Pimmy is a great teacher. Cooking classes are a great way of learning about local culture. We were a group of 6 ppl from all around the world and we had fun cooking the Thai dishes. The ingredients provided are really fresh and an introduction to each ingredient is the best part. The cooking stations are really cool, the group sizes are kept small to ensure better understanding of the cooking styles. This is a must go to experience.

We booked a cooking class with Pimmy in March 2016 and enjoyed it very much. When we got a message from Pimmy, she got cancelation for the afternoon class, we were afraid, she would cancel on us to, but instead we had a cooking class for only us TWO! How great. We went to the market, bought some stuff for the class and also for taking home and then started chopping, cooking, frying.... Pimmy and her help explained everything and were very patient with us. The food was awesome and because my friend couldn't eat it due to some stomach flue, Pimmy packed her food for us, so we could eat it the next day. Recipes are easy to understand. We are only worried, that we might not get all ingredients back at home... Thanks again Pimmy for teaching us some lovely dishes!

Had an amazing time learning how to make Green Curry, Pad Thai, Tom Kha Gai, and Sticky Rice from a great teacher. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to learn more about the culture of Thai cuisine

Very enjoyable! They have been doing this far a while, she had TWO assistants so there is lots of help. Everything was very well explained and timed. Do eat before you go, it takes a while before you actually sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor! Haha! (And maybe take some wine to enjoy with the meal!)

Pimmy and he staff were very good about meeting the group needs. Exploring the market helps us understand her options. Interesting usage of supplies. Although fun, many of the items cannon be made at home because the supplies are not easily available. To get an understanding of the food choices you can see in Thailand, it’s a great way to know what’s in the food.

My first ever cooking class and Pimmy did a great job in making it worthwhile. The market visit was very well explained in terms of identifying good ingredients and necessary ingredients for Thai cuisine. They organized every ingredient in an orderly manner making the cooking experience pleasant. They explained the use or traditional and available utensils for cooking and gave a recipe book as well. Enjoyed every bit of it, definitely recommend.

Pimmy was a great instructor and the meals were delicious. Not sure if I’ll ever make these meals again once I’m home (it might be too much work to find all the ingredients needed) but this class certainly gave me a newfound appreciation for Thai food. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a half day activity in Bangkok and who loves cooking.

I came to Bangkok for holiday while my husband worked. It was suggested to do a Thai cooking class while here - so I took advantage while my husband was in the office. It was a great class - very informative, as you first start at the local market across the street. Pimmy goes over all of the local ingredients and what to look for or what you could substitute for if you don't have it at home. It was very well organized - making it easy to follow along with her directions. Honestly, and not because I cooked it 😂, it was the best Thai food I had while visiting. The ingredients were just so fresh and flavorful! I would highly recommend this class.

We had a wonderful time with our great teacher and her friend who helped us understand about thaï ingredients by going through a market and thaï cuisine. I recommend if you want to cook some traditional meal.

It was definitely a fun activity to do while you are in Bangkok! We specifically chose the morning session as we wanted to go to the Thai traditional market before the cooking class. They offer different menus each day, our Saturday menu included a Thai curry, Tom Yum soup, prawns, and mango sticky rice. The ingredient for each dish was arranged and prepared beforehand, and the instructions were specific.

The food we made here was so delicious! It was so interesting to hear about all the different Thai herbs and spices at the market (and to pick up some to take home). Then our meal of papaya salad, chicken panang and sweet and sour prawn was delicious! The mango sticky rice was fabulous too! The staff were lovely, instructive and incredibly helpful - definitely recommend!

Super fun experience. All the instructions were very concise and well put together. This was a very authentic experience and I learned so much! Pounding the chili paste was great and the 3 ladies who helped us were so kind and great. The 4 hours went by very quickly as we were constantly entertained and doing things. The best part: the food!! It was the best food I had in Thailand and I made it!! Amazing flavors and so fresh. The market was very cool and local as well. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Nice small class with personalized instruction. Instructor spoke good English and very helpful showing how to do the techniques correctly. The three dishes we made were as good or better than you can get in a Thai restaurant! Highly recommend this class! Tip: they cook different dishes on different days. Would recommend a consecutive 2nd day if possible!

