The
Bos
der
Omarmingen
is
part
of
the
Geestmerloo.
It
is
a
place
between
the
Geestmerambacht
and
Alkmaar
Noord
(Daalmeer).
It
is
a
walking
area
with
lots
of
play
equipment.
A
memorial
forest,
where
you
can
'adopt'
a
tree
in
memory.
On
the
side
of
the
Geestmerambacht
you
will
find
the
entrance
to
the
natural
cemetery.
All
graves
are
provided
with
a
plaque
of
a
tree,
on
which
the
name
and
date
of
death
are
visible.
So
you
will
not
find
any
statues
or
tombstones
here.
There
is
a
dog
walking
area
on
the
cycle
path
side.
Even
though
the
dogs
are
welcome
in
the
nature
reserve,
where
they
are
allowed
to
walk
around
on
a
leash.
Is
this
piece
of
land
an
off-leash
area?
It
is
clear
that
there
is
a
clearing
obligation
in
both
the
off-leash
area
and
the
nature
reserve.
There
are
many
yellow
garbage
bins.
And
that
is
very
pleasant
considering
children
are
playing
and
people
are
sitting
and
lying
in
the
grass.
