Nice ambience, food not bad but a pity let down by terrible service thus the 1 star rating because it really spoilt the mood of my lunch group. The café is part of a hostel in the old part of Bangkok near the Democracy Monument that was featured in a Thai architectural & interior YouTube channel. Didn't managed to see the rooms but the cafe & courtyard garden are nice. Food & coffee was not bad BUT it took 1 hour before the food was served! The café wasn't full and we were the only guests that ordered food. We didn't order many food, just 3 rice dishes & 2 deep fried items. The lady manager (I assumed) could have at least warned us before we ordered that the kitchen would take longer to cook our food instead she came out with a pathetic comment "not long to wait" (After an hour???) when we asked why our food is not out yet. 🤦‍♂️ It was as if the cook went out to buy the ingredients or was late for work! Thai people are friendly but their customer recovery is sorely lacking despite tourism being one of the country's main industry for so long.

Good ambience , backpacker traveler vibe. Good outdoor garden seating with fans, cold chang beers , decent prices . Also has a small plunge pool but very crowded on hot day as it’s connected to the hostels guests too. Small inside for seats with AC.

There is a really cool place you can hangout, especially in their backyard garden area, while drinking some fun-flavored cider and listening to absolutely fantastic music (only on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, we heard).

An unexpected found after my journey from Loha Prasat. Was looking something to eat and found this. This is at the same street with the Loha Prasat. The view just a surprised after I entered. They have a big garden behind to let you eat and drink. There is a pool behind I believe it is for the hotel guest. The food is good and they offered a lot choices for the beer too. The service is great and fast but maybe too fast. I just went to the toilet and they clean my table and my beer :-( Overall it is good but try not to go it alone as they clean too fast :-P

Great place to grab a drink - even some Thai craft beer options. Feels a bit more familiar than some of the extremely loud and touristy spots. Nice garden out the back. Would be a good first stop to consult a guidebook before venturing out…

We were looking for a place to hang out in the area. I went with two of my friends, we all live in here in Thailand and were not staying in their hostel called "Here." We walked in not knowing that we should order at the register first and take our number to a table. The middle-aged lady was very rude and short with her words. We felt rushed to pick what we wanted from the menu -- how were we supposed to know we couldn't sit at a table and order from the get-go? We found you on Google Maps. We didn't mind not be able to order from a table, but we shouldn't be given the "death stare"/look of impatience when we took only 3 minutes to decide. We sat and ate, and as we were about to move outside to the patio area, I was about to order another cocktail. She scolded and said "not serving anymore!" (this was at around 8 pm). I asked her when they would close and she said "11 pm." Everybody outside had a beer or a cocktail in hand. We didn't understand why we weren't welcomed from the very first sight of seeing us. We were not loud, rude, or drunk, and we spoke to her very politely, even when she was rude. Is it because we weren't your hostel guests? As soon as she was speaking to her hostel guests, she switched up her tone real fast. Business is business, we should be treated well when we are spending money at your establishment. What a shame. We immediately walked out after that and did not say a thing because she wasn't worth our words. We will absolutely not be returning. Other staff were nice enough, but that woman was horrendous. Food, okay.

The place to grab a cold one at a great price with buy two get one free offer on local Chang schooners. Hip tunes and casual setting.

This cafe and restaurant is my favorite one around this area for a long time. I like to come here many time when I have a day off, hanging around or when I have a haircut too! Coffee and atmosphere is my Top1 of this place. Closed to pier and many temples. They also serve food and drinks too. When you look from outside is small. But when you walking in, have two spots. Indoor with a.c. and outdoor open air next to hostel same company. The place is so comfortable. You can come alone or with friends also good 🤗

Expensive seeing as it’s attached to a hostel! Service was incredibly slow and really let down the atmosphere and ambience of the place. We weren’t told about happy hour and the signs were all faced away from the counter, when I asked as I went up for my second drink one was turned round and I was told it ended in 10 minutes- seemed purposefully deceiving. Shame, because it’s a cool location with a good mix of people.

We got flat noodles with pork and it was delicious! And we got some coffees which were great. Would highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, coffees, alcoholic drinks etc.

A great little find that was lively, good music, food and drink. Was very reasonable on price as joined to the Here Hostel. Highly recommended for all ages for a decent breakfast or buzzing evening.

Loved it! I don't know if it's the same in working week but on Saturday there's folk rock Thai music and the atmosphere is really nice, not crowded and easygoing It's a bit expensive but has beers you can't usually find in Thailand

Super cute chilled bar in the centre of Bangkok. There are lots of international people anda very, very good atmosphere. International craft beers too. The food was nice! I only had spring rolls so I cannot really provide a lot of information on any other menu item. We had a great time.

What a vibe! This place is the ideal place to meet new people. Beer garden looks stunning at night. 3 small Chang for £5 which is decent. Haven’t stayed at the hostel so can’t comment on that but heard good things from people we met there. Would recommend this place 10/10 for solo travellers looking to socialise!

Great breakfast! Zero service and rather unpleasant staff. Maybe spoiled by the backpacker hostel that's part of it.

Wonderful Cafe and Restaurant with normal prices in a beautiful setting right in the old part of Bangkok. Friendly staff and a very instagramable ambiance. If you're visiting wat saket and want to stop for food or a drink, this is the place with just a few minutes of walk, away from the temple.

Traveller-friendly place. The garden is beautiful and with a chillax vibe that is surprisingly hard to come by in busy BKK. The staffs are energetic. Good foods and beverage at a reasonable price.

Cozy little place. Just great!

Just peaceful. A small escape. I wished I had some space like this of my own.

I ordered dirty coffee, caramel latte and yuzu cappuccino. The dirty (95 baht) and latte are above par, very aromatic and have a tender texture, highly recommended. The yuzu is ok as well. Minus one star because in the picture there is a golden leaf but I didn't get it in my order.
