreat. What sets VM1 apart is its strategic location, nestled in the heart of the city, making it a perfect launchpad for exploring local markets, street food stalls, and hidden gems. The hostel's unique design and atmosphere create a sense of community, fostering connections among guests. The staff's local insights and recommendations added an authentic touch to my travel experience.

This hostel is clean and comfy — nice co-working space and area to relax or eat, indoor and outdoor. The staff are friendly and this was a great place to stay, not too far from the BTS and lots of food options.

Pro - Renovated new facility on a nice side road with a local market and nearby local mall. Clean and well organized. 7 min walk from public transport. Welcoming atmosphere. We booked a private double room. Dorms also available. Con - Breakfast was very basic and didn't include fruit nor cooked items. Toast, coffee, jam, 20% fruit juices and Roman noodles.

Great spot if you're looking for a quiet and clean place. Staff is very helpful and respectful. Wasn't a really social location but I was there around Christmas so that may have been why.

There are a lot of places to stay in Bangkok- this one is pretty middle of the road. Prices are median for the area, the neighborhood is nice with easy access to train and 7-11. 24 hour reception is nice. The beds were extremely hard, and the sheets are a satin material which is extremely hot at night. Towels are available "for hire" for 50 baht... Kind of steep for just a towel. Bathroom are clean but not air conditioned so it's pretty hot in there. Not a place you want to get ready for a night out.

I stayed here 3 nights, I believe. The staff is absolutely wonderful!! Their hospitality cannot be beat! The bedding is fantastic and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean! It was great. I will return and stay here again :) In the meantime, I will miss them all!!

This is no wonder the best hostel I ever lived! Nice staff, good price, warm environment, very clean place and bed is so big and comfortable! It's just next to small night market and you can get good easily at night! Common area is so big and neat! It's a new hostel so no rating at other hostel app!

We had a private room on the 4th floor. The room was comfortable as well as the bed. Breakfast was good. The location is pretty great and full of locals. The one issue I can see others having is that there is no elevator and the stairs are steep. If you have anything more than a backpack, getting to the 4th floor will be difficult, but staff will certainly assist.
