    Overall Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3 stars) I recently stayed at Hotel Manhattan and had a mixed experience during my stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which was a positive aspect of my stay. The hotel's cleanliness standards were commendable, and I appreciated the effort put into keeping the rooms in good condition. However, I encountered some issues with the bathroom setup. While the bathroom itself was clean, I found it impractical that there was no place to keep soap inside the shower closet. This made taking a shower slightly inconvenient, as I had to step out of the shower area to grab soap when needed. It's a small detail, but it can make a difference in the overall guest experience. One major disappointment was the lack of cooperation from the reception staff. On two separate occasions, I approached them for assistance, and both times they declined to help. First, I requested change to pay for a taxi, but they refused to provide it. This seemed unhelpful and left a negative impression. Then, I had forgotten my phone charger in the office and asked them if they could charge my battery pack. Unfortunately, they outright denied this request, stating it was not a service available to guests. Even when I offered to provide them with the battery pack and simply requested a favor, they remained uncooperative. This was quite frustrating and left me feeling unsupported as a guest. On a more positive note, I found the parking staff to be much more accommodating and helpful. When I approached the parking person for change to pay the taxi, he was friendly and promptly took my 1000 note to arrange the change for me. His willingness to assist was appreciated and stood in stark contrast to the reception staff's unhelpfulness. In summary, Hotel Manhattan has clean and well-maintained rooms, and the bathroom cleanliness was also satisfactory, despite the impractical soap situation. However, the lack of cooperation and assistance from the reception staff was disappointing and affected my overall experience. The parking staff, on the other hand, was exemplary in their helpfulness. If the hotel can improve the level of cooperation and service provided by their reception staff, it could make a significant difference in guest satisfaction.

    Nice location & like antique hotel. Is an old hotel but all the room just newly renovated , new design, modern style. Near to mrt, bts Station. Terminal 21 mall is just 5 min walking distance. The staff is very helpful. But don't know why mainly 80% of their customers come from 1 country. The sales department need to improve on this area. Personally I feel it should grab more customers from others country around the world because of his location (sukhumvit). Not expensive, value for money.

    Location is super to go mall ,bts ,club bar,hotel lobby to room is to hygiene &full of amenities .Jane😊from reception she so polite & helpful gem of that hotel along with housekeeping staff .price is super affordable overall satisfied with hospitality of staff .

    Staying in this hotel was a mixed experience. I will not say its value for money. Let me discuss the pros & cons. Pros: The hotel is situated in a central location. Communication is easy. We got free upgrade to better room. The room was big enough with ample amenities. Cons: The hotel is very old. Carpet was very dirty. Overall cleanliness is not up to the mark. Breakfast choice is limited and not delicious. There are better hotel available in less price.

    My husband & I have stayed at this hotel 3x thus far, the 1st time it was a comfortable stay with a very basic breakfast which I think doesn't match the price paid. The 2nd time we stayed here the hotel had a power failure for almost 5hrs which left guests sitting in the lobby due to the unbearable heat in the rooms which was a waste of money for the 1 night since we didn't get to use/enjoy our room to the fullest. By our 3rd stay (3rd chance given) we gave up & would never recommend this hotel to anyone, after a 22hr flight we got to the hotel & were given a room which had no hot water at all, after 3 calls down to reception they finally sent maintenance guys up who ran the water then claimed it was the main water tank or something like that which caused this. Almost 2 1/2 hrs later & multiple polite calls from my husband down to receptionist requesting a new room she was terrible unhelpful saying she cannot assist as they have no rooms available...the frustration kicked in & I went down & asked for the manager whom I then raised my voice at demanding a trolley to be sent up for our luggage to be removed since we are checking out & 50% refund due to the terrible service & inconvenience which she refused this is when I informed her about my brother being booked into the very same hotel for 7 nights starting that same night & unless she wanted him to cancel his booking she was either going to refund us or give us a new room, she finally obliged & gave us a new room with hot water (so much for no rooms available). To the management of the hotel this hotel is beautiful, but the facilities & staff requires a lot of upgrading should you wish to bring in customers.

    The hitel is recently renovated so we thought it wl.be clean and as old hotel staff will be well trained. We took 2 rooms our check in time was 2 at 2.30 they provide us 1st room and the 1nd room till 4 they failed to provide us saying their house keeping manager need to give green signal after his final check. So we keep all our luggage in oue room and went out. We came back around 10pm and got the key of other room which ac was not cooling properly. And the first room flooded with AC leakage and when we complained a staff came and said you need to change the room as this AC is not okay. Then what was that so called house keeping manager check? I asked for a room in the same floor as my kids and old mom in law is in other room and I need to stay close to them they failed to provide that and keep a bucket to hold leaking water. The front office confirmed us next morning they will fix it asap. We went to hospital and came back at afternoon. Coming back found they cleaned the room so we thought they solved the problem. As it was our last day at Bangkok we went out and came back late. This time the situation was worse. I called front office and asked for cleaning and they informed they don't have house keepers at night ??????? And send a trainee type mechanic to check the AC. He came with two towel and wipe the water put some towel on floor and left without even trying to fix the problem. I have been to several countries and stayed different kind of hotels. But my experience has never been sooooooo bad. Rest bad things like no tooth brush, soap bar in wash room. Lack of trained staff, no pool towel till 2 pm though the pool start at morning, out of order women changing room in pool etc ... I am not even taking them in account. Only this AC situation is enough to provide a hotel no star rating and the staff even never apologized for all our inconveniences.

