The ticket is a small chocolate bar, very cool. You enter and in an unguided unsupervised tour. The tour shows the history of cocoa processing and chocolate, with some videos and some tools. There are also chocolate made statuettes. It was a nice visit, 30 minutes.

Well I'm a little bit disappointed as l expected for more. The museum is super small my visit only lasted for 15 minutes more or less. They is nothing much to see. I think it's ideal for kids but not for grown ups.

Not worth your 6 Euro or 5.10 Euro with student discount. Slow to get in - the lady working wouldn’t let us look in gift shop without first paying, and then took forever to sell tickets to the two couples in front of us who spoke Spanish and received about 3 or 4 minutes of instructions each. Our check in lasted about 1 minute which consisted of her scrutinizing the three kids student IDs - again to get a 90 euro cent discount. Most of Museum are old and dated displays and 1960’s projectors. Surrounded by huge chocolate displays, like tin tin or Star Wars made of chocolate. Best part of the tour was the chocolate bar - very small - and all dark chocolate, my favorite!! But some churros and eat them elsewhere.

the museum offers amazing exhibits featuring realistic sculptures of pop culture icons, but made entirely out of chocolate and other edible materials. if you’re with a group, they also offer baking and candy making classes. great way to spend an afternoon

The chocolate museum was a bit disappointing. we watched a lot of videos about chocolate and coco history but we can find the same history in many places around the world. The choclates in the shop are good at best and not worth buying them. So if you have a spare time you can go there but its not a must in Barcelona

It was a nice experience. I liked the ticket that comes as a chocolate bar . The place is quiet interesting but it’s mainly structures made out of chocolate.

A smaller museum, though how much can be said about chocolate. Some informative displays of the history and many displays of chocolate sculptures from highly skilled artists. The attached cafe has some amazingly delicious treats, and with a patisserie school attached to the museum, the optional tickets for classes are HIGHLY recommended!

This is a great little museum to visit especially if you love chocolate. We did a chocolate and wine/cava pairing. We ended up being the only people in the tasting so it was fun to learn about the chocolate while having some yummy wine. The chocolate sculptures were near too. This is a pretty quick stop if you aren't doing the tasting.

(Translated by Google) It is a museum and as in all the museums you are going to see, people who give low marks because they do not give them chocolate do not understand it. In the Dali museum they do not give you any paintings? Or that in the zoo they do not give you an elephant? It is a very beautiful museum where you can see monkeys in many ways and for years I have loved going to "la nit dels museus" it is an explanation of the beginning to use chocolate in our diet, very beautiful and large figures are waiting for you so that you can see. For me a nice museum. In one of the oldest neighborhoods in Barcelona.

Nice museum, awesome smell as soon as I step in. No tastings, but a small cafe. But! Expensive! €6 per person, and then the smallish chocolates (50g, 80g, etc) and single pieces (€3.50).

Only stopped by because it’s included in the Barcelona museum pass, definitely don’t think it’s worth it otherwise. The exhibit is okay. The best part is that your entry ticket is a chocolate bar

Being a chocolate lover I decided to visit the museum. We knew that at the entrance the ticket was in the form of a chocolate with the flag of the country you come from, but we received another flag. the museum is not very big and starts by exposing the history of chocolate. In the museum you can see various chocolate figurines - gorilla, Don Quixote, Star Wars, Sagrada Familia, Louis Armstrong etc. While we were visiting the museum, în a separate room there were some kids making their own chocolate. I dont know if that experience is only for them, bit it would be interesting to make your own chocolate bar. When you leave the museum you can buy chocolate or drink something. it was a decent experience.

The museum is very little. The things that I liked the most was the entry tickets because it’s a mini chocolate bar which is great btw. The cafeteria space is pretty but the museum itself I think is small and you leave wanting to know more. The chocolates are delicious.

Very cool place to spend half an hour before having a hot drink/dessert in the cafe. It seems to be a little cheaper to buy tickets online. Prices are quite expensive as you'd expect from such a place.

