Food is generally well-seasoned with strong flavours. However, we do feel that for the price range, we felt slightly disappointed. Service crew deserved 5 stars as they were polite, friendly and food was also served rather quickly. The omelette balloon was a delightful surprise - fluffy and generous with the crab meat. Their Tom yum soup is super sour, in a good way as it whets your appetite for the rest of the dishes. It also has coconut meat in the soup, which was a pleasant surprise. The Thai fried rice is something we haven’t seen before with assorted raw vegetables for you to mix in. Interesting dish but not something we will try again. There are plenty of other good food in the area at better pricing.

A well known franchise offering family style Thai food. The place provided both dishes to share and single dishes that taste adequate compare to the price. The size of each dish is acceptable, while some dishes like fried fish are quite big compare to other. Would recommend for a comfy and easy Thai food that is accessible in various shopping malls. My favourite would be fried egg with vegetable and fried fish.

Big portion compare with other restaurants in shopping malls. Spicy Fried rice is a bit sweet for me. Next time "no sugar pls" for sure. Papaya salad with fresh crab is so fresh and yummy (this dish I asked for no sugar added😁) Moreover, VAT included which is good for customers, only service charge 10% excluded. Most of menu are Hot&Spicy. Be alert!

Very popular chain which dishes out wonderful authentic Thai food. We really liked ours selection today. It seems.the tom yam soup is very popular and we missed out on ordering it. Prices are not too expensive for the quality.

Food quality and taste is so good when compare to other branch (in fasion island). Most of them are greasy food and sweet.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The portions were also generous, making it easy to share dishes with others. However, I did find the prices to be a little bit higher than I expected. While I do believe that the quality of the food justifies the cost, it may be a little too pricey for some diners. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, with tasteful decor and a relaxing ambiance. The service was also friendly and attentive, making for an enjoyable dining experience overall. In summary, while the prices at this Thai restaurant may be a little high, the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere make it a great option for those looking for a more upscale dining experience.

Delicious Thai food here! Ordered the following below. Total bill added up to just under 1.5k Baht which I think is very affordable for the standard and quality of the dishes. - Pad Thai - Recommended! Good flavour and it’s sufficiently moist and not dry like some other places! - Garlic Pork belly - 100% recommended! The garlic is so rich and generous and it elevates your taste buds in every bite! Will definitely order again. - Tom Yum - 100% recommended as well. Very rich flavour, soup is thick, filled with generous amounts of fish, mushrooms and coconut. Can devour the whole pot by myself. - Morning Glory - Nicely prepared as well! Good addition to add greens to our meal. - Shrimp Omelette - Nice, fluffy and well-textured omelette paired with a separate chilli sauce at the side!

5 star for the food definitely. Must try order stir fried red chili paste crispy port & egg york, Deep fried turmeric pork. It's superb!! Is a must order. Not to miss their appetizer, papaya salad, just make me saliva drilling. Service part, I for us, it's acceptable, not to say rude, just don't really smile.

The food here was amazing. Be cautioned, the spicy soup menu will have your tongue dialling the fire department - but it was totally delicious (I like eating spicy as it gets). The deep fried shrimp came with a delicious sweet chilli sauce that complimented perfectly. The pork was perfectly cooked and was bursting with both flavour and texture. Can’t wait for my next visit - it’s on the 3rd floor of Central World. This place needs to have a visit if you are in Bangkok!

Don’t know why there’s a high rating for this restaurant. The food presentation was excellent, service was decent but taste wise is really below below par. If you observe, the customers here are all foreigners. Don’t know if they have not tested the really tasty thai food or what. I just think it’s not worth the price and to queue for this. I read the reviews so I decided to queue but really not delicious at all. Fish was alright but did not bring out the flavours I was expecting. Even an ordinary eatery would have tasted better. Morning glory and the fried noodles were the worst I’ve eaten. Did not taste like Thai food at all. Just sharing this out so that other people like me won’t fall for this. Total amount spent was 1,150 baht.

My favourite Thai chain restaurant which can be found in most of the big upscale malls. Their food is so tasty and goes well with the yummy rice. I would recommend: stir fried vegetables, pandan leaf wrapped chicken, green curry, any omelette/ egg dish (except the crab one which is overhyped and overpriced imo), a pork/seafood dish and perhaps a soup to end it all. From experience their drinks are not all that worth, but the FOOD! is the BOMB. We had only 2 people but we ordered the medium bowl of rice for 3-4pax because the food is just that good. A must try for travellers and visitors definitely.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Thai restaurant, and overall, I had a positive experience. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and everything we ordered was delicious. I especially enjoyed the spicier dishes, which had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. The service was decent, although nothing exceptional. The staff was polite and attentive, but didn't go above and beyond to make us feel truly welcomed. However, we didn't encounter any major issues, and our food arrived promptly and without any mistakes. The only downside of our meal was the price. While the food was definitely worth it, the bill ended up being a bit higher than we anticipated. This could be due to the fact that we ordered a lot of different dishes, but it's still worth noting for anyone looking to dine here. Overall, I would recommend this Thai restaurant for its delicious food and decent service. Just be prepared to spend a bit more than you might at other similar establishments.