    The really good thing about the hotel is the location and the rooms are a good size. I also only paid 800 baht per night, it was still a Corona price..., The hotel is not worth more. Unfortunately, the negative points outweigh the negative points, the windows are not soundproof and all the noise comes inside. The hotel is extremely dark, I was here for 3 weeks and after 10 days I got depressed, no sun comes in the hotel or the pool except maybe early morning… The reception staff is extremely bored and not smiling, the beds are very hard, no Netflix on the TV, loud ventilation in the pool area that doesn't exactly make it pleasant, fitness room a joke. Poor equipment, it stinks terribly in the lobby, the bathroom also smelled of urine from time to time, some guests ignored the smoking ban and that's why it stank nicotine in the room from time to time

    1. The front desk lady ( night shift ) very unprofessional. English not good, cannot communicate with us. When you asking for help, she will just answer I don’t know and did not try to help at all. 2. Ask for plastic laundry bag ( normally hotel will provide to keep dirty clothes ), she just said the house keeping staff already back home during that time. 3. When we check out, we just tell her can check the room faster cause our grab driver already waiting us infront of the hotel, she tell us : 1 staff only, you got 3 rooms how to fast. This is how unprofessional answer given by a front desk. She can just reply in a more polite way saying that ok, will try my best. That’s all. 4. After checking the room, she say we took the laundry bag from the room which cost 30baht, BUT we didn’t take it, we don’t even seen the laundry bag before. But the lady keep want us to pay for the lost laundry bag, we ask her for the evidence that before we check in, the bag was there, but she cannot provide any. At last, we just pay because we don’t want to argue with her since is only 30baht even we didn’t took the laundry bag. Our time is worth more than 30baht. 5. The water for shower is super super slow and small. If you want to have a good shower after a long day don’t choose here. 6. The soundproof system also not good, you can here people walking around, when close door or ring the door bell. Can hear all kinds of sound here. Conclusion : WILL NOT come back, I willing to pay more for other hotels since there are many other choices in Bangkok. Thanks.

    No hot water and the swimming pool is the size of a bath . Gym is rubbish running machines don't work. Look elsewhere can find better easily

    We one family stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in Nov 2023 and our experience is very good. Rooms are big and clean equipped all the amenities. Breakfast is served at ground floor restaurant (Vegetarian breakfast very limited) . Hotel located in prime location Sukhumvit. There is 5 to 10 min walking distance for BTS Sky train (metro) station Asok / Nana and terminal 21 shopping mall. 5 star rating from my end.

    Dripping vent in the bathroom, room service isn't available a lot. Dingy rooms. The ac stopped working at some point for around 12 hours and they had no backups or fans. Definitely not 3 star service. And you can hear everything from outside including bells in other rooms, woke me up super early with incessant ringing in the next room.

    I traveled to Bangkok for Christmas 2022 and 2023 New Year's celebrations. Unfortunately, during my stay, the hotel's facilities were undergoing maintenance, which meant that the pool and gym were unavailable. The breakfast provided had a limited selection, but the quality of the food was satisfactory. They offered Halal and some Indian options, which I wasn't aware of as the food had changed to Halal due to Covid. Unfortunately, I cannot consume curry powder, so it was a bit disappointing for me. The kitchen staff were friendly and accommodating, but I found the receptionist to be a bit slow in assisting customers. Additionally, I had trouble connecting the TV and my phone. Toothbrushes had to be requested separately. Other than these issues, everything else was acceptable during my stay. ❤️

    I stayed in this 4 star hotel a couple of times. It is a clean well kept hotel. They have a good restaurant as well as a their own massage parlour. A bit pricy though. The area is a prime area of Bangkok Sukhumvit district. Nearby, is street shopping as well street food. Above all, major shopping malls such as Robbinson and Terminal 21 are at a walking distance.

    Quite a reasonable well priced hotel close to all services you need including the nearby modern Sirikit convention centre. I stayed here lately for 5 nights and felt at home away from my home. Very clean rooms, bedsheets are sparkling white. All staff are very kind and professional. Food is on point and l also enjoyed their wide selection of breakfast each day. Will visit again!

    If you want clean rooms and good location, this is the hotel for you. However the ac can be better. Swimming pool good. Mostly bangladeshi people staying. Overall for the price, it’s a good option.

