The food was ok, nothing special. The problem was that no one was speaking English. We weren’t able to quite understand what we can order if it weren’t the 2 or 3 photos at the back. Only one guy was speaking English on a very basic level and it was pretty much impossible to made a conversation with him.

In my opinion, this place is receiving more praise than it deserves. The long queue of people waiting is off-putting, and none of the staff members are capable of speaking English. Despite my girlfriend's knowledge of Italian, she struggled to understand their strong dialect. Thankfully, a helpful local in the queue came to our rescue and translated for us. However, the person behind the bar showed a lack of effort by skipping our order and attending to someone else. The quality of the food is below average, especially when compared to other establishments in Bari. Considering the price, it would be more worthwhile to dine at a decent restaurant with better service. Three stars seem sufficient to reflect my experience.

We were really late for dinner after a long day and after discovering that all restaurants have closed, a local barista recommended zia Maria as the last option instead of McDonald’s. We were totally surprised by how amazing and tasty the sandwiches were for fast food options.They are made on the spot and the fries were freshly fried and hot. If you ever ran out of choice, definitely grab some sandwiches and eat by the sea.

Excellent sandwiches!! I highly recommend Brasile and Tirolese. Although it's possible to pay only cash.

Super tasty sandwhiches you can fill with everything you want. Meat is very good quality, provided by one of the best butcheries in town. The best after a saturday night around. You haven't been in Bari if you havent been here.

We ordered fries and mozzarella sticks, and it was very good. The only thing that's weird is figuring out the ordering system which we didnt, just stood in line (but nevertheless we got the food without any complaints from the staff)

Delicious Sandwiches! Ate here almost every night I was in Bari. Unfortunately I don’t speak Italian but it was still easy to order and I enjoyed every bite of my sandwich

Very tasty paninis with an endless variety. Lots of locals queuing so you need a bit of patience. But it's worth the wait.
