Restaurant Thai restaurant

👍 While it only had average reviews on TA, Nara claimed to be consistently among the best in Bangkok so that persuaded me in. The restaurant is gorgeous, but i presume being at Siam Paragon makes it a requirement. Service is good. As usual I1 had a hankering for prawns so i ordered their garlic prawns... People often mention good, restaurant, Thai, fried, service, rice, prawns, curry, Nara, great,

While it only had average reviews on TA, Nara claimed to be consistently among the best in Bangkok so that persuaded me in. The restaurant is gorgeous, but i presume being at Siam Paragon makes it a requirement. Service is good. As usual I1 had a hankering for prawns so i ordered their garlic prawns. There were actually 6 decent sized prawns so i opted out of my usual tom yum goong. I also got the crab fried rice. The prawns was fresh and delicious. Fried till it was crackling, one could almost chew the entire head. Almost. At 550B i think this dish is inexpensive!! The crab fried rice was ok but it lacked bite. Not spicy enough. I should have gone with the prawn fried rice but it may have been over'kill'. I would like to return to try their other dishes. 29 August 2019 - I returned for it again! And the Prawns fried in garlic tasted as good as before. This is a must-have dish if you visit. It is heavenly. 7 Feb 2020 - returned yet again for the garlic prawns although this around it wasn't as crispy as before. But still tastes as good. March 2022 - ordered the garlic prawns, pomelo salad, tom yum goong and the crab curry. While waiting I was told that they were out of crabs!!! The food arrived reasonably quickly so that was great. The tom yum was delicious. Decent sized fresh prawns and the soup was glorious. The pomelo salad was among the best I have tasted. This dish is not very common so it was great to experience this here. The salad was served with small shrimp and it was a combination of savoury and sweet mouthfuls that was just spectacular. The garlic prawns appear to have lost its appeal to me. The original dish I tried many years ago was amazing. Prawns fried so crispy that one could literally crunch down on the shell and swallow. That's no longer possible for my last couple of visits and that's a shame.

I recently dined at Nara Restaurant in Bangkok, and it is a well-known Thai restaurant with several branches located in malls. The food was delicious, and the restaurant itself had a nice ambiance. However, I found the prices to be quite expensive. While the quality of the food was good, it's important to note that it may not be the most budget-friendly option. If you're looking for a renowned Thai restaurant and are willing to splurge a bit, Nara Restaurant is worth considering. However, if you're on a tighter budget, you may want to explore other dining options in the area.

Very nice surroundings, attentive and competent staff add to a great dining experience in this Thai focussed restaurant which has a good menu of delicious food. Portions are well sized and reasonably priced. The chicken in coconut soup was amazing. Situated on the lower dining hall floor, this is well worth a visit!

We went in because they had a big sign saying they were an award winning restaurant but we came out disappointed. The service was good. The food was average, it was definitely tailored more for the tastebuds of Westerners. It wasn't bad by any means, but definitely below expectations, and there are plenty of better restaurants.

The food here looks great but does not taste good. Food arrives warm and not hot. We ordered the Chicken curry and the potatoes along with the onions arrived uncooked inside curry sauce. The Shrimp curry tasted horrible. The shrimps tasted really bad. I uploaded some pictures. Came back again this week for another try. Rice here is good. The curry sauce was not bad. The lamb shank meat though is a bit on the hard side and not as soft as it should be. If manager or owner is reading this please teach employees and chefs to deliver food hot to table and not warm. When it arrives at customer's table there should be steam coming out of food as if it just left the pan or pot and not as if it was put on a plate from a curry sauce which has been sitting for hours at room temperature in the kitchen

Disappointed of service. The server ask casher on the radio when customer just about to leave the table that my table had pay the bill or not fyi (I already paid the bill ) maybe she busy with something forgot to notice this table already check-billed I find a bit rude to do this in front of customer never see any restaurant do anything like this before. Food taste salty. Recommend go somewhere else.