So I’ve seen this place a lot online and usually there is a line to get in, so my curiosity won and I tried it today. The food was nice, nothing too special, but it’s okay. The pad Thai was flavorful but definitely not life changing. The vegetable we got was called morning glory and it was lightly flavored. Definitely not bad, if this was a lunch it would be great, but with the large selection of other places in central world, maybe there are better choices.

Had a good lunch with family. Ordered a fried sea bass with lemon grass sauce, stewed trotter, morning glory, fried crab rice and fried kway teow. Had young coconut drink and mango rice for dessert. Food is delicious. Staff arr friendly and welcoming. Ambience is warm. Ha, weather also. It was a wonderful lunch.

During our shopping trip at Central, we decided to have dinner in the mall itself. Most of the time, we avoid the Thai restaurants in malls. The Kub Kao Kub Pla had a large waiting crowd, and this made us curious. We got in the queue and got the waiting number. We have to wait for almost 30 minutes. Once seated, the service was fast. Started with a few chilled beers. Ordered a few of our favorites: fish, two vegetables dishes, red curry meat and spicy pork. We topped the fantastic dinner with delicious desserts: a carrot cake slice and tiramisu cake.. The restaurant has quite a number of tables and a decent dining area. Service was also good.

Saw some people recommended this franchise. We were watching a movie at central world so decided to give it a try. We had our first pad Thai and first pad see yew in Thailand. We were a bit disappointed tbh. We had similar quality/taste in Sydney. Staff speaks English. Normal shopping centre restaurant seatings. Ok speed of serving. I don’t think I’ll come back again though. There are so many nice Thai food out there. Go try something else I would say.

Great service from the staff! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, would love to applaud the trainee that served us this evening. He was very helpful and diligent throughout. Five stars for service. Food wise, the menu had quite a big selection of local food. We ordered the tom yum soup, green curry, fried fish, pandan chicken, flower omelette and morning glory stir fry. The food was delicious and served in relatively big portions. The chicken used in the green curry was thigh meat, very tender as compared to the usual choice of breast meat. The tom yum soup was also not bad, there were lots of prawns in the soup. Overall, it was a rather delicious meal. Price wise, definitely not cheap but its a good choice if you are in the area and can’t decide on a place to eat :)

Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour at this outlet, super long queue even at 2:30 pm on weekday. The food is good, not cheap though. The crab omelette and a sundry beef with sticky rice and crab yellow curry with purple rice noodles are a must try dishes.

Tasty food but the Crab Omelette at THB1.2K or about $45 is really not worth the value rest of the food items generally nice. Obscene queue at dinner which if you walk away and miss your Q number, they will dishonour it and issue you a new Q numver

The food quality was good and portions were reasonable. As it was a rather busy lunch time , the service was just satisfactory and I would not say attentive. The ambience was acceptable but nothing outstanding. Overall, we had an acceptable pleasant dining experience.

After a one and a half hour wait, this turned out to be an excellent choice for my final dinner in Bangkok. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and everything we ordered was outstanding. The prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. The only drawback was that one dish arrived significantly later, forcing us to cancel it after we had finished all the other food. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and the wait was worthwhile (you can take a number and explore the mall while waiting).

We ended up trying a thai resto and it was worth it. It’s pricey but value for money. I don’t eat salad that much, but we’re surprised how tasty the pomelo salad was. The tamarind dressing was soooo good with the pomelo, that we had to order u1 more 🤭 All dishes were good, but the stir fried pork with garlic and chili only had a few pork pieces in them under a lot of garlic chips. And for dessert, the thai tea granita and chocolate cake are a must try. The thai tea granita has jelly, almonds and kaong toppings. The shaved ice (granita) 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 not so sweet. Size is for sharing but can be devoured alone 😁 Highly reco to try this resto out after street food trip for a change of ambiance and for comparison. Just be early as it gets crowded at noon. We arrived around 1130am and got a table quickly.

For 2 person, we ordered a Tom Yum Soup, crab meat fried rice, stir fried prawns, chicken wings and stir fried morning glory. Food is generally good here, but I will that most of the items are either a bit too sweet or salty. The Tom Yum soup is a bit too sweet and the fried chicken wings is a bit too salty. Staff are friendly and the service is pretty fast. However, if you come during lunch crowd, you expect to queue for table.

