Would NOT recommend this bjj gym for traveller's or anyone in Fact! On my arrival I was completly ignored by the girl at the front desk while she had casual conversations with other people in the gym even though she could see me standing there waiting to sign in. Luckily One of the students noticed this and was kind enough to point me in the right direction to get changed for class.. After changing into my Gi and ready to step on the mat the girl from the front desk finally approached me and asked if I was fully vaccinated and if I could provide proof? (not a problem at all i said, as I was fully vaccinated and had the documentation with me on my phone). She then preceeded asking for a recent negative ATK test taken within the past 24 hours? Which I didn't have due to the lack of any updated advice or notification on their website/social media platform that this would be a requirement to join a class.. Therefore I was turned away and told I was unable to train without providing one!! The funny thing is.. while getting changed out of my Gi and back into my clothes I had the chance to speak to some of the regular students at the club and found out NONE of them were asked to provide a negative ATK Test to train there!?! Which made me feel discriminated against and also the lack of common sense at this gym! First gym I've ever been turned away in 7 years of training BJJ all around the world.

since the first day, when visited this academy, I was warmly received. and all over this time this never changed. Adam & Jem are, how should i said, they are unique. they spread such a lot of positive vibes, it's just contagious. the knowledge and how they teach is for beginner and advanced highly recommended. So to every BJJ fanatic who is around Bangkok, go and walk-in!

Q23 Academy is a fantastic place to learn Jiu-Jitsu. Adam is an amazing coach who is supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable, and is prepared to answer questions in detail until you understand. The other members of the academy are very welcoming, making Q23 really feel like a family. The Gracie Combatives are a great introduction to Jiu-Jitsu, along with the 'sport' classes for those who wish to learn 'pure' Jiu-Jitsu. Regardless, the instruction is excellent and patient, and everyone there helps one another. I couldn't recommend this academy enough to any Jiu-Jitsu novices or experienced practitioners who are living in or just visiting Bangkok.

Trained at Q23 for about a year while living in Bangkok. I've had the privilege of training under some of the top instructors in the world and Adam is unquestionably one of the best! Not only is he a great teacher and friend, he and his wife Jem have created an amazing gym atmosphere that's very welcoming and community oriented. Definitely the place to train when visiting or living in Bangkok.

Wonderful place to train BJJ, whether as a beginner, an experienced coloured belt, or for kids classes. Coach Adam is an excellent instructor and he and Coach Jem have built a friendly, welcoming community. The mats are kept spotlessly clean and safety while training is always observed.

I've had the privilege of training here during my 2 weeks in Bangkok for work. Great vibe and place, everyone is very comfortable and chill. Felt really welcome here! English lessons. Coach EJ's style of really breaking down techniques and moves in a detailed and methodical manner is very educational and is great not only for newbies but also experienced people who wants to refine their game. Coach Eric gives the most practical advice I've heard in a while and is always ready to share what he knows and how to improve others. The rest of the team here is fantastic, and it's been such a great time. If I'm ever in Bangkok or moving here, I know where to go to!

Having started my BJJ journey for almost 2 years ago, I find Q23 BJJ Academy is the absolute best place to train at. The classes are taught by very professional coaches (coach Adam and coach Jem) who have both decades of teaching experiences and practical knowledge in competitive BJJ. Coach Adam has very in-depth teaching method for practitioners who want to learn some serious BJJ skill, at the same time the class environment has a family / friendly atmosphere. Q23 teaches practitioners of all ages, most of all what children can gain from the class is respect. The class also welcomes anyone traveling through Bangkok, and I have met many wonderful people from all walks of life who have shared their BJJ skills and experiences from elsewhere and continue to return upon their next visit. I feel very privileged to have such a skilled BJJ coach teaching here in Bangkok.

Everyone is welcomed at Q23 BJJ Academy, safe environment for novice learners and tough rolls for advanced practitioners. Convenient access from BTS Nana. Highly recommended.