We use the go city voucher to eat the set fish. The Pad Thai is so good with taste much better from other restaurants. We are special impressed with the hospitality service from waiter Bejay. He detailed explaining the popular dishes in Nara. We still remembered the smile from him.

After a long walk with the family, we craved authentic Thai food. Siam Paragon offers numerous fast food and dine in options. Opting for Nara, it exceeded our expectations. The menu is diverse, featuring many alluring options, and all our orders were exceptionally satisfying. The entire family, including my kids, enjoyed the delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I don’t understand the average ratings because I thought the food here was delicious… and it’s also consistent - every time I visit Bangkok I come here to eat. The durian sticky rice was the best dessert too. The presentation of the dishes and drinks are all lovely and the service is super attentive. It’s always full and usually has a short wait, so that’s a testament to its quality. Highly recommend that you give it a try!

Better than the Thai food you can get in Singapore. The chicken green curry and pineapple fried rice is really good.

Very good food, western “mall” prices. The pad Thai with shrimp was ok, the stir fried calamari with salted egg was excellent!

Nice cosy place for dinning especially having a table on the upper floor. No issue with their pricing as their food are really authentic and delicious. Service crew are very attentive and friendly.

Nara restaurant is a popular Thai restaurant located in Siam Paragon mall in Bangkok. It offers a range of traditional Thai dishes, including spicy salads, stir-fried noodles, curries, and seafood. The restaurant's ambiance is elegant and modern, with a sophisticated Thai-inspired decor. The food at Nara restaurant is average, lacking the wow factor that i was expecting

7 of us arrived on a Saturday around 7pm, still ample seats and tables available. Lovely and aesthetic environment and decor. Food was tantalising with great service. Fast serving too. Everything was good with quality especially its thai milk tea, green curry chicken, minced pork ball and coconut cendol dessert was so creamy 😋😋😋 Will definitely go again.

Excellent ambience. Great place to bring clients to dine in. Service, I gave three because it seems taking a long time for the staff to come and assist me for the payment and change. Food, it wasnt that great. The Tom yam was too salty, the phad thai was very oily and they just tried too hard to make the fried egg. Pineapple fried rice is just average to me. Vege and the complimentary appetizer were very good. Milk tea is great too... Another reason for 3 is that they charged 30 baht for hot water and 500ml water for 45 baht 😅

Had dinner here with family recently but i have been coming back over the years - it's foolproof thai cuisine that will be one of my top choices when i come to Bangkok. Order from their favourites menu you won't be disappointed.

I just ordered Tomyong rice noodle soup, the waitress were very pushy. It seemed that one dish is not enough for one customer for them. I was charged 10% for service. Why I should be charged for that kind of service. Too pricey,

Terrible experience. I ordered lemon chicken and rice with egg. The lemon chicken came quite quickly but for the rice I had to wait another 30 minutes despite two reminders to the staff. By that time the chicken was cold. Of course the plan was to eat it together. No apologies from the staff, nothing. I used to come often before. The level however seems to go down and nowadays it is a tourist trap. Was surely my last time.

Whilst most Thai eateries are good, I would have expected more flavorful dishes coming from this Michelin endorsed outlet. Only the river prawns vermicelli is worth mentioning.

Frustrating service. Ordered pad thai, waited 20 min, then after seeing two othe tables receive pad thai, I enquired about my order only to be told that it wasn't keyed in and if the waitress put in the order now, I could get it in 7 min. I said forget it. Don't know how they can get away with charging such high prices for terrible service.

The fried fish we ordered was good. However the pork knuckle was overfried and dry. Service is attentive.

We traveled from overseas, we just wanted a good Thai restaurant that had variety of authentic dishes in a pleasant setting. And we were not disappointed! We a family of 4 ate our heart’s contents with no leftovers and will not be touching Thai food for a long while! We are very content!

👍👍 Honestly much better than maidreamin Akihabara 本店. Other than the super long food wait time, food was good. Staff were nice and kept coming up to talk to us. Very fun vibes with the mini concerts. Very cute everything. But of course very expensive.