Not as good as the chocolate museum in Bruges but you can see some very interesting statues entirely made of chocolate in the displays

Very small museum, it's just a big room. The best part is the edible ticket. There are three video "caves" but they are too loud. There are some chocolate sculptures, and a couple of machines to see. There are also workshops here that might offer a better experience, but you need to book in advance, and we didn't.

Incredible sculptures in chocolate. You get an "entry ticket" which is a small dark chocolate bar with a scannable QR code. After passing the tourniquet you can eat it 😀. The cafeteria sells the tastiest chocolates I ever had (and I had quite a lot in my life). Highly recommend.

Fun and different museum! Audio was laid out weird and a little too long compared to the number of exhibits. Fun to see all the chocolate sculptures. The smell is heavenly!

Small museum with an overview over the history of chocolate and a selection of chocolate sculptures. The best part is definitely the ticket in form of a chocolate bar. There's also several events like chocolate bar making available, I haven't tried any though. It was nice but nothing special, maybe booking an activity it improves.

Small museum. With kids, you will probably appreciate only chocolate models, which are nice. History of chocolate would be fine to know, but kids would be bored :(. Snacks after museum visit are great.

  • 4/5 Patsy G. 4 years ago on Google
The museum adequately covered the history of chocolate. There were chocolate sculptures, but none recent. The class was fun, we got to take a lot of our chocolate creations with us. The museum ticket was a chocolate bar. ? Enjoyed the instructor Carla. There was plenty of chocolates for sale as well.

They offer informative videos and barcodes to learn more about chocolate. I especially liked the entrance ticket: it's a chocolate bar with a barcode on it. They even give you the chocolate in the colour of the flags of the country where you are from. For the first time in my life I was able to eat the entrance tickets ?

(Translated by Google) The museum is small but very complete. There is the option of carrying out directed activities that I think are all highly recommended. We chose the Xocolating activity and it is fantastic! The girl who has given the activity very dynamic, very small groups and you can get a little closer to the world of chocolate. Highly advisable to visit the museum with an activity. We will surely repeat with another activity. (Original) El museo es pequeño pero muy completo. (Translated by Google) Very pleasant and very particular museum. The idea of using chocolate bars as an entrance ticket is nice. Chocolate sculptures among the most diverse and well made! In the refreshment area, many chocolate delights are displayed. The only flaw is the short duration of the exhibition, to be expanded. (Original) Museo molto piacevole e decisamente particolare. (Translated by Google) Good museum, entertaining. And in the end you can buy chocolates and / or all kinds of products made with chocolate. The small mistake, for me, is that they put the chocolates in a paper bag. It would be much better if they offered boxes of different sizes so they could place the chocolates better. (Original) Bon museu, entretingut. I al final pots comprar bombons i/o tot tipus de productes fets amb xocolata. El petit error, per mi, és que et posin els bombons en una bosseta de paper. (Translated by Google) That the entrance is a chocolate bar is a sensational way to start the visit. There are plenty of sculptures of chocolates and a didactic exhibition on the origin of cocoa and the production of chocolate. The audiovisual they have looks fatal and more, shorter and better videos are missing. The store is full of wonders at a fairly reasonable price. A small but well structured museum, having one of the best possible themes. Chocolate. It'll give you a quick history of chocolate, from the Centre-American nations discovered in the 15th-16th century to modern ways that are used to mold chocolate. The best part is that even the entrance ticket is made out of chocolate!

  • 4/5 Antonio B. 2 years ago on Google
A good activity for rainy days. Not so much to see in this museum, but the price (6 euro) for an adult is a okay. The chocolates though you can buy are pretty nice.

  • 5/5 Aliyah K. 3 years ago on Google
Small but after several museum visited at the end of day it's perfect with a chocolate ticket to eat and a hot chocolate after the visit.

  • 1/5 Senka R. 2 years ago on Google
It's just sculptures made of chocolate, which in it's self is amazing, and some machines not explained what each is. Some things didn't work like a program about something I don't even know what and the turning wheel. Not really good for kids. All activities are from 4pm only.

Cleverly designed space. Brightly lit and full of interesting displays, exhibits, videos. The museum combines both historical pieces with contemporary art and displays. There's an interactive Q & A component and an area where visitors can watch museum staff making chocolates. Nice gift shop with chocolates from around the world. The admission is very reasonable and you can visit the gift shop and cafe without paying the admission price.

