I stayed at 4 different hotels in this range during my thailand trip, this was the worst one. The rooms are smelly, the toilet gets clogged up, some broken toilet fittings were the problem. The bad sweaty smell of the room was the most annoying. The location is also too deep and hard to commute from there.

Book the hostel part of this place. And it's not good. Bed is so thin and hard. Toilets not really clean. Quite a walk from the big road. Receptionist don't tell anything about service, WiFi password, etc. No towel provided and no curtain for privacy. The only good thing is they have elevator, security box and access card to enter the room. 10 minutes walk to pratunam market op

Dilapidated rooms. Rooms need thorough cleaning. Bad noise isolation in the room. It's pretty dark in the room because of the small window. Location of the hotel is great.

Not worth the price Breakfast- they are serving international food Staff/crew service- they need more training on handling their guests. When we stayed there no one helped us on carrying our baggage and luggages. They did not lend a hand on carrying them. They did not also assist us to our room. They do not like having conversation to foreigners because they are afraid to speak in English. Safety of the hotel- for me the hotel was not safe because there were not security guards on duty. The back lobby of the hotel had no staff on duty also. Quietness or privacy of the hotel - when we stayed there we hear the noise of the persons on the lobby, usually Chinese people. And it was so disappointing that you can't barely sleep well at night because of their noise. Security - the hotel will not make a notice that they will clean your room when you're away. We were shocked that they cleaned our room (I know that it was good) but we did not request it and we brought the key when we're out. I read reviews about stealing of things in the said hotel and the management did not to do anything to resolve the case.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying here, and it was far from the pleasant Thai hospitality I had come to expect as the front office staffs at this hotel did not live up to this reputation. My friends and I had booked a 5-day, 4-night stay in deluxe rooms with the expectation of spacious accommodations spanning 32mยฒ each. However, our rooms were not only significantly smaller than those of our other friends but were also situated in noisy corners due to the air conditioner fan. Our troubles began on the very first night when we approached the hotel staff requesting a room change. Disappointingly, they informed us that no rooms were available at that moment. We persevered and asked again the next morning, and this time, they agreed to accommodate our request. However, the room we received was even smaller than the initial one and still located in a noisy corner. We voiced our concerns, but we were told that no other rooms were available, and we couldn't return to our previous room as it had been supposedly occupied, although housekeeping confirmed it was still vacant. We continued to complain about the room size and noise issue the following morning. The staff informed us that we had to check out by 10 AM, and it would be our final opportunity to change rooms. We packed once more and hoped for a room with the same spaciousness as our friends' accommodations. However, the promised room change never materialized, and we were forced to remain in the same cramped and noisy space. Adding to our frustration, our room was not properly cleaned. Even when the next day one of our friends checked out and we requested to move to their room, the staff couldn't provide a definite answer, despite the room clearly being vacated. In conclusion, my stay at Cubic Hotel Platinum was marred by unhelpful, unfriendly, and uncooperative staff. Their inability to address our concerns and provide us with the accommodations we had booked left us deeply disappointed. Not worth the price.

Good place though deep into alley. Great staff, helpful and patient on handling questions from guests. Clean room with drinking water / towel / hair net / both types of shampoos. No toothpaste and toothbrush though. Good room rate. Decent breakfast if you donโ€™t fancy like 20 types of food for you to choose from and happy to have salad / milk and some rice with few dishes. Side note: Thanks to Mr Pete and his colleagues on settling the differences of booking information between the one they received and I booked. I am very happy and satisfied with the resolution. For you that going to stay there, do call them up to confirm the booking details. Especially if you have extra bed and plan to have breakfast before go out.

Overall the room is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. 10 min walking distance to AEC wholesale partunam and Platinum Fashion Mall. About 15-20min walking distance to Central World and Erawan shrine, the Phra Phrom shrine. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Itโ€™s pleasant to stay here during my 4days trip in Bangkok, the room was compatible with the low budget price, the location is walking distance to 7-11, night market, massage shop, and even platinum mall etc. and the staffs here are friendly & helpful. The cons of the hotel will be the road outside a little dark, it will be better if shuttle available, the sound proofing & hotel hygiene need to be improved. Overall, still a nice experience.

I booked this hotel for the location as its located near the pratunam market 5 stars for the location . Now Negative things about the hotel which every visitor should know : 1) Tuktuk seen in photo (agoda) looks like hotel provide tuk tuk for visitors but that false way of marketing they dont any such services 2) hotel is bit old and unmaintained hotel dont provide you hand towels , sleepers , towels , bedsheets everything were dirty and full of stains . You have to bring your own basic amenties like toothbrush, toothpaste , hair dryer , iron , water boiler etc . 3) staff is least interested to take care of tourists we picked and dropped our luggage from ground floor to the room by ourselves which was pretty shameful . They dont say you hi hello goodnight whenever you go through lobby not even they smile . I guess owner is not taking attention to this owner . So far i am not happy staying there i changed next day and will not come again

The only thing good about this hotel is its locality and the massage at the ground floor. It is found that staff are lacking in providing 3 star service to match what is claimed to be. Reception staff are always busy with things and they dont really know how to smile. House keeping staff are polite. But I dont believe the rooms are checked before guests chech in. The cleanliness a big issue in the toilet and shower. Most rooms do not have windows not even one. Dont be fooled by the photos that they put up. Its not fun staying in a room without a window is like staying in a prison. The management does not respond to your emails either. I have stayed in other local properties and the service, the choice of rooms, breakfast and overall service are far superior than this cubic hotel. I really dont have any thing positive to say.

