Food price still high and tiny portion with taste that the same with orthers around town. The Thai Dessert shop at the end still doing very well with many customers. This mall managements must not allow to sell the same dessert. So, many customers have wait and wait at one place and they can jack up the price because NO competition ..❌... We scored blouses here for a cheap price but they were unique and beautiful. This mall is a bit run down but it has its rich culture to tell. If you wanna buy Thai silk dresses, genuine pearls and eat Thai food in Chinatown, this is a good shop to explore.

Basically, food court is also available as well as food market where you can buy a variety of delicious things, then find an empty bench to just sit and eat.

Having travelled through SE Asia for a few months and visited multiple fabric shops - this was a definite highlight! The jewellery shops weren’t really my style (quite flashy), but this mall is so worth a visit just for the fabric shops. The food court was such a fun and tasty experience as well.

Well air conditioned old mall with good food and loads of silk shops. However the silk designs feel quite outdated and for an older generation perhaps. Try out the food for sure. The silks are best left for when you want to tailor something traditional. Also the clothes can be dusty so stay away if you have any dust allergies.

Pahurat is not very famous amongst Tourists in Bangkok. However being so close to Yaowarat the society hangs out here, especially the elderly. I love the Gateaux cafe. Good coffee and cakes at reasonable prices.

This place has significant importance in perspective of tourism. If you walk on it's right side you could reach the Giant swing and the temple; and on the other side you could walk towards the Chao pharya sky park. Whereas Indian market is next to it and Chinatown market could be reached. There is one shop that has all the art acrylic paint canvas etc...

There are many types of food and desert all around level one, extremely similar to what I might eat back in Singapore such as, dao suan, bobur pulut hitam, nonya Kueh,.ondeh ondeh, steamed cake that we find in pasar malam.