Not great not terrible. Cool ticket (that is also a chocolate you can eat later) but beside that not so much to see, few great chocolate sculptures and that's it. Not great not terrible

  • 5/5 Besnik L. 4 years ago on Google
Cute little place. Chocolate is great though. Made a great impression on our family. Especially my 3-year-old. He now thinks that all museums give you chocolate when you visit. The fact that they have a cooking school next to it, just adds more value. Recommended, especially for chocolate lovers.

A great museum, the chocolate sculptures are incredible. The scent of cocoa follows you around the museum and the best, the ticket is literally a small chocolate bar!

  • 3/5 Imola D. 2 years ago on Google
The ticket, 6€, was a small a bar of chocolate. The museum might be an interesting activity for kids, but for us it was not. Don't expect too much: you will a see a few machineries and a lot of chocolate figures. I think for us would have been better to invest the entry tickets in buying more chocolate as it was really good 😅

  • 3/5 Olga W. 2 years ago on Google
It’s not too bad, but also not too good. Ticket is a chocolate bar which is cool. Other than that no fireworks.

  • 4/5 Xenia B. 2 years ago on Google
Nice little hidden gem in Barcelona. It provides some info about the chocolate origins & chocolate making history. The best part? The entrance ticket is edible!!!!

  • 5/5 Edgar Abraham Gaytán Q. 2 years ago on Google
The story of how chocolate arrived in the old world and how it became publicly available is easy to understand, thanks to the multiple displays and summarized text on the exhibitions. You'll need between 1 hour or an hour and a half, but no more, it is a small museum. The prices are fair and the experience is different from other museums. The fact that the admission ticket is a chocolate bar is a big plus.

The place is a nice add on to Barcelona tour but I think is good only of you done most of the others thing that you can see there ( of which there are plenty). The tour takes about half an hour to an hour, there is an audio guide available on your mobile phone. The museum seems to be more children orientated but still there are some useful facts. Really liked the ticket wich is a QR code printed on a small chocolate :D

  • 2/5 Ioana 1 year ago on Google
I love chocolate but it was not as I expected. The museum is very small and it has a few impressive chocolate figures. It is more like a place to drink a coffee and eat some chocolate, not a museum per se. I didn't pay attention when I bought the tickets so I got €10 less.

  • 5/5 marelise v. 1 year ago on Google
It's very cute that your admission ticket is a chocolate bar. I loved the explanations on the audio-visual sections - the origin myth of the cacao tree, the rise of cacao, and the spread of it in Europe. The chocolate sculptures are all really well done, and it was cool to see the old implements and machinery used to process chocolate.

We went on a public holiday and open doors day so the queue was quite long. I am sure that their bookable activities are great, but the museum itself was disappointing. You get a chocolate bar as the entry ticket tho!

  • 5/5 Liska Naemi M. 7 months ago on Google
I visited the museum with a ticket for the chocolate tasting experience. The museum portraits the history of chocolate interestingly and showcases some very impressive chocolate figures. The chocolate tasting workshop is not only nice because of the chocolate, but also insightful as you learn a lot about the process of making chocolate as well as the fruit’s origin. For the experience and the museum I’d it’s a fair price!

Cute little museum where you can learn a little bit about chocolate and how it came to Europe. The museum also shows statues made of chocolate. The museum is quite small, but afterwards you can enjoy some chocolate at the cafe or buy some souvenirs.

A small but exciting exhibition of both chocolate sculptures and historical chocolate production tools. Nice coffee with locally produced chocolate goods is at the entrance. Worth visiting.

  • 4/5 Hien Pham T. 10 months ago on Google
I think it's a private "museum". I would not call this museum, but rather a showcase of the socola company. But yeah, the ticket is only 6 euros so 🤷

  • 4/5 Muuk K. 6 months ago on Google
The chocolate art is a real wow, i was amazed, otherwise get an overview of chocolate history. Also a variety of chocolate bars at sale, bpight me one containing salt crystals and another one with sugerized oranges.