Returning customers here and were very disappointed with the level of service this time round. None of our requests were met. And once when we genuinely needed to use the free transfer service no one willing to wait 2 minutes for us to bring the bags ourselves (forget the bellboy). The tuk tuk driver just left with other customers, no consideration that I waited for him for 10 minutes before so he could help his colleague carry a bench. Never again. Good breakfast. The fridge turns off when you leave the room, so no point of having it. Seems that the old Cubic is merging with Spitze, so now it's just a mess. Come stay here if you want to be the 1 dealing with it.

The room type is not as per what we booked, changes it without any advance notification. All the rooms are very smelly and dusty. Only 1 room card issue for 2 peoples, it is very inconvenient as 1 of our partner is sick, but the hotel is refuse to issue another card for us.

The hotel is good. Room facility is quiet old but acceptable. The location is an advantage when you can quickly and easily walk to mall or market. Many street food nearby. Easy to book taxi, tuktuk or grab.

Hi, we did book your room thru agoda at 24th July 2023 til 28th July 2023. On the first day check in, we realise the room is totally different with the photo shown as agoda website. The room is terrible dirty, lighting condition is too dark. Photo shown its bright and clean. And is different. We got photo proof. Room never clean ! So we has told the reception counter and request upgraded room and we willing to pay for the extra amount. But the staff said cannot its fully book. And we asked how about another hotel under Cubic which is Spenza hotel. She said we have to re-book again. So we do asked for refund, she said we have to contact agoda. We didnโ€™t even stay for an hour and we has proceed check out. Now agoda asked me to contact hotel and get the refund back. Can please give me a solution ? We not even stay an hour inside the hotel and check out in the first day ! And we have to waste another money to get another hotel for our trip ! Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thankyou.

Highly not recommend and not going to book in this hotel ever again. First is the entire facility needs some serious renovations. Hotel staff are rude. First room we got had a busted aircondition, they did not assist us accordingly with our room issue, even tried asking for a manager to talk about it and one of the frontdesk staff she even pretended to be the manager. and they couldnt give us another room to transfer it took them a day to transfer us to a different room, imagine sleeping in a hotel room with no aircondition nor electricfan. Then saw a cockroach in the bathroom where they transfered us the next day. Experience staying in this hotel is very frustrating.

  • 1/5 Caden P. 9 months ago on Google
Rooms are never clean - booked 3 rooms and they are all barely clean. You can expect to find hair, dust, cockroaches, musty smells (like a toilet and worse), stained towels. On top of the 3 rooms, we paid for an extra bed, costed 600bahts/night, totalling to 1800bahts, which came with a piece of brown cloth as a โ€œblanketโ€, rather than a proper duvet - and asked for an extra 600 bahts just to change it even though we already paid for the extra bed. You will also never get an extra key card because they rather let everything in the room (including you!) heat up in the humidity than risk you turning on the air conditioning, god forbid one of you wants to leave the room without the other person. The hallway smells like the toilet (pee?). Staff is usually friendly and there is a 7-11 close by.

Poor amenities and cleanliness. Bed bugs making us itchy and can't sleep. Location wise it's good but not worth it if you can't sleep at night

Location: It's very hard to find grab or taxi here because most of the drivers will missed the road, they couldn't reach you, in the end they'll cancel your request so you have to waste your time to walk very far away to get vision. Bathroom: don't have any place to let you hang your tower, your shirts and no where to place your shampoo etc as well. Broken safe box Broken hair dryer Staff keep making mistake for room arrangement, though we spoke English and Chinese. No slippers provided

Location is excellent, housekeeping is fantastic, the air conditioning is wonderful and they have a wide variety of TV channels. The beds are a little too soft, but still comfy (just be careful when sitting on the sides), but light sleepers beware as soundproofing is virtually non existent. Loud voices from the hall and neighboring rooms can easily be heard, along with noises like chairs and bags being dragged and rolled from the upstairs floors. The people working the front desk are a hit and miss. Some are really helpful, but others are too busy playing with their phones to pay attention to you. The massage place at the ground floor is so-so. If you have the energy, take a 5 min walk to the main road and try the 2nd shop on the left.

  • 4/5 Clymene P. 5 years ago on Google
The room is almost good. They don't just have toothbrush and slippers which most of the hotel have. The place is a lil far from the main road. the room is clean however they aren't changing the bed sheets and the comforter. The Breakfast is fine, its just that they have the same menu everyday as well as the fruits. The sugar in the buffet has ants. The hotel is affordable.