First time here. The food was fantastic except the salted egg squid as it was overcooked and hard to chew. Love the crispy shrimps pomelo salad and almond fish cake. The desserts were not so good, can just give them a miss

Nice place for a shopping centre. Suitable for groups who want to enjoy the aircon and have authentic Thai food. But it is expensive as compared to the other food you can find on the streets of course. In total we spent around $1k baht!

First meal upon arrival. Went to the central world outlet, super long queue, waited for 30 mins before our turn. The food was surprisingly tasty. But the fried fish was not recommended as it was too dry. I love fried yam fries, it's an appetizer but a very big portion, roasted garlic pork also very delicious. Tomyum is also not too sour and spicy but enough for 1 bowl per person. Price is on a high side too..

This chain of restaurant is always a safe bet as they food quality is exceptionally good. I have been to many outlets before and they are always good. Service is quick and staff are always helpful. I would definitely go back to any of their outlets if I do not know what I feel like eating.

Great food! My 4th time at Kub Kao Kub Pla, but 1st time at this branch. Food at Kub Kao Kub Pla has never disappointed me so far. I guess it explains the long queue at 1.45pm on a weekday. After being seated, we had to wait quite a while to get our orders taken. But after that, food was served pretty fast. All the dishes were good, and the most impressive dishes for me that day was the tamarind pork, and the crab curry with purple rice noodles.

A good place to try out Thailand favourite dishes at a comfortable place. Ordered fried mini prawns with leaves, crispy and yet retaining the meatiness of the prawns. The chicken wings is deep fried too, but with the ease of having one of the bones removed. Crab in a omelette is a good alternative to the usual crab, no fuss eating as no shells involved. Drinks are normal and nothing to complain about. Overall awesome place

  • 4/5 Jennifer B. 1 year ago on Google
I had high hopes coming in here to try out their dishes. So I ordered - deep fried sea bass with crispy lemongrass and tamarind sauce; - shrimp omelette; - thai style spicy salad with salmon and lotus stem; - and their pad thai with prawns. For the fish, I gotta say the portion isn't that big and the fish stinks. I believe they are using gourami instead of sea bass? Not quite sure but it smells. Shrimp omelette was awesome, crispy on the outside and very soft & fluffy on the inside. You can get this kinda omelette in various street foods in Indonesia tho, just this one is cleaner and has shrimp in it. Their salmon salad was too sour for my liking, and they were skimping on the salmon. I feel like I could get more salmon. Pad thai with prawns are good, nothing bad to say, just that they mixed the peanuts in the pad thai already while also provide the peanuts on the side, they shouldn't have mixed it tho. But other than that, delicious. Staffs are quick and nice. Just overall this place is too overrated for me, and considering the price I wont be coming back. There are plenty of other restaurants with cheaper price yet tastier than this ones.

One of my favourite Thai restaurant with authentic Thai taste. Staff is attentive but might be bit busy during peak hours. Love most of the menus we ordered. Highly recommend homemade ice cream as well.

Good customer service but I feel like the food quality here is a bit off from other Kub Kao Kub Pla. Not sure why, but I feel the differences. The fired fish qS very salty and the yum salmon is a but unbalanced. But the customer service here is excellent :)

Cozy ambience to enjoy your local Thai food. Love their crab balloon omelette as it wasn’t too oily like the usual one, also the egg was fluffy. Another interesting dish to recommend is the Crispy Gourami Fish Salad. All I can say is don’t get fooled by its look (in a good way).

They serve southern style Thai food. Service was fast, restaurant layout was cozy. I enjoyed the food, above my expectations. The iBerry cafe is attached, offering ice cream & dessert.

  • 5/5 Nicole H. 4 years ago on Google
Please try the seabass. Fried to golden brown and the sweet and spicy sauce is great. Just be careful not bite on the bird’s eye chilli. It might look small and harmless but it’s nothing close to that. Salted egg fried squid is great too. Awesome how they can keep the squid crispy yet fully coated with the salted egg gravy. We ordered green curry chicken and guava salad. They were good too. Only downside is that you’re paying Singapore prices for a meal in Bangkok. Overall, 5 stars and a standing ovation to a meal that has the ability to make a full stomach feels hungry again. 👏🏻👏🏻

👍👍 Honestly much better than maidreamin Akihabara 本店. Other than the super long food wait time, food was good. Staff were nice and kept coming up to talk to us. Very fun vibes with the mini concerts. Very cute everything. But of course very expensive.
