A three story, membership movie theatre that plays classic and cult movies. The monthly calendar offers themes according to genre, directors, actors, and awarding movies. Movies start at 8:00 pm and are only shown once. The inexpensive yearly member's fee allows you to see all movies for free that year. There are three screens, but you need to make reserve your seat in advance. A full bar is available and Thai food to order.

Just so unique, fascinating, cool, and special. Hidden gem is a cliche, but this is the definition of one. A gorgeous, little-known passion project, with a cool owner who shares it with those in the know.

The Friese-Greene Club is among the very few independent cinemas in Bangkok. The selection of films showing here are greatly curated by the owner, who would be there most of the time to provide wisdom about movies. The club also has a bar with variation of reasonable-priced drinks. If you are looking for a relaxing night at the movies, with a good drink in your hand, and a talk with some great minds, this place is highly recommended.

Great props with tons of screenplay and film directing books. House IPA is complicated within its spicy soul.

Favorite place for watching classical flicks with a 9 seater screening room on the 3rd floor and a speak easy bar on 1st floor, with a lounge with a TV on the 2nd.

One of the city's true hidden gems. Enjoy classic films in the eccentric setting of a converted townhouse studded with cinematic memorabilia. There are screens on 3 floors, the best in the attic with 3 tiny rows of tiered seats. The habitues are an appropriately quirky bunch of old expats. The proprietor is a charming cinephile with fascinating tales from a long career in film, from child star to director. Apart from the fairly nominal annual subscription, it's free. And there's even a bar with real ale!

Best place in all of Bangkok to see classic films. Parking is available at the 5 star hotel nearby. The owners are super nice. And you will meet fellow cinema enthusiasts here.

The personality of this club is amazing - everything from the vibe of the building to the owner’s love of film adds to the quality of the experience. We plan to make this a weekly (or several times weekly) event for us.

A great little private club that caters to the movie enthusiast. The friendly and knowledgeable owner is himself a producer, director, cameraman, and actor. They have a small bar which stocks several brands of beer, not least of which is the IPA on tap, and of course other standard drinks. Food may be ordered from nearby outlets and consumed in the club. A different movie is played at 8pm every day except Mondays when they are closed, and may be viewed on the large TV screens around the ground floor or on a larger projection screen on the mezzanine whilst seated in genuine cinema style seats (limited availability). Membership is open to any interested party and the club sends out a monthly newsletter with the movies scheduled for the month ahead. Bear in mind that it is a movie club, so there is a strict code of silence (or at least limiting any conversation) during the movie.

Lovely intimate film career themed lounge. Limited menu but they offer food from other venues nearby. Quiet with lots of film noir literature, so don't expect entertainment, but there are a few characters about, including the owner. Private so you need to pay a small fee to join, or come with a member.

It has three levels and you hire the place out for relatively cheap. They have food packages and an impressive extensive craft beer selection. The seats are comfortable, the staff are friendly and the owner is insightful.

Always entertaining. Fair priced drinks. Interesting venues. Proprietor and former child actor Paul Spurrier plays host to an assortment of movies and lively cinema discussions.