My wife and I from UK, joined 9 others from Australia, Hong Kong and Demark for a really enjoyable morning. We were given a talk about the types and varies of vegetables and spices in a local market 5 mins walk from the cooking centre and we're shown tips on how to select fresh ingredients before we returned and started to prepare our dishes. We made a fresh Thai green paste from scratch, which was hard work using pestle and mortar and chopped all the incredients to prepare our 3 different dishes which we cooked and ate together. Marvellous morning with lots of laughter and a real highlight. The children who attended also got a lot from the morning cooking. Well worth a visit and pick up a new skill.

This is possibly one of the best experiences I have had in Bangkok and one of the better ways to spend half a day at a very reasonable price. We cooked phad Thai, green curry chicken, tom yum goong, and mango Sticky Rice and it began with a trip to the Onnut fresh market just around the corner. Right up from food preparation, to cooking and finally, enjoying it. And to eat good food that you actually prepped yourself is just wonderful. Pimmy, our leader was excellent, assisted ably by Tia and Lakh. Great experience, good laughs and just wonderful food. At 1200B it is a real bargain.

Perfect end to my business trip work week. I went alone on a Friday morning (9-1) and enjoyed my tablemates, the instructor, her helpers, and the entire experience. The food was very good and so fresh, the recipe booklet was a great take-away, and the market tour was actually more instructive than I expected. Highly recommend!

We chose to do Pimmy’s cooking class to end our 2 week holiday in Thailand. What a great decision! We first visited a local market and learnt how to source the best ingredients, and then returned to cook 4 dishes. It actually amazed me that I cooked those myself! Thank you so much! Take the class and take home some great cooking skills👩🏻‍🍳☺️

TAKE THE CLASS!!! This was a highlight of my entire trip in Bangkok. I took the morning session which includes a visit to the local market. Everything was amazing, from the teachers to the food :) You also get to take the recipes home with you to remake. I unfortunately lost the paper with the recipes and emailed the company. They quickly responded and sent me the recipes via PDF. They are a lovely company doing an awesome job with their cooking experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Wonderful experience! Pimmy and her team are good chefs and they like to laugh with us so-called chefs... The visit at the On Nut market is much interesting. Our group had a pretty good vibe, the ingredients we're fresh and first quality. All in all, I strongly recommend Pink Chili and I will have to come back a som tam thai day :)

Great class, loved the host Pimmy, she had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable. The organisation and staff were super smooth, everything was taken care of so we could just cook our delicious meals. Highly recommend.

We loved the cooking class! Unfortunately we were stuck in traffic, so we missed the market part of the class. The communication with Pimmy and Fred was very good and understanding when we told them that we’re going to be late. The class setting was very professional and fun. Pimmy seems like a very passionate cook who’s still not taking things too serious. We had a lot of fun chopping and listening to her stories :) The premises were very clean and everything was well organized. While we were either listening to Pimmy giving us insight about Thai cuisine or chopping the ingredients, the trays with the ingredients for the other meals were prepared by her 2 assistants. We would definitely recommend this class if you have a couple of hours of free time in Bangkok :) Ps.: if you come from china town. Consider leaving 1,5 hrs before the class begins in the morning as traffic is very bad ;)

I applaud Pimmy & team. I cannot imagine a better Thai cooking experience for a first-timer from USA. Pimmy offers specific, very useful instructions in perfect English. And, the four Thai dishes we prepared were delicious.

👍👍 This is a good place to visit in Bangkok if you want to go to a place where Thai people pray and do tambun in their daily lives. I think it is a very good place to understand the Buddhist culture rooted in Thai life. However, since it is a place where Thai people take their prayers seriously, I th...