    BTS near by. Location very good. Food is very good. The only drawback is the old man at night at reception is very very rude to all the guests. Otherwise all very good.

    Me and my family were here in april, it was horrible, dirty Windows floor were thin, toilet had Brown stuff under and beside the toilet, you could not choose much beside bread and jam, the pool were horrible it was murky green water. I dont reccomend staying here. Maybe if you are on a budget.

    I stayed at the hotel from the 21st October till 25th October 2018. I last visited them in year 2012. So much has changed. I felt the quality has gone down drastically. The hotel lobby use to be more bright and very lively. But now it has a dull and gloomy look. The rooms and toilets need a face-lift. The price you pay is not worth it. There are more better new hotels around for the same price. It is located in the most convenient spot to any Traveller. Transportation is not an issue and every shop is just walking distance. If they redo the hotel completely it would attract more. Ideal location for anyone who likes the Bangkok nights.....!!!

    This hotel is older and somewhat run-down, but for the price, I'd say it's a decent deal. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. It's in a borderline shady area, but that just adds a little flavor to the experience. No complaints.

    I will Never ever stay at this hotel. AGAIN! the service is the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed throughout my life. I asked for the ice cubes and called the operator and waited for 30 minutes and no one callback or came then I called again the Operator (they didn’t say sorry) they said they would come but guess? No one had ever came for another 30 minutes. So finally after I had waited for more than an hour. I went to the reception and asked the receptionist that I needed to borrow the hair iron, he told me that it should be in my room inside the drawer under the mineral water bottles, then I went to the room but there was a hairdryer inside the drawer instead a hair iron. Then I went back again to him and he told me that this hotel doesn’t have a hair iron to be borrowed without apologies. and I explained what had happened to the ice cubes and told him that I was so upset. He gave me the explanation but no apologies indeed. I don't know what kind of hotel with what kind of hospitality is this?? I really want to meet the duty manager but the receptionist told me that they had no duty manager so I d to meet the manager in the morning. So upsetting! I will never come back to this hotel ever. I grew up as a hotelier, so the worst service that I have received is disturbing me a lot the management should bring this matter to their attention if they want to keep running the business otherwise this hotel will be a history.

    Location wise is very good. Closer to BTS nana and asok. This area surround with restaurants, bars and shopping malls. This hotel area is very vibrant esp at night. I stayed for a week and everyday coming back, my bed is clean. Little bit odd with ammenities arrangement on bathroom, esp on shampoo and soap. I bought an ice cream cake but cant finish it, unfortunately this hotel not giving me sollution to keep on their fridge. :( . I ask for tooth brush because uts not available on the bathroom The gym equipment mostly not working.

    I paid 80$/night and compare to another same price hotel in Aukhumvit, this one isn’t really nice. In app it says 4,5 stars but actually more to 3 stars. But the lobby is quite good

    My wife and I stayed at this hotel. I liked the location of it. It's close to lots of restaurants and malls. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast served every morning was not too bad. We stayed for 3 nights, and expected different things on the buffet menu but it was the same food every day. Room service was quite horrible, both days, the cleaning lady didn't clean the bathroom properly. She didn't even leave fresh towels to replace the old ones.

    We choose this hotel to stay for 2 days. I must say if you want to stay in Bangkok reasonably from where you can see the city and roam around easily then this is the best place for you. All the staffs from room service to house keeping all of them are professional and well behaved. I had a problem with my AC at 1:PM and I got my problem solved at that time.

    I think the cons have been reflected in the price. And the main tourists alomost come form India. Pros: 1. The room is clean and big . 2. The lobby is gorgeous. 3. The location is good. 4. The cost is cheaper than adjacent hotels. Cons: 1. The temperature of the air conditioner couldn't reach under 25°C, even I set minimum temperature to21°C and if you wanna increase the fan speed, you'll get a lot of noise. 2. You'll hear an obvious noise when a train pass by and a sound from garbage truck which was working at midnight. 3. The temperature of the shower couldn't be warn immediately, would be waiting for over 5 minutes. 4. You will hear a very very loud voice and a vibration when the other rooms were being closed.

    Stayed there 3 days.. Everything good .Room was nice and big.. washroom was stylish... Room cleaning was not that great.. and when i was in hurry i requested to let me fill the bottle from hotel in house restaurant..they denied rudely..thats weird..

    we stayed for 2 days but No Hot water in bath rooms no action taken even we informed to staff and last day they said boiler is deflective. Rooms are neat.

    This hotel is located in a busy area. There are many pubs nearby. We stayed at 7th floor and we can still hear noises of people talking in the street. The sound proof is not good. We can hear the door bell of next room. The water pressure of the shower is not strong enough. The room flooring chipped.

    Nice hotel, the bed was soft, I slept in a quiet room. The breakfast was well adapted, the staff had service experience.
