THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! WHY DOESNT EVERY DEL TACO TASTE LIKE THIS???? The service is top notch. When I ask for sauce...they friggin give me PLENTY. There is no reason why any Del Taco should be conducting business if they are not operating like this one. I mean the window washer guy greeted me with a smile...like it was out of a movie. FABULOUS!!!

This is my first time getting Del Taco! I got the spicy Jack quesadilla and the large taco salad. The quesadilla was skimpy but good. The taco salad was great. Wish they gave more meat, guacamole, and sour cream though. I even went back through the drive through again to get a Macho Chicken Burrito! The burrito is LOADED BABY! Not this skimpy portions like Taco Smell. This place is INCREDIBLE! Get the burritos you won’t be disappointed!

I was and still am sooooo tired of the truck stop food and its been over a month since Ive had my taco and tostada fix. I walked right across the street to see what Del Taco was talking about and I was surprised to see so many options. I told the young man that took my ordervthat I was overwhelmed! I got my taco and tostada, of course and then the deluxe fries and let me tell you...DO NOT get the deluxe fries if you are ordering something else to eat unless your stomach is stretched alllll of the way out lol. They give you PLENTY and my tostadas were fixed with two shells (mmmm..ookkkk) The order was out super quick although they were super busy in and outside. Alright Del Taco!

The first Del Taco restaurant of Barstow, CA ever built is definitely a great place to drive through or eat inside. The place is still owned and run by the original owners who created Del taco franchise and they have a special menu which is the original menu from when Del taco was started. We were driving back from Vegas and stopped by. Food was clean and there were more servers than your ordinary Del Taco or fast food restaurant. They were also very nice. Definitely try this place if you’re in the area.

By far the best Del Taco out of all the Del Tacos. Still owned and operated by Ed himself (the founder of Del Taco) this place is amazing! Ed travels hours to be here to make sure things run smoothly and it definitely shows. Not only is the food great but the customer service is too and to make it even better they have semi truck parking! This place is a Mecca of great food, good people and is a great halfway point between L.A. and Vegas. Well done guys keep it up!

This is the original Del Taco and they take a special pride in that. Even their food is stepped up over a regular Del Taco. Larger portions and better service and quality. Definitely visit and see the pride they take in their store.

Crew is friendly, everyone who was touching food had gloves on, the store was clean inside and out and the bathrooms too. Food was hot as well.

Dream come True! Visiting one of the OG Del Taco restaurants was truly a new core memory for me. Food? better. Coke machine? Pebble ice! Bathrooms? Larger. Staff? cuter. Maybe I’m just a fan boy but this was my most favorite Del visit ever. They have the original menu which was really cool to see. Food just tasted more authentic and made in house. My wife and I both got souvenir shirts and the staff even let my wife try it on before she bought to make sure it would fit her.

I have been to many Del Taco restaurants, but this was the first one that I saw had semi truck parking. The Del taco is now called the Barstow Taco and it is OUTSTANDING!!

Never tried Del Taco until yesterday, and it is much better than Taco Bell. The tacos are packed full, and you end up with with a much better meal. I will definitely return. Thanks

This Del Taco, always the best one to come to. They have a slightly different menu since it's the 1st Del Taco. Everything is exceptionally fresh and good. Love the Barstow taco. Will always stop here of in the area. We highly recommend.

Has to be the best Del Taco in the world! The flavors are good & everything always tastes fresh! This is a great stop to take a break and eat before the rest of your road trip. Tostadas, crunchy tacos & burritos are delicious. When they have the fish tacos they are really delicious too! It can get very busy, but that’s what keeps everything fresh. So many times I’ve stopped here for so many years and you see the owner. He’s got to be one of the best employees! He’s actually working and serving just a leads by example type! Kudos to him, he really makes this place what it is!

