Superb tonkatsu - every bit as good as Tonkatsu Wako in Japan, to some extent better, as the shop here is very new and clean. (Their shops in Japan are something old and sticky, especially the one in Shinjuku Subnado) Anyway, tonkatsu is tender and juicy inside, and crispy outside as it should be, dressing for cabbage is perfect, so it's tonkatsu sauce. Staff is friendly, and I believe shop manager head Chef are both Japanese. Highly recommended, good food at good price - enjoy!

Its really good. Generous and good. For the start, cabbage n rice is free but we can't eat so much. 😂 Pork is tender. Curry is very generous and my extra order of curry comes in a big bowl. The sauces are same as other Tonkatsu restaurants. I love the croquettes, especially the super delicious crab croquette. It's so good! Definitely deserve the 5 stars rating although service may be slower during lunch and dinner time, it is well worth the wait. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My most favorite tonkatsu place is Bangkok! (The 2nd place is Katsushin) The breadcrumbs are super crispy and not oily (I got unlucky once at the branch at Siam though). Free extra rice and shredded cabbage. Tasty pickles. My favorite is the one with Cheese and Shiso leaves with cream croquet. The only thing I dislike is their miso pork belly daikon(?) soup. I found them to be too greasy to pair it with tonkatsu. I’d much prefer the classic miso soup or clear soup.

おいしかった(// ◠‿◠ )// When it’s come to deep fried tonkatsu here is on top of my list. The pork is perfect juicy and tender. Super fine slice cabbage is fresh 🥰 Good quality Japanese’s rice in a pot is keeping the temperature warm all the time. Oyster fried are creamy 🌟 match well with yusu sauce. Oh and green pickle is the beat pickle for all time 🥒🍚🐷🦪🥬 Happy moment ✨

Great place for tonkatsu. The portion is large and tastes as good as it looks. Rice, soup and cabbage can be refilled at no cost.

If you are looking for superb tonkatsu, don’t hesitate to visit Tonkatsu Wako! I’d say it worth every penny as extra cabbage and rice are free and staff deliver good service. Talking to my dish, I ordered Pork fillet cutlet which come with a big bowl of Japanese rice. Smells good and not greasy at all!

Short on staff. Long waiting queue. Food is great. Overall 3 stars max. Will I come again ? 🤔 Not convinced to come back, maybe, when I forget about the long queue and shortage of staff 😆 and, have I mentioned that it is so narrow it feels like eating with others at the same table. 😮 Definitely it is not a place to have a private conversation at the table.

loving ❤️ 💕 wako for almost 10 years must be this place ever never, even few times to go, when we visited bangkok and TKPARK ,thank you for keeping the high quality and service till now , just visited after 5 years still the same even better the price not changed how you can manage this impressiveness to customers, also even long line still good managing , willing to wait for your tonkatsu. my favorite is just ‘rice’ actually 🥰🥹

Tokatsu Japanese style Taste for me is okay, but you can feel is oil flavor myself don’t really like it. The most i like is Japanese (all you can eat). *only rice

Taste is okay, fried pork is nothing special, give some impression for the fried beef patty with cheese. Consider ordinary dining experience, long queue & pricey bill, I might do a skip next time✌🏻

One of yummy tonkutsu, rice and cabbage refill for free, fried pork is soft and juicy, cabbage fresh and yummy. I only one point disappoint that they have only one size for tonkutsu, I may need a bit bigger and some tonkutsu shop we can choose size. Waiting time for me is 30 mins during weekend at 5 pm, I guess during peak hour queue may raise up a bit. Worth to try

Really good Tonkatsu meal in town. Waiting not so long for a table of 4 people. We order a couple set for 2 people, sharing together. A set has pork, chicken with cheese, minced pork+beef, and shrimp. The service is really good, and Tonkatsu here is crispy outside and still juicy inside. Price is high, but has good quality.

One of the best Tonkatsu in Bangkok ! Food are excellent. Pork are well cooked and crispy. Rice are one of the best part and you can ask for more rice until you full. Cabbage are also good with free refill. English menu are available and staff can communicate English. But some staffs are noisy and they keep talking about their life. Seats in front of the kitchen may get some oil smell.

Food was above average. The better dish is the tonkatsu in sauce so your rice won’t feel dry. Curry was alright and the fried stuffs are not bad. Price wise is still cheaper than in SG and with free flow of cabbage and rice it’s worth the price. Total spent was THB1600+.

Wako is the best place for Tonkatsu. Crispy pork cutlets come with unlimited Japanese rice and cabbages, it's worth waiting for the queue. I love that Japanese rice here is very soft. I am so happy filling my tummy with good quality rice. The way they cook pork is just perfect. Love ❤️ Food quality are all the same for every branches I've been. The thing that I don't like for thia branch is there's only small space between each table. Other than that is good. Staffs are enthusiastic and provide good service

Tonkatsu Wako is situated on Lv. 6 of Central World. Very near to Kino bookstore. Can always get crowded from time to time. Wonderful tonkatsu as always. Premium Japanese Rice is also top notched here. Not much seatings compared to the demand and hype. Prices are a bit high compared to other tonkatsu authentic restaurants in bkk.

If you are after Tonkatsu, look no further! I recently dined here two times and I am pleased to say the experience was consistent both times: high quality food and good service. I opted for the pork cutlet set which was excellent- juicy pork, generous serving size, fresh / crisp cabbage and a big portion of steamed rice. As noted in other reviews, wait times can be significant so either get in early or otherwise just put your name down and enjoy waiting at their seated area or explore the nearby shops.

The wait was worth it. The tonkatsu is thick and delicious. The sauces are great. It is amazing they offer free refill on cabbage and rice but the portions are big enough. The price was great for the amount of food!

This was an impromptu dinner as i was craving for some katsu and when we were strolling around central world 6th floor , we spotted in and shared a katsu dish, right when we were waiting for our food ( since it was 4pm ) the queue started forming and there was about 10 people queueing! And i wasn’t disappointed at all as it was one of the best katsu dish i have tried, the crispy thin batter, juicy pork meat along with the hot sticky Japanese rice.. also the cabbage salad was incredible delicious , eaten along with the side sauce.i would recommend this definitely and do come earlier as there will be a line!

(One of) the best katsudon I've had in BKK. If you can only choose one to try, this is your option. Beware of the long queue, I've been to this place more than 10 times and everytime got queues to wait even it's later afternoon or early noon..

Pork Tonkatsu and its sauce was ok. I liked more side dishes, mashed potatoes and pickles. 😅 Rice and cabbage are buffet, unlimited orders.