I've been to several gyms, and this was the best jiu jitsu facility I've ever attended. They have a feet washing station right next to the mats. It's in a clean and fancy office building. They have showers, unlike most gyms in the United States. The staff was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. The instructions were high quality and very clear and I always got personal feedback when we were drilling. I will definitely return when I'm in Bangkok again. Also, this review was unsolicited, which I appreciate.

Great place to train while in Bangkok, Thailand. Super accommodating as they sell water there, have gi rentals and have clean bathrooms and showers. I did the gi class with Coach Eric and learned some new techniques I can take back stateside. Plenty of partners with lots of rolls. There was a drop in fee but was very reasonable. I'd recommend bringing your ID/passport as you will need it to access the elevators to get to the facility. Highly recommend and will be back next time I'm in Thailand.

Lovely place to train BJJ. Extremely knowledgeable & experienced coaching from black belt Adam Kayoom Shahir and a very friendly community. My child trains under the kids Gracie Bullyproof programme and LOVES it. I train gi and no gi classes. Clean mats and just a really nice environment. Thanks!

Fantastic training experience. Adam is a great instructor in every way. He's very skilled, knows how to explain, he's fun to train and roll with, and he's super nice. The same goes for the students. Everyone I rolled with as a good partner. Huge plus is the service as well. I could rent a gi and just leave it there to get washed. That was very convenient. I plan on coming back to Bangkok for a few weeks to train here again.

I've been learning BJJ at Q23 for around three years now. I have a very small figure compared to other guy, when I started BJJ I weight only around 44 Kg. However, this place never makes me feel small. Everyone here supports each other, no matter what belts you are. I feel encouraged to learn and explore, I have a lot more confidence in myself since I joined Q23. Another thing I like the most is safety, I always feel comfortable to roll with a guy twice my size. Coach Adam always taught everyone that the safety of your partner is the most important thing on the mat, not winning the roll or tapping people out. And I can assure that everyone follows that sincerely. Not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to start learning BJJ even if you have zero experience in martial arts.

Best gym in BKK, clean facilities, nice people and the best location right there at the BTS Chitlom. Also beside a huge shopping mall with food court which can come in very handy after training.

Wow, what an awesome gym. The coaches are fantastic. Super technical, great instruction, impeccable atmosphere, the gym itself is effing BEAUTIFUL. Wish I could train here full time. 4 sessions here and I feel like I leveled up a bit. Thank you to EJ, S, and E. I will be training at Q23 the moment my next business trip brings me back into town. Thank you so much. 5 stars. Above reproach.

I was only in Bangkok for 48 hours but contacted Q23. They replied really promptly. They sorted me with a rental Gi and I felt really welcome. Great, technical class and some brilliant rolls at the end. A lovely bunch of friendly killers, exactly the blend you want at a club.

I always stay in Pratunam area during my holidays and finally there's a BJJ gym within walking distance. Simple setup but wasn't disappointed at all. Coach EJ directs and explains fine details to ensure everyone has something to take away regardless of level. The whole place is clean and there's nice shower facilities right outside the gym. Will definitely be back when I visit Bangkok again.

Family friendly gym where whole family can come and practice safely. Great place for women and kids too! I started as a newbie here, but because of coach Adam and the teammates, I could continue on this path. Excellent instruction with detail and guidance for both beginners and advanced students.

Adam is great instructor and man, even after two years of being fortunate to train with him I have great memories and lessons learned in his gym... great group of training partners too ...

Great school, incredible facilities. Really clean, there is a foot wash before you get on the mats. I really enjoyed rolling here and will be back next time I am in town. Had some great rolls with some very game pupils. Thank you everyone at Ohana BJJ!

Beautiful gym, very hospitable. I stopped by on my visit to Bangkok and was welcomed very warmly by the owners. It's a great space- crazy high ceilings with equally tall windows, super cush Dollamur mats. Very clean, and centrally located right of Sukhumvit (BTS Chidlom). Really enjoyed training with the people there.

Came here for 4 classes. Great place for international visitors. The facility is large, clean, well air-conditioned. Lots of challenging but fun rolls with people visiting from all over the world. The instructors are also incredibly nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place.
