A really massive and wonderfully built mosque. This is the chief mosque in Banjul and headed by the Imam Ratib of Banjul, the leading Imam in the country. This mosque has a large prayer ground in front of it. The grounds also has a large room to perform ablution. Wheelchair accessible.

A great masjid it is A well build masjib I have ever since in gambia,i love this masjib A mosque i always pray juma'a at, especially Ramadan and it last ten days people pray there.you can only heard only beautiful voices of recitations of the noble quran by young people. Banjul central mosque is one of the most beautiful mosque u can see in gambia.my respect to our imam