How many times I’ve driving by on my way to Vegas and this time we decided to stop. I didn’t know there were three that still have the original menu. Obviously not the original location. Got the Barstow taco which just tasted sooooo different in a good way, taco shell was crispier, more meat, definitely more cheese and a tomato on top. The bean burrito with red sauce even tasted so much better.

I was told that this Del Taco had the best tacos. They are called the Barstow tacos and they are the best. I have never had a taco from Del Taco as big as the ones that I got. I ordered three, but could only could eat two, they're delicious. The place was crowded, but the delivery of the food was quick. There's stuff is on it. They are fast at serving your food. If you're ever in Barstow, you have to try. They're tacos are the best Del Taco tacos I've ever eaten.

Anytime I am driving by Barstow, this is a must. The Original DelTaco, amazing taste, great service and awesome food choices you can't get at any other DelTaco! Stop by, you won't regret.

This particular Del Taco is one of the best Del Tacos a person could go to. Every taco, and burrito is made to the max. They don't do things cheap here like most of the other Del Tacos. Everything that I've ordered here was worth it. OK, today I got the number 10, and full sized it. Then I ordered two regular tacos because I was super hungry. I ate in, and they gave me a number for inside. It was busy coming back from Vegas and the river traffic. Lots of people at Del Taco. I got my drink and sat down for a few minutes. Just started looking at my phone when the lady brought out my food much faster than I expected. I ate my fries first because who likes cold fries? They were great, and the large container was packed with fries. Then I pounced onto the tacos. The tacos were overflowing with meat, cheese, lettuce, and a slice of tomatoe balancing on top. They filled me up. Now I had this giant combo burrito to eat. I looked at it and said, "No way. I'm too full." Usually tacos don't fill me up, but the ones at this Dell Taco, and the fries, were spilling over with tasty goodness. I always enjoy coming to this Del Taco. They do everything right, and have been on top of their game every time I've gone there. I hope everyone has a nice, peaceful, relaxing, time while they are there, as I do every time.

Great food! I’ve never had Del Taco before so what’s better than having it at the first location. The surrounding area has great views of the mountains. I would definitely come back to this location if I am passing though.

This is one of the BEST Del Taco's around. They make all their tacos like it's new release time. Generous meat, lettuce, and a nice tomato slice. <I bet they give lots of cheese too, but I can't do dairy> Also, they have never messed up my order. Giving me cheese when I request none. Every time I ask for well-done fries, I get expertly cooked crispy fries. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

One of the original del tacos. Kind of cool to be there and the menu is very different. The tacos come with a slice of tomato on top, not chopped tomatoes. There are some things that are on menus and other places that they don't have and vice versa. The history is kind of cool. You can even get a t-shirt saying it's one of the first del tacos.

Place is always good. As one of the original Del Tacos in the Barstow area, we always stop there when we're close by. People are welcoming and friendly. A little busy at times but you'll understand why after eating there.

This place was extremely busy when we went by for lunch. We went through the drive thru and was pleasantly surprised with how quick and hot our food was. Of course it was delicious, too. Great service!

Friendly service! I got the crunchy tacos. I usually like eating at Taco Bell and haven't been to Del Taco in a long time, but I was very impressed with the tacos. They were full of beef and cheese, just the way I like it...

They have the rudest lady working at this deal taco! I’ve put in two complaints about her and she’s still there! Absolutely horrible older woman by the name of Patricia. She’s heavy woman and needs an attitude adjustment! Everyone else has always been wonderful

Fast efficient friendly service. Food quality and quantity is exactly the same at this location. Well worth a visit. Prices are reasonable. I recommend the # 10. Macho burrito with a Chilli cheese fry. Awsome meal. Can feed 2 people. Great job everyone at Del Taco.

My first time here with my husband. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was and how attentive the workers were. We got 1 Bun Taco 1 Chicken Taco with fries. Food didn't disappoint and the workers were very friendly. We even snapped a photo with the gal that delivered our food to us. Sweet lady. Thank you so much ❤ We'll definitely be back!
